I wasn't too impressed by France against England, for all that possession did they even have a shot from inside the box? Can't see them scoring too many against Ukraine who are hard to judge from their opening match as I'm not sure Sweden were too good either. Given the odds I'll be chancing the draw and 1-1 in the correct score market.
What are everyone else's thoughts on this game? |

I agree with monkey - I thought the French were disappointing but I guess England were set up to frustrate them. Perhaps Ukraine will provide more of an open game and that might help the French who surely must go for the win but I don't think I would fancy backing them at around 11/10.
The draw looks a decent call in this game to me. |

| I think France will outclass Ukraine and like the England game I cant believe you can get 11/10 on them, France outplayed England for large parts and I can't see Ukraine being as organised as England also Ukraine know a draw would do which could affect there approach to the game I just think the front three of France will have to much for them I expect a comfortable win for France. |

Going for a france win today.I do think they will have alot more than ukraine. Im sure people will say that they won their opening game but in my opinion i ranked ukraine in the same catagory as ireland with no hope of progression to the next round. France should have more than enough to see of ukraine tonight
HT France FT France @ 5/2
Karim Benzema to score 1st @ 11/2
over 2.5 goals @ 23/20
Good Luck Have Fun

In my opinion, the best bet would be a double chance France or draw as Laurent Blancs side are unbeaten in their last 22 games and defeated teams like Brazil and Germany in recent friendlies. I can't see Ukraine ending that run. Ok, they beat Sweden but the swedes really are the weakest team in the group.
Personnally I'd go for the draw as that would be a very good result for the ukrainians before their last game against England. For France that result wouldn't be great but they'd be in with a great chance against Sweden and a win would almost ensure them with one of the two seats for the quarter finals, though finishing second would mean playing Spain in the quarter finals. |

I thought Ukraine played very open against sweden so this will be a very different game for France than Englands cautious safe style of play.
Both teams have goal threat so I think the 1.8 about over 2 goals looks a decent play. Not many games have been under 2 yet, and these 2nd round games in particular can be a lot more open than the first rounds where all teams are trying not to lose. |

| Too true Antony. Ukraine won't play as defensively against France as the fans won't allow it which means more open play for Benzema who likes having a little space upfront. |

Just heard on the french news that Menez could replace Nasri in France's lineup as to give a little more speed to the french attack as the ukrainians are quite slow defensively. M'Vila (back from injury) is sure to replace Diarra at the back.
To give a little more info, the french have never lost against Ukraine. |

Interesting bet you can find to today is France to score more than Sweden. I fully Expect the English to Lay defensivle so can't see Sweden score more than one, but France being much better than Ukraine I expect them to get at least 2.
It's available for around evens. _________________ If you can't beat them, join them. When will the bookies join OLBG? |
