Ok I said I wasn't betting on the LV cup after the home team muppet who took charge of the Dragons Gloucester game but I can't help a cheeky bet here.
Leeds are 10's to win in Llanelli but don't look to have too bad a side out and will be looking for any win to kickstart their season. The Scarlets are quite weak and young and the majority of their team have been playing in the Welsh premiership for Llanelli. Not a big bet but will also be playing Leeds on the hc'p to cover this. 18 pts is too many especially as 8 of Leeds' team were playing when they only lost by 16 to a full strength London Irish a few weeks back, while 12 were in the squad that nearly beat Gloucester in week 2. |

jaydubs I totally agree with you about James Jones the ref on Thursday night, he was rubbish and is probably one of the worst refs in the Magners. Didnt help either side in my opinion but happy the Dragons won _________________ Football and Boxing expert. |

Yep thought Gloucester had more than enough to win but teh ref combined with some bad decisions lost that game
On to today i couldn't have got that more wrong
If Leeds couldn't put up a battle against effictively a Welsh Premiership side today then they are already relegated IMO.....very poor |

| I fancied Leeds on a handicap of +18, as there wasn't many players missing for them compared to the Scarlets, but never expected that result, I think Leeds are doomed. Exeter on the other hand were +14 and I had some of that, they seem to be playing with a lot of spirit and they have some good players too. |

Agreed Phil.
Exeter are looking very good and have an excellent team spirit. Leeds have no confidence and can't win games they should. They really should have beat Stade but for some woeful kicking in the Amlin a couple of weeks back. Add to that the humping they got from effectively a Welsh premiership side and things are looking very gloomy indeed. Only Newcastle being as poor now can save them..... |

Gonna have a little acca on the 4 matches here so I don't play any single one. Lots of sides look stronger than their opponents but not sure how the young ones will play... anyway based on strength of teams (in my eyes) I am going to take .
London Irish -9
Newcastle +6 Stupidly)
Leeds -2 (even more stupidly)
Wasps -6
All SkyBet
good look if you play I am sure you will need it... |

I had an acca yesterday which won for once -
Scarlets +11, Newcastle +10, Bath +8, Sale +7. Made up for losing on Leicester on Friday, couldnt believe how bad they were against the Ospreys. |

The Tigers really struggled Friday night but the squad was stretched after the first LV match and the Australia game, plus the internationals, so it was always going to be tough against the Ospreys who have some of the best up and coming players in Wales and had loads of experience in the team. _________________ Football and Boxing expert. |

| When I looked at the Ospreys-Leicester game I counted 6 players on each side who would probably be classed as 1st team squad members, and Leicester had at least another 4 who play for England age groups and 3 playing on loan for Nottingham, I expected better than how they performed, at least within the +13 handicap, bet Cockerill roasted them afterwards. |

And hence why I won't be putting anything but a fun acca on the LV cup
0/4
Leeds really are shocking ... and I bet London Irish will be on extra training this week... |
