Chat away...
Anyone laying or backing Salacia in the opening maiden at Yarmouth? Looks exposed and Zarooni obviously passed it on (second the the Fugue last season in a maiden and downhill a lot since then). Been rested again and I think I would be against this one, in some capacity....

Redinessence - 15 Aug 2012 19:55 - Gowran Park, 1m 1f 100y
Trainer: J E Kiely
Jockey: S A Gray
Form figures: 500520
Age: 4
Country: IRE
Past Form: Placed once in seven starts. Beaten 17l behind Money Spider at 25-1 when 14th of 17 on her latest outing at Naas over 1m (yielding - soft) earlier this month.
Your comments: Aidanldrebin 270312Four-year-old daughter of a smart 6/7f performer; shaped well in a couple of 1m AW maidens so far, not asked too many questions on either occasion and never competitive as a result; type to come good in handicap company at a later date, unlikely to get much more than a plater's mark.
runs in 4 00 gp money coming |

2nd horse alert is in the 2 30 gp
All That Rules - 15 Aug 2012 18:25 - Gowran Park, 1m 4f 0y
Trainer: T Carmody
Jockey: B A Curtis
Form figures: 6-721
Age: 3
Country: GB
Past Form: Won on his latest outing when 2-1fav at Wexford over 1m 4f (good) last month, beating Hail by 1 3/4l.
Your comments: Aidanldrebin alert 271111 Closely related to a progressive middle distance stayer; very green but finished off to great effect on his debut without being given a hard time; type to excel at three once tackling middle distances.
another being well backed |

Merlin both the market leaders are too risky to back at that price for me, but a Lay is equally as risky.
SUSHI represents just a small bit of a value I reckon with the last 3 runners of her damsire at this track finishing 221 and the hope that it will leave it's debut miles behind. |

runs tommorrow at york another horse alert
Western Prize - 11 Aug 2012 13:30 - Ascot, 2m 0f 0y
Trainer: R M Beckett
Jockey: Y Take
Form figures: 410-612
Age: 4
Country: GB
Past Form: He has won three times from 1m to 1m 6f on good to firm and good ground and on the all-weather. Beaten 4l by Montaser when second of 7 at 5-2 on his latest outing over this course and distance (firm) last month.
Your comments: aidenldrebin alert 200111 Well regarded and nicely bred colt who got off the mark in smooth fashion on debut; will relish a step up to 10f+ and could potentially be a very useful performer in time.

Feel lucky today 2 black cats crossed my path yesterday _________________ I stake low on bets.
If i had a double headed coin I would still loose and if i had a lucky rabbits foot it would bring as much luck as it did the rabbit. |

| Devotion in the 3pm at Gowran is jumping out at me!! shorter trip should not inconvenience and receives a 12lb pull with Chrysanthemum. At the prices this is the obvious choice and on WH you can get 5/1 insure 3 places which is bigger than the horses around it in the market! |

No surprise that the market told the story, the one that got backed hacked-up so good call on no Lay
Over at Perth Cosmic Wonder is ridden by Dickie Johnson, while Gordon Elliot's usual jockey here, Jason Maguire, is on Mcains second fav, Emrani. It's one of those interesting ones.... has Maguire had to let a winner go, or does his full-time boss have one lined-up to beat the fav which he would often have ridden..... Cosmic Wonder beat Emrani couple if runs ago, but not sure it gave its running that day, but still feel it has a better form chance. |
