EIGHTFOLD (market not well formed yet but @ 4-1 hopefully)
Eightfold finally fulfilled the promise it had been showing by getting home late at Lingfield (turf) last time out - having been given some eye catching rides through the summer. The interesting thing is I still think they're treating it with kid gloves, and so a 1lb rise from the handicapper could be made to look a generous offering. I think this horse will win races off a mark well over 70 at some stage, but will need to keep making progress now. Maybe they have their eye on a handicap at somewhere like Glorious Goodwood and if that's the case perhaps we'll see it put to work a little earlier today. |

210sw - Sheepclose...
zHas shown recent improved form on fast ground and the longer trip should help offset the penalty.
815B - Taffy Thomas...
2 out of 3 over fences but with progression expected should hold a decent chance. Drop in trip hopefully shouldnt inconvenience. |

2:50pm Yarmouth - TAHLIA REE NAP
Half-sister to Royal Hunt Cup winner Julienas, who was a decent handicapper at 3yo (rated 95 at end of campaign). Closely related to Lytton a winning juvenile debutant, and who had a patchy 3yo campaign and dropped 25lbs after a good run on last 2yo start in a Listed race. Out of a Cherry Hinton winner and Phoenix Stakes third place, who is a half-sister to a Mill Reef and Middle Park Stakes winner. If she's got any ability like her family she should be well up to taking a race of this calibre.
Further more Michael Bell gave a decent report of her gallops work on his website saying "THALIA REE appears in fantastic form and she has been entered at Yarmouth on Tuesday".
The stable links up well with Hayley Turner at this track having a good strike rate and profitability. _________________ D.Rogerson's Ratings

Prime Exhibit 8/1 NAP
Competitive handicap and anything can win these and all horses have a decent case to win I am going for Prime Exhibit who drops in grade and showed some form last time out and looks to have a cracking chance here Prime Exhibit has not won in a few years now but looking really well handicapped and showed last time it still has ability in a strong race Fifth last time out and stayed on well bit was given too much to do Drops down in trip but with a new yard and look to have given the horse a new lease of life and looms over priced here " |
