What a second half performance from the Scarlets. Great comeback and the converted try in the final minute was the absolute icing on the cake for me as it now means London Irish now need a bonus point win with four or more tries but aswell at getting that they will need to win by more than seven to ensure Leinster don't pick up a losing bonus point.
That's my understanding of it anyway so hopefully the acca lands now. _________________ National Hunt Beginners Guide |

Not such a good result for me ...blew a decent acca and was my only bet of the day... had a nightmare this weekend to go with the toulouse disaster the week before ...ouch |

Funny how things work out isn't it. A late try earlier had me in a good mood but a few hours later Quins score two converted tries in the last five minutes to deny me in the Toulouse game whilst Perpignan didn't bother showing up against the Saints.
I managed to trade out for a little green in the Toulouse game but still very frustrating both the fact that Toulouse allowed Quins to score the tries and that I didn't go back when it was at 1.01 and trade out for a guaranteed X profit no matter what.
Lesson learned (for a few months at least, lol) _________________ National Hunt Beginners Guide |

| These last 10-20 mins have killed me this week as most have had bigger games next week they have made loads of changes and let the other team get a couple of late ones to sneak back in under the h'cp. Lesson learnt. |

| I had a winning margin accumulator of 100/1 ruined by Montpellier's last minute score vs Connacht, and I had a handicap accumulator of 13/1 ruined by Munster's last minute score against Treviso. It's amazing how you can get ruined so late on. I did have a couple of bets up so slightly up this weekend. |

Well its back tonight, I won nicely on Racing Metro Vs Wasps last night so up for a good weekend now.
I think some games should be avoided this weekend, for instance Perpignan Vs Treviso, the French have named a weakened team and Treviso at full strength but I still think its difficult to call. I do fancy Northampton at +9, although I do think Munster will just sneak the win. I've also seen Sale's team for Sunday which is weakened with no Cohen, Peel, Seymour, and if Toulouse are at full strength then they could be worth supporting. |

| Yeah saw that Jay, nicely done sir. Finally cash in on a draw instead of getting burnt by them. Good work. |

cheers Rj..
I think it was machine that got me thinking about it ...
got burnt a few times early season with the draws but then with the new rules in the contact area and less attacking rugby got me thinking it might be worth a shot in tight games. Seems a bit big at 20-1 for the draw when you can't split the teams especially in wet conditions.
will definitely be thinking about it more instead of instatnly dismissing a tight match..
Cheers |
