| A gambled horse a couple of runs back that i had taken note of runs today in the 5.40 at Kempton. Lightning Spirit say money come for it 2 runs ago and there was info on the thread it was there to win. Meet trouble inside the 2 and with no gaps appearing it wasn't given a run. Back over C+D and is 4lbs lower in the handicap than that run and is only 3lbs higher than C+D win. Has won off this mark on the turf over a mile also. Baker back in the saddle. 11/1 at the minute. |

Hi All,
Is that a Bugle I Hear? must be the Horse Alerts?
Keeping up the profitable purple run, with 4 from 12 a 33% str, and a few nice prices so we finished the day with a not to be sniffed at 85% profit!
PRAXIOS 11/1 well done deswalker and such a nice price! bet you're glad we kept it in? taken out now!
ANISEED 20/1 well done Aidan and another nice price
RAZORBILL 3/1 well done Aidan
MY PROPELLER 9/4 well done deswalker
Lets hope we can keep it going

PASTORAL JET @ 10-1 runs in this race too.I won't make a fuss about it like Macdillon because I value my windows too much. However, caught the eye 2 runs back at Kempton and returns there tonight. I will be backing this to come good since it 'looked' like a good thing had it been put into the race, but as Aiden pointed out, it could be a bridle merchant. We'll see - best of luck today all. P.S - I find it hard to predict early morning markets, but the 10-1 is not going to last very long on first impressions? |

Yer, only had a token bet on it though since it had disappointed me so many times before, Ive been following the thing all season.
For todays racing I have a small fancy for Jade in the 16:00 at Pontefract @ 8/1. Second in this race last year, she has a weight shift on the winner then, is well drawn and I think may have been primed for another go at this by the race schedule.

Have you read Hugh Taylor today merlin? Reading between the lines in his piece he may agree with you on Pastoral Jet...

Good mark from a trade contact for East Texas Red in the 3.20 Yarmouth - has started to move with most firms but can still be backed @9/2 with SportingBet and 4/1 with William Hill - Stan James - SkyBet and Paddy Power ..... more likely to be nearer 3/1 before too long..... |

No Des, I think Hugh reads most of my rants though I jest of course, but he obviously watches the races so hopefully I am doing something right. Into 5's exchanges so fingers crossed.
Jade has done well since its gambled come-back win so good luck. |

6 winners for hughes yesterday.
Will it be a case of what is wrong with hughes today?
Anyway,I think SMP entries today looks good to win especially REPEATER and BETWEEN US.I won't discount PEARL SPICE who should improve upped in distance.
16.20 REPEATER run at the doncaster cup merits respect today but drops back in distance a slight worry given that he will be short in the market.
16.50 BETWEEN US for me has a better chance dropping in distance after having excuses lto.A cd winner and might go for another catch me if you can tactic.
Any other thoughts? |

| Hi Aidan, what are your thoughts on Huntsmans Close in the 2.20? I see Beepee has put up Van Der Neer who is a massive market mover today. Looks like they're fairly close at the top of the market |
