| Was just wondering what your thinking about a couple of new extras, these being, forecast and tricast betting on horses and scorecast betting on football? |

Forecast and Tricast Betting
There are 3 reasons why I dont really want to do this
1. Its a huge development project to have tips that involve multiple selections
2. Collecting tote returns etc adds more time to what is becoming an increasingly onerous tip scoring process
3. It adds too much of a luck element to the competition so that if one person is rubbish all month but then gets lucky in a tricast then they win the competition - I dont want to do that either.
So I'll not say never to the forecast, but I dont see the tricast being feasible, at least not while this is a free to enter competition.
Scorecast
I dont have data on odds for that + even if I did there are so many permutations that it would slow the site down too much for the beneift it would offer. In addition the same arguments on development effort and "getting lucky" apply as above. |
