Has nice middle weight of 8-11.
Course likes it here won one, been place twice,
Jockey got newish jockey on board, won on Here just once,
Class Has won two class 5 races, so loves this company.

BLOWN IT won last time out in this grade and his in fact won 3 times in this class/distance and looks decidedly the one to be on to me.
Back with a top class jock (ridden by lesser lights in its three unplaced runs since its last win) and with the plum draw I'd make this tomorrow's NAP if I hadn't already used in on another sure thing ( ) at Batth!
Love You Louis has obvious chances but I confess to not being a 100% Jinks Jenkins fan if/when a horse is getting a bit high in the handicap so I certainly wouldn't have the mortgage on it. And I must say I hadn't noticed what a dire time Linda Perrett is having - 4wins from 180 and nothing for weeks, so I'd discount her two. Alan Berry has a similarly abject record so the main challenger must be Dandy Nicholls' hat-trick seeker Imperial LEgend. It is 10lbs higher for its last win and a good claimer takes off 7lbs so it has obvious claims - I'll sticj with the selection though because of the better grade of race it is been running in. Looks good value anywhere nearthe forecast 12/1 |

PAVERS STAR
HAS REALLY IMPROVED THIS SEASON AND THERE MAY BE MORE TO COME,WAS FINISHING TAILED OFF IN HIS RACES THIS TIME LAST YEAR.NEIL FARLEY WHO TOOK OVER THE RIDE 3 RACES AGO GETS A GOOD TUNE OUT OF HIM,THE FASTER GOING ALSO HELPS HE GETS GD/FM HERE,JOCKEY DOES OK AT THE COURSE (11%) AS DOES TRAINER NOEL WILSON (12%) PAVERS STAR LOOKS TO BE WELL DRAWN,RACES OUT OF THE HANDICAP BUT IN A WEAK RACE SHOULD MAKE THE FRAME AT LEAST. |

Fearless Freddie The Place To Bet Handicap - 5f
Wicked Wilma....Stuff this reading through all the form of the horses in race back to the old way of picking Wicked Wilma is my Social Club member on committee so that will do for me ,
Wicked Wilma is from the Alan Berry yard in Cockerham, Lancs who comes into the race looking to win it again as it won here three years ago, The 8yo been a good servant for the yard and gave good pleasure for owner,
Its ran 82 races through the years won 8 times and 28 place finish's through the years it usually has a win and this year it's still looking for a win
Wicked Wilma has been up in Scotland twice last month finishing 2nd and last race 18 days ago at Hamilton 5f heavy finished 3rd , Jockey Julie Burke has been onboard the last 5 races gettin it in frame three of the races 3,2,3 she is also claiming 3lbs off the horses back ,
We've had rain up here all day Sunday so i would expect the going to change to good to soft and the horse to get it's annaul win as it's running well below it's highest mark it's won before . |

| Not in the best form of late but could be excused but (Koolgreycat) is on a winning mark over coarse and distance and did have Pavers star in behind has the same draw here and if finding some of that form should give a good account of himself. Will be a decent price come the off and is coming out of the same gate as when last winning so just a replay now would be nice.NB I do think Imperial Legend will give him the biggest test as the cheeckpieces seem to be doing the trick and he could still improve some more but at a price ill have to take him on with Koolgreycat. He could still be very competitive with Shirley Teasdale claiming 7. |

Imperial Legend
A three year old gelding which has raced 8 times, winning 2 and placed in another one. We were actually at Ayr and seen IL win it's races (no I did not back it) on both days. had a great time. Goes well on good to firm ground, has raced on G2F on 3 occasions with 2 wins and a second. Much improved in it's last 2 races since the fitting of cheek-pieces, retained for today's race. Jockey Shirley Teasdale in the plate again, has been there for both wins and again able to claim a very useful 7lbs. Trainer David Nicholls has a S/R here of 14% over the last few seasons |

Here Now And Why
Likes the ground good to firm which he came 3rd 2 runs back at ayr latest with 2 other runs 3month ago coming a good 4th of 10th with visor 1st time and then a month earlier another 3rd and both with only beat by 1 furlong for the next place up. Lowest weight he has been for a while though of 8-11 but has won at 8-5 which was his last win so drop in weight might help as been running 9-4 average and does have corse distance win. 1st time visor 4 runs back and then went back to regular cheek pieces which he has on agaon today and came a good 5th last time out on the all weahter so back to good to firm today might be the day. NAP WIN _________________ I stake low on bets.
If i had a double headed coin I would still loose and if i had a lucky rabbits foot it would bring as much luck as it did the rabbit. |

WICKED WILMA
Going for the oldest in the race, again. She is a C & D winner, more than once. She has raced here 19 times and been in the frame on 11 of those occasions. She has an ideal draw in the 1 stall. She has a useful 3lb claimer on board, who has ridden her in her last 5 races and many times before that, so she should get a good ride. The ground should suit. There has been no move by the handicapper over her last 4 races and she is reasonably weighted. Chances! |

Imperial Legend
Shirley Teasdale and the hat trick seeking Imperial Legend who has shot up the ratings after being successfully ridden by todays jockey might have found the ten pound rise difficult to over come. But thanks to Shirley claiming seven pounds back that will make the task more achievable. He could barely have been more impressive at Ayr last time and that is due to the fitting of cheekpieces for the second time to gain his second win. Lets hope that they are as competitive as the numbers would suggest. |

HERE NOW AND WHY
This 5yo gelding has four wins and seven placings in twenty seven runs on turf. Has made the frame in context of this competition in his last six runs. Has been a course and distance winner. Has won once and been placed twice in his five races here. Does well on all grounds but will prefer today's good to firm as his best performances have been on good to firm. |

BLOWN IT - 5.10 MUSSELBURGH
Last four wins have all been at this minimum trip and has also won at a higher level over six furlongs. A high draw could be an advantage and he is ideally drawn in twelve of twelve. The trainer is rapidly establishing himself as a trainer to follow. Joe Fanning has a 20% strike rate on the track. |

Here Now And Why
Here Now And Why was squeezed out and was unlucky not to finish closer than fourth at Hamilton in June, he has won four times at 5f on good and good to firm ground.
Finished fifth of 12 to Alnoomaas on his latest outing at Wolverhampton earlier this month.
Here Now And Why has been running respectably for most of the season and ran a decent race from a poor draw on the AW and the drop back to 5f looks ideal.
D Fentiman has the reins today so here's hoping for a good result.
