Anyone noticed that Oniz Tiptoes runs in the Oniz Tiptoes' 100th Run Handicap Chase. 5:05 at Market Rasen tomorrow?
I remember the Tatling running in a race of this nature before, a race in which it duly obliged and at a good price too.
It's a class 4 race over 3 miles and after a quick look its a race that it's a class he has been contesting of late with a number of good performances. a 2nd a Cartmell two starts ago - beaten 1.5 lengths and a 4th over course and distance LTO. Travelled well into the race and went 2nd before getting bumped 3 out which blew its chances.
Oniz Tiptoes 7-1 at present _________________ Follow me on Twitter |

Sitting here going through the System Ratings, and it is pouring down with rain, and thunder and lightning.
Twenty minutes ago sunshine and a cool breeze, but now cold and rumbling from up above, and lashing down, West Sussex way.
Just to add....lots of sea-gulls about. _________________ Trading or Betting Blogs & System section Daily Lays

Racing Post's Tom O'Ryan quoted on Chester's going, "A total of four millimetres fell at the track on Saturday, with the going described as god to firm, good in places. The racing starts at 2.00." |

Gone for castle in the sky in the 3:40 Chester real and one a day but April fool 40/1. I no its been running prity bad of late but could just bounce back and 40/1 seems prity too high. _________________ I stake low on bets.

With the rain that is falling, while watching the marathon, I presume Newbury will be getting the wet weather also and the going would change from good to firm to good and later on good to soft.
Racing Post reporter stated it has ben a dry night and nothing about this morning.
With possibly a change in the going, I was looking at the alerts for today's racing and in the first at Newbury 1.40 we have an amateur race and a open race to figure out.
The one that has been puit up on the alerts page is as follows:
| Quote: |
Hamilton Hill - 05 Aug 2012 13:40 - Newbury, 1m 2f 6y
Trainer: D Burchell
Jockey: Miss S Brotherton
Form figures: 618240
Age: 5
Country: GB
Past Form: Successful at 1m 2f and 1m 6f on soft and heavy ground. Beaten 16l behind Chosen Character at 18-1 when 12th of 13 on his latest outing at Chepstow over 1m (firm) last month.
Your comments: InsideMan 251011 Caught my eye this one. I can see this one going in again. When he was asked for an effort he pulled out more and he really kept on well. That run came at Yarmouth in the 17.00. I can see him winning again NTO |
.
Now when insideman put this one up for last October and this one has raced eleven times since with one win squeezed amongst them.
Hamilton Hill seems to like cut in the ground and if the rain has arrived, this could be in his favour. Since his last win which was over ten furlongs, he has been tackling various trips and today he is back over a trip he could excel at and has competent jockey Miss S Brotherton in the saddle. Who is capable of getting the best out of her mount and can be strong in at the finish. Nice price in doing so. The high draw of eleven might work into her favour for a hold up horse.
With not many front runners in the race, this could become a tactical and with HAMILTON HILL could stay on better than most here. |

| Polski Max in the 2.00 at Chester looks overpriced around 11/2. Despite carrying lumps of weight i think he can defy this mark and with Richard Fahey being one of the top trainers at the track and the booking of Lee Topliss to take off a few pounds. The draw in this small field shouldnt make much difference and i have no idea why the Racing Post had Penny Garcia as favourite (must have been concentrating on the Olympics when composing the tissue). More of a danger is Dream Maker and the rank outsider Starlight Angel. |

When it comes to nursery racing, I do like top weights, which is in common with apprentice races. I rarely stray from top weights in these races as they are meant to be the better horse in the race.
I have to agree with nors, with the racing post prices. POLSKI MAX has raced at two tracks where galloping is required, these turning tracks like Chester and Southwell speed is the main factor and with POLSKI MAX able to get away from the stalls and lead these tight tracks could suit his style of racing.
He will not have it all his own way as there are several front runners or prominent players and if they all cut each other throat the race could be set up for DREAM MAKER but with POLSKI MAX running in better races and aimed at these races could indicate that Richard Fahey must think the horse has pontential to progress and stepping back in class could be a learning curve and a positive run would build confidence for another step back up the ladder. |
