Well I crashed out in Leg 2 at brighton and Leg 6 ruined the quadpot.

Looking at Greater Leighs my sels are as follows:

1. King of Connacht - Keep Your Distance
2. Key to love
3. Rublevka - Bees River
4. Peter's Gift - Minute Limit
5. Kritzia
6. Quail Landing - Mazaris

Only putting one up on 2 and 5 as the second selections look dodgy. This way it won't cost so much to play.
By the way how do you work out how many lines you've got? Is there a quick and easy way to do it?
Going for Place pot and Quad pot

Great Leighs : Quadpot

12
2 - 7 - 11
3 - 11
4 - 7

12 Lines @ 2.00 Total staked 24 Fingers Crossed

War Admiral ..... simply multiply out the number of selections in each race
mine being 1x3x2x2 = 12

By the way War Admiral - Seabiscuit kicked your butt !

Just over 6k in the Quadpot pool tonight - not bad but it would be beneficial to the Tote and their customers if more was done to highlight the bet . For example if the Tote could guarantee a 10k pool before deductions for an evening meeting such Great Leighs then punters that are unsure of the bet may be tempted to try it and this could only benefit future pools at other meetings.

Hi Exectutioner

Yeah I know Seabiscuit whupped me good - but hey he was my half-brother and Daddy told me to let him win 'cos' he felt sorry for the little guy Very Happy

Well I got the quadpot at Greater Leighs but it was only worth 6.50
I guess Doncaster is the one to go for but most of my runners look a bit iffy. So I'm going with the Wolverhampton meeting.

1. Champain Sands - Alfredtheordinary
2. Alexander hurricane
3. ponting - nemorosa
4. adios juan - champion girl
5. kirstys lad - sazerac
6. indy driver

16 lines in the placepot
8 lines in the quadpot

When i do Quad/Placepots i like to keep it to one line only so just one selection per race, this way if you do get it up then you are always going to make a profit, there was times in the past when i done multiple lines and won but still ended up with a loss!!

You've actually got me thing so i have done a Quad/Placepot at doncaster today and this is what i have gone with....

13:50: (2) Chapter And Verse (Lost)
14:20: (2) Ballet Dancer (3rd @ 8/1)
================
14:55: (6) Henderson Park (1st @ 11/1)
15:30: (15) Ponty Rossa (Lost)
16:05: (12) Wells Lyrical (1st @ 8/1)
16.40: (8) Majeen (Lost)

Fingers Crossed

There is a major problem with sharing placepot tips people! If you post your selections & lots of people on OLBG use them & it comes in then the payout is going to be less as there are more winning tickets to split the pot between

Instead of beating the bookies we could be taking money off each other!

Sorry if this is a selfish opinion! Confused

I like the look of your Donny selections Zipster! Laughing

I reckon you could be right Zipster maybe it is just better to go with one selection per race.

This came about from my trying to find some value and consistent place only bets. Then I got excited cos' I noticed I got the placepot and quadpot a couple of times. 1st and started dreaming of beating the old credit crunch. Laughing

But I think I can identify dodgy selections and wouldn't necessarily try and go for every meeting. So maybe I should only play when I think they all look good.

Crashed out in the first at Wolves tonight Crying or Very sad
