My main bet of the meeting will be the Ed Walker-trained Willie Wag Tail in the 12f handicap on the Wednesday. He is a wholly unexposed colt who won his maiden nicely at two before shaping really well on his return at Sandown in May, finishing second behind Freddy Q; made no mistake last time at Kempton, travelling extremely well throughout and eventually asserting inside the final furlong to run out a good winner. Sure to be a whole lot more to come from him.
Huntsmans Close in the 6f maiden on the opening day is an obvious eyecatcher, but that debut effort will not have been missed by many and I am just hoping for as competitive a race as possible to make his price.
Hekaayaat in the 6f fillies' maiden on the Wednesday is a well-bred filly who is apparently showing above average ability on the practice grounds, and she debuts in a race both the yard and owner tend to run smart sorts in. _________________ Dark Horses 2013 - Flat

Well, the first of many that I have down as interesting for Goodwood has an entry... Misdemeanour in the 15:45 handicap on Tuesday. Looking dangerously handicapped off 87 I fancy...
