| Lovethehigherlaw sadly dies on the gallops - terrible shame as he looked a potentially very decent jumper in the making. |

A couple of ex-Flat horses to have switched codes that I've noticed today are Fire Fighter (Sir Mark Prescott to Alan King) and Nebula Storm (John Oxx to Gary Moore), and I am genuinely astounded that the latter was picked up at the HIT sales for just 11,000gns. I also see that Ardlui makes his hurdling debut at Newbury on Friday for Alan King, obviously taking to his schooling in double quick time to be making his timber debut just a matter of weeks after joining his new stable. _________________ Dark Horses 2013 - Flat

I was just flicking through the ATR stable tours and was happy to see this gelding get a mention from Emma Lavelle:

Been waiting to see him since last winter, and hopefully he can prove worth the wait in the New Year. She also has Tocca Ferro's 3yo half brother in training, Le Bec. _________________ Dark Horses 2013 - Flat

| Think Fountains Flypast is a well-handicapped horse, worth following when he is back out |

No secret that Philip Hobbs thinks Fingal Bay is one of the best horses he has ever had ! In over 20 years he has had top class horses....
A chaser for sure and a potential Gold Cup horse , but a long way to go yet |

This is an update on HINTERLAND after his second to BABY MIX at Cheltenham beaten 7 lenghts giving 7lbs.
According to Ken Pitterson of the RP his action was wrong for the ground and he will be seen in a better light on soft ground. |

| The ground at Cheltenham was really good ground and should have been spot on for Hinterland.... easiest thing in racing is to look for excuses, but more difficult to look at the obvious... he was beaten by a better horse on the day!..he was giving away 7lbs however |
