This is pee-ing me off big-time..more rain on the way, and flash floods.
I have a new summer wardrobe, but this weather is like being in rain forest............................. _________________ Trading or Betting Blogs & System section Daily Lays

Looking at the long term weather forecast it looks as though July is going to be the same as June, that Gulf Stream is way too low and is not likley to be getting any higher soon.
From a very selfish point of view I love the rain
Perhaps you should consider buying a rain poncho Turf I can recommended a good company if you need one _________________ Follow me on Twitter |

Its the sporting jacket and panama hat that never get an airing in this kind of weather isn't it?
Still in National Hunt gear; wellies and Tweeds! _________________ "The problem with the future is that there are more things that could happen than will happen" - Plato (liberally paraphrased)

So You Think a non-runner in the Eclipse, anybody who had a bet on PaddyPower price boost yesterday will have the bet void |

Is there any way of telling when a horse was gelded? I know that the RP put a superscript "1" the first time its gelded, which is handy, but subsequently is there any way of telling?

OT..des, i have three new hats...two trilby's and a panama, and four jackets, and a summer suit....Goodwood was abandoned last month, and the Lingfield area in parts was like a lake, so going out in the rain was a big no, no...................
This time of year i was expecting sunshine, and cool weather so i could re-lax with a pimm's in one hand , and a cheese burger in the other in my short sleeve shirt, and bask in the delight's of going racing......instead i am getting cold, my whites are getting wet and dirty with the rain, and walking through mud, and puddles is not what the summer-time racing is about.......
I would be happy with just one-week of sunshine with-out any rain........ _________________ Trading or Betting Blogs & System section Daily Lays

Afternoon all. Roller coaster yesterday for me with a Lay on Frankies jolly saving my blushes to be honest. Today I've posted a selection in the 2.50, Mollyvator, who was obviously fancied to run well on debut going off 5-1 second fav and with the form behind Channon's Royal Ascot horse who won that race and ran with credit there, I'll be disappointed if it can't take the race (ground soft today but sired by Motivator who I believe was versatile). Anyone else playing this race
Good luck all.
As an afterthought, breeding is a factor that I haven't used very much and considering factoring it in to things; may I ask our resident breeding experts (Aiden et al), is the sire the starting point and does it tend to have more influence (than the Dam)? Thanks |

| Still think Man Of Eirean looks beatable tonight off a mark of 70, 23 pounds higher than winning the first of his two in Ireland.. Very hard with the level of competition in our handicaps for a horse to keep winning, Diamond Daze was travelling all over his rivals before not seeing out the trip the last day, very dangerous over 7f and 6/1 is value in my eyes.. |
