2 ATP tournaments this week both Indoors in Europe, on in Basel and one in Valencia as well as the WTA Tournament of Champions in Bali later on in the week.
A couple of bets today that I like...
Troicki to beat Baghdatis interests me despite Troicki getting a bad beating from Baghdatis when they met recently, since then he has picked up his form and Baghdatis has gone in the opposite direction.
Young to beat Melzer is another that caught my eye, Melzer had a great season in 2010 but has suffered this year and is probably happy to see the end of the year approaching, Young on the other hand is having his best year on tour and in particular the last couple of months has been excellent for him with a final recently against Andy Murray backed up by a close loss to Wawrinka. _________________ If a problem is fixable, if a situation is such that you can do something about it, then there is no need to worry. If it's not fixable, then there is no help in worrying. There is no benefit in worrying whatsoever. |

I'm finding it tough to get any value out of what's available but decided to go with the following:
Tipsarevic tb Mayer
Seppi tb Muller
Tipsarevic has moved his game up a level this year and although Mayer is a tough opponent I think he's got enough to win this one. His loss to Cilic recently was half expected as Cilic is one of these who can be very difficult to beat if he decides to actually turn up. Janko to bounce back here with a win.
Seppi is a regular that I have a punt on to win and an opponent like Muller is a typical good value bet that I would expect to come in. Seppi has shown some good form generally of late so I'm backing him here also. |

| the pick I like is Gulbis over Querrey. Gulbis is able to seriously threaten the top and himself admits that it just depends on his attitude. Think he ll step it here and put Sammy in a disposition. |

True, but I wouldn't risk on this one, Muller can be extremely nasty on this type of court. If he gets the first set, then I think that Seppi will have no chance of coming back. I've watched most of my fellow countryman matches and I can tell you he lacks something, his game is very inconsistent.
I'd take Ljubicic to win @ 2.1, possibly a 2-0 against Llodra, who is playing anything but tennis lately. If the croatian serves decently he should have no problems on this one.
Also, Nieminem to win 2-0 @ 2.37 against Thomaz Bellucci, who is very weak on fast courts. Nieminem on the other hand barely lost a final last week against Tsonga...
Good luck everyone!! |

He barely lost a final to Monfils 2 weeks ago m8, and then retired last week in the 3rd set against Tsonga in the 2nd round And Bellucci doesn't play much on fast courts especially Indoor Hard but did take Youzhny to 14-12 in the 5th set of a Davis Cup match recently.
Good luck though.
Gulbis/Querrey looks a typical muppets match with Querrey struggling to find his form after a string of injuries and Gulbis a total head case who can go from hero to zero in the space of a minute.
Good luck.
Looked at Llodra to beat Ljubicic but always worry about Llodra outside of France and I just can't read Ljubicic at all.
Seppi is another I struggle with, find him a good underdog to back at times but a total flake when a fav, but that's just my personal opinion not sure if the stats back that up...He's in decent form now but with Seppi you always wonder when is he going to go in to muppet mode.
Nicolas Almagro was a player I saw tipped on another site to beat the handicap against Juan Monaco but on closer inspection my instinct would be to actually oppose Almagro who is pretty rubbish Indoors even if the courts in Valencia are supposed to be slow...Monaco has been struggling since a good run at the US Open and is no wonder Indoors but has won his 1st round match at Valencia in the last 2 years so even if he doesn't win may well be able to push Almagro close. _________________ If a problem is fixable, if a situation is such that you can do something about it, then there is no need to worry. | Today is the day Roddick will be looking to avenge Federer s Wimbledon steal two years ago as that he will bring his A game to humiliate an out of form Federer in his home town of Basel. |

Today LLodra vs Feliciano Lopez
This year Michael Llodra is in a good form and for this reason it’s very difficult to suppose a victory of F. Lopez;but we have to consider also the fact that the two players played against each other four times with the result of 2:2!
However for me Llodra is the favourite in this match thanks to his good health and his “special” serve & volley!
What do you think about guys? |
