I am surprised to see the Jamie Osborne trained Sondeduro at such sizeable odds ahead of his handicap debut in the 4.20 at Nottingham.
He is a well-related son of Manduro who shaped with a significant amount of promise on his debut in a 7f maiden at Sandown last summer, finishing off his race strongly from a poor position. However, he has been kept to the same distance on both outings so far this year, never put in the race on his reappearance at Lingfield before he was spared a hard race when finishing midfield at Newbury on Lockinge day.
He is a lot better than he's been able to show to date, clearly finding seven furlongs an inadequate test, and I'd be surprised if he didn't turn out to be a lot better than his opening mark of 74. He does only step up a furlong in trip tomorrow, but that coupled with the move into handicap company could provide the catalyst for this colt breaking his duck. _________________ Horses To Follow 2013 - Flat

Hi Aidan,
Not one for backing against you but I am very keen on Henry Cecil´s in this race, very badly hampered last time which knocked the stuffing out of it, so I will pass and back Feelthedifference but will do the reverse forcast.
I do know that Chigun is expected to beat Fulney in the next race, so will double cecil´s and also cover the double with yours.
Good luck tomorrow.

I'm not one for backing against Aiden either and his tips are usually fantastic, however I would like it if on occasion when he gets it spectacularly wrong as he did with Camelot today, he would explain what factors led to the poor decision. I for one thoroughly enjoy his write ups of the big races but feel let down on this occasion. I still enjoy learning from him as I view him as the best tipster in the forum |

I'm not normally one to comment on the discussion forum but I was very disappointed with the cutlers comments. Firstly, Aiden provided a full explanation why he wouldn't back Camelot in his selections post on yesterday's selection board and he didn't say Camelot won't win, just that at 4/6 he wasn't value given uncertainty over the trip, handling Epsom etc. In fact if you'd bet Each Way on his selection Main Sequence (10/1) you'd have got a better return than if you'd backed Camelot to win!
No tipster should have to justify their selections post-race if they don't win! It's up to you as to whether you take their point of view on board or ignore it when the selection is initially posted. Keep up the good work, as always, Aiden!
And for today's racing I agree with your selection, Sondeduro. I've watched each of his three starts in maidens and this looks a typical example of running a horse over a trip too short in order to give it a good handicap mark. Fully expect it to go very close today at a nice price. |

Cecil seems to be running into a little bit of form lately so I have a bit of a fancy for feelthe difference as well (didnt have an entirely troublefree run last time but maybe the ride didnt help). I tend to monitor stats quite a lot and it is interesting to note the poor return on handicap debutants and also this year 1st time aids of any kind - unless monitoring which trainer and if the money is down.
Some good info and reading on here. |

I just shake my head at some of the comments on here....
You have a few guys that put THEIR thoughts down here in detail and yet they get hounded for explanations and questioned when they don't get winners yet the majority of one line guessers who put a selection up a race get masses of adulation when they hit a 10-1 winner from their 46 selections on the day.....
Its all about opinions and no one ever gets all their opinions right |

Well said jay. Just caught up myself. Some serious idiots on here. Main sequence ran a absolute cracker yet Aiden gets interrogated. If you put jam on it for some on here they would not be happy _________________ Watching those snakes !!!!!!!! |

it has got to be said it is getting worse on here with idiots who seem to want to upset members who are taking a lot of time and effort so that fellow punters can have some insight to all sports on this great site.
i for one will not post any more tips or selections on here due to the fact i received a p.m. from a member asking me to explain why the info i had given was wrong.not only was this e mail annoying and intimidating but when i post then i also back what i am posting.
so for the people that want to complain YOU DON'T HAVE TO BACK SELECTIONS OR TIPS ON THIS SITE THEY ARE PEOPLES OPINIONS AND ALL MEMBERS SHOULD HAVE THERE OWN OPINION ON WHATEVER RACE OR MATCH THEY WANT AND SHOULD NOT BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THERE OPINIONS.
i am sorry to have to post this but it needed saying _________________ its not personnal, just my opinion |

| Very sad that knowledgable people are refraining from posting due to detrimental comments. Betting is and always will be "optional" and therefore down to the individual, what they back/Lay and how much they stake. I tend to mix suggestions on here with my own opinions (admittedly never won my fortune yet!) and have been pulled out the brown stuff many times by the numerous winners in the selections thread etc. I sincerely hope that the members who lack the discipline and courtesy don't prevent those with insight and intelligence from making the site what it is! Keep em coming chaps and come on sondeduro! |

Agree with the above, I'm not here often but if I'm torn between two horses, I know I can get an in depth reason of why I should prefer one over the other. It's invaluable.
Plus, nobody tells anyone to back anything. If you take selections as tips then it's entirely up to you.
Anyway, I'm leaning towards Galiotto today at Fontwell as my NAP. Still sitting at 5/1 from an earlier 15/2, but do think it will be competent enough to see off Red Rock and Warsaw Pact. |
