Got to be on over 2.5 goals in this game having watched both teams opening matches so far. Holland don't look good at all in defence whilst Portugal's strength in definitely attacking (despite Helder Postiga!)
Interesting to see if Huntelaar starts. |

I really fancy Holland to win this one, they have quality all over the park and Robben should see more of the ball than he did against the germans so expect him to create chances, can't be a bad bet to score anytime either.
I also think over 2.5 is a good bet, both teams need something out of the game especially the dutch who must win so it should be an open game.
Holland 17/10
Over 2.5 4/5 _________________ Moden Warefare Pro 11th lvl70 |

Holland 13/8!
I couldn't ask for more, what a price! They are much the better side then Portugal and will go all guns blazing for them. Especially if Huntelaar plays I really fancy there chances. Come on Oranje! _________________ brewsty39 |

Yes, Holland have better quality players but I don't think they are a better team, if you know what I mean.
The camp at Oranje is in shambles and I expect a panic decision by van Marwijk to play all the big guns from the start. This will play to Portugal's hands who look like a side, which is tactically very mature. Ronaldo has been off pace so far, but surely he can't go 3 matches without a goal. _________________ If you can't beat them, join them. When will the bookies join OLBG? |

He's done it before? Ronaldo is a player of immense quality, but what has always seperated Messi from him is his consistency on the big stage.
It's a must win for Holland, and I saw enough in the second half of the Germany game from them to believe that they can wipe the floor with what Ibelieve to be a very average Portugal side. Players like Meireles just can't cut it at this level, very average.
It is a risk backing them, but at 13/8 I can have a dabble. _________________ brewsty39 |

Really like Holland here but feel they have to score early for success, they have had really good chances early in games and missed them and cost them dearly with the other teams coming back and scoring
I think Holland will start two up top and see a attacking lineup going forwarx of Robben,Vdv,Sneijder,Van Persie and Huntelaar and see the Portuguese back four struggling to handle them and one defender in particular and that is Pepe,he is very good but one dirty player and will do anything to stop them and he will get booked no doubt
Pepe to be booked 2/1 NAP
Done eight bets with Blue Square on my mobile and money back on them if Ronaldo scores at anytime
Huntelaar to score 12/5 NB
Huntelaar to score a header 6/1
Huntelaar to hit woodwork 13/2
Robben to hit woodwork 7/1
Robben to score outside the box 14/1
Van Persie to hit woodwork 11/2
Ronaldo to hit the woodwork 11/2
Ronaldo to score outside the box 11/2 |

A couple of specials from PaddyPower and SportingBet that stand out for me:
Ronaldo to score outside the box - 10/1 @ SportingBet
Don't think this really needs to much reasoning, his finishing was poor against Denmark, maybe he should stick to shots from outside the area This looks a big price to me, considering PP go 17/2 and 888 go 11/2! Stekelenburg is a decent keeper but he didn't exactly cover himself in glory when Gomez scored his second and surely Ronaldo will get a few chances to fire some shots away with the Dutch defence being so poor.
Sneijder to score outside the box - 16/1 @ PaddyPower
He has had a few already in the tournament but maybe not as many as you would hope, he knows this is do or die for the Dutch now and we should see him playing further up the pitch as the game goes on, knowing that they have to beat Portugal by at least 2 goals to have any chance of qualification. Definately worth a couple of quid at this price I think.
A goal to be scored from the 81st minute to the end of regular time - 6/4 @ PaddyPower NAP
This looks a great bet to me, both teams need a result here and at least one team will be throwing the kitchen sink at it at this time in the game regardless of the score. Even if one team is defending their lead the other will be pushing defenders up to try and get the goal, leaving gaps for the counter attack and when you have players like Nani, Ronaldo, Robben, Van Persie, Sneijder etc a goal one way or the other looks extremely likely to me. |

We do mate and always the value bets and can make many and one will bring profit or near what you staked
Anyone think Holland are big at 6/1 to qualify
I think Germany will beat the Danes and then Holland have to win by two clear goals and are no doubt going to find the net after being goal shy in the first two games
Thy should have hit many against Denmark and despite Germany beating them easily they had the two best chances first and if they scored them ot could have been a different story
Holland should play two up top which will make them more threatening |

As pointed out in another thread, you can back Holland-1 and Germany double @ 8.75 on StanJames, which is basically the same bet |

Seem like a lot of you fancy Holland, but I'm just wondering have you actually seen them play? In the first match they created so many chances yes, but were incredibly wasteful, and against Germany it was like men against boys, the Germans were that dominant.
Holland's defence just isn't good enough in my opinion, the left back especially could be having nightmares against Ronaldo and Nani tonight. Other than Sneijder, I've seen nothing from them in midfield, and bar bringing Van der Vaart and Huntelaar on, there's not many options available to the manager to change things around.
I'm not saying Portugal are going to win tonight, I'm undecided on this match, but a lot of you guys seem confident of a Dutch win. They still have a chance to qualify, but so do the opponents. Even if Portugal leave themselves open, the Dutch for me don't have enough to keep them out. _________________ Football and Boxing expert. |
