Yep definitely agree on the Ulster .... got bonus points against Aironi in both matches last year and look to have a very strong side out tonight...as you say need the 5 after losing out on the BP in Leicester.
Still weighing up Quins.... starting to suffer with injuries and this magnificent run has to come to an end sometime.... Their pack was mullered last week by Wasps but they are opportunist adn can score from anywhere.... |

I like all three home teams tonight.
The Quins/Toulouse is a toss-up really and should hopefully be cracker, im with the Quins to use confidence and momentum to see them over the line - the packed house should also help - but if Toulouse do win then it won't be a massive shock.
Ulster, if weather ok, should smash the Italians who are poor on the road - been outscored 142-13 on last 3 away games. Ulster have to win their home games well to have any chance in this pool.
Cardiff should also do the business tonight. They have got this cup as priority and they have the big guns back, Edinburgh may just be a little flattered to be sitting on top at the moment - to say the least. |

| Think Treviso are way overpriced at nearly 15/8 ....should have beat the Ospreys the other week and meet one of the worst away clubs in this comp. Biarritz have only beaten narrowly the likes of Glasgow, the Dragons, Viadana and Calvisano in previous years and a single pointer to a poor Bath last year, however they did then lose in Aironi. In the top 14 they only have a win at Bordeaux and then thumpings in their other 4. Treviso only lost 3 home games last year in the Rabo league. +4.5 is the safety net but they should give Biarritz a lot to think especially as Biarritz are without Yachvili and Harinordiquay. |

| Scarlets up against my team Munster today, looks like a tight game to call, Munster can't keep expecting O Gara to win it with last play drop goals. Scarlets are strong at home but you can never count out the mighty men of Munster. Tough to call a result here but I do like the points total line here. Both Munster games so far have had totals in the mid to high 40's, scarlets score points too as proved in there first 2 games (even tho in my opinion Northampton gave up some very poor tries to them last time out). My bet would be over 35.5points @ 10/11 |

Also gone overs on the points ....usually low scorers with Munster nicking it in Wales in the Celtic league but I think Llanelli will play to their strengths today and use their exciting backs.
Hope Treviso will hold on ..Biarritz not looking interested. |

| Will do Jaydubs, ya love my rugby. Regular at Thomond Park to see my beloved Munster. Any thoughts on the sarries/ospreys this evening? Personally it'll be very odd for me to see Peter stringer in a sarries jersey |

Have written them up on my blog but think Biarritz should easliy beat the 12.5 handicap... and gone for overs there....
Have taken a little punt on the other two with a Sarries win in Wales ...Sarries are the best away side in the Premiership and could nick a win +5 for a bit of safety...gone unders on that match....
Taking the draw and unders in Edinburgh... think it will be really tight with the situation in the group and with both desperatly needing the win think it won't be spun out wide... think Edinburgh had the worst of the decisions at the breakdown last week so will fare a lot better this week... has a history of being quite low scoring .... |

bart77 - Leinster were 5/1 to win the Heineken cup last Nov.
And I think they should too, in the first ever All-Ireland Heineken Cup Final. They came out of the Group Stages with 2 tries over Ulster (although Ulster gained more in bonus points) and no losses (Ulster had 2, including Clermont, Leinster's recent victory) so, if they do win on Saturday, they will be the record holders for winning all Heineken matches in a season.
Their semi final game really showcased their style and experience, holding Clermont Auvergne (who robbed Ulster of 4 points and had beaten Leinster last season) at bay with some outstanding defense, a spectacular converted try and a 50m drop goal.
There are some question marks over some of Leinster's key players re: injuries but so long as they can keep the ball away from the boot of Ulter's Ruan Pienaar, take their 3-finals experience into the game and not crumble under the pressure of being the favourite, they should crack it. |
