Little course form to go on here - and those with a good performance last year and decent current form have been priced up accordingly.
As a result, I give you more in hope than expectation, as Each Way possibles, Johan Edfors (33/1), Paul McGinley (50/1) and Maarten Lafeber (100/1). Really a stab in the dark though and wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if this went to a 200/1+ rag. Trying to name one though? Hmmm, forget it!

Mcginley 500-1 Even though he's past it and don't putt well, even I would consider him at that price!
Think you mean 50-1 |

Hi all
Not really sure who I fancy this week so hopefully I will convince myself by the end of this.
Normally like a localish play and the obvious 2 here are Jaidee & Marksaeng. Jaidee though won in Indonesia so has perhaps had his turn. Marksaeng has a 2nd (Malaysia) and a 13th in a wgc event this year, started well in the Masters before missing the cut, but that was on a course type he probably wasn't used to.
Stenson & Westwood deserve a mention as they head the betting, although Stenson hasn't done much since the Gulf swing, and Westwood hasn't really threatened too much at the top. Not sure I fancy a McDowell repeat.
Having heard the weather I liked the idea of McGrane following China last year.
Edfors & Del Moral are the last two I will mention. Both have been in excellent form this year, Edfors winning on the Asian tour.
Right think I will go with Marksaeng 24th here last year as well, and apart from the Masters has been playing well, including a second on teh Asian Tour as well.
All the best

Reasoning for picks are Welcome mate on the forum, otherwise what good is it just listing names?
That's what you think will happen? What you think Mcdowell, Stenson and Westwood will all win the tournament? |

Hi Clarkson
pga european tour is a good website, you will find loads of headings e.g players, tournaments, and stats.once your click on stats, you will see genworth financial statistics, and that will show you everything from stroke average driving accuracy greens in regulation and putting and so on.on the website itself. there is links to the asian tour plus the australasian tour canadian tour and other tours. as some of these players sometimes crop up on the european tour because they qualified or its a co sanctioned event. |
