Portugal V Holland
I have to agree with you Welshie, I cant see why anyone would back Holland. I actually fancied them to win the tournament in the run up to it but went off them thank god. Aswell as the points Welshie has made, the carry on out of their players is crazy. There seems to be alot of primadonnas in the team. Robben carried on like a spoilt child against the Germans when he was subbed. Then Huntelaar and Van der vaart moaning about not starting against the Danes. They obviously have very little respect for bert van marwijk. I wouldnt touch them with a bargepole. My selections are based solely on the carry on out of their players
Portugal to win 2-1 and Ronaldo 1st goal @ 51
Both teams to score @1.67
Someone to be sent off @ ?
I think the Dutch players tempers may boil over as it hasn't been going their way
Be lucky |

Holland vs Portugal - BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE & OVER 2.5 GOALS & DRAW
"This has been a successful bet so far and it looks worth siding with in this game. It could go either way and im not sure which yet but Holland have a tough task on after their awful displays. They have had problems off the pitch aswell with players falling out. Robben doesnt deserve a place in the side and if the manager has any guts he will leave him out. Van Bommel hasnt been good enough either but he may stick with him for his experiance. It was interesting to see the Holland players seemed to pull together after Robben was taken off and they improved. They need a win and a good one so i expect Van Persie and Huntelaar both to start. Those two and Sneijder will be a handful for portugal. Portugal will be full of confidence after their late winner against denmark. They do look vulnerable at the back but with Ronaldo and Nnai they will be dangerous on the counter. Holland will be going for the win but have been poor at the back. They look good to concede but i expect them to score aswell. "
BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
OVERS
DRAW

Think Portugal will either win or draw this one. They've only lost once to the Netherlands in the last ten matches and are the only team not to have been eliminated at the group stage. They also have a good defensive record against the Dutch and I can see the weak Ditch defence being very exposed with the attacking set-up they are putting out. Think goals will be aplenty tonight!
Good luck! |

| Portugal don't really impress me in open play - the midfielders always seem disconnected to their forwards - but they have looked very dangerous at set pieces. Holland will get their passing game going with the players they have put out and should breach Portugal's defense while the Portugese will get conditions to suit with their long balls up to Ronaldo and Coentrao's runs forward. Overs looks likely in this game. |

Thought the Dutch would struggle - lots of individual flare but no team players as such. Had Ronaldo to score twice as well |
