Well I don't think many will be backing Ireland after their opening performance but then again the odds on Spain are very skinny considering they weren't that great against Italy. Ireland's defending looked very poor against Croatia for a team that has built a bit of a reputation for being good at defending in recent years and I'd expect Spain to score at least three. I wouldn't completely rule out Ireland scoring from a set piece either so over 2.5 goals has to be a bet whilst I think both teams to score at around 13/8 looks good too.

I thought ireland really struggle against Crotia in the air last night, needless to say that won't happen against Spain. I fancy a few euro on Ireland on the handicap here depending on what the handicappers decide Smile

I think this match wont be as easy for spain as many people think. After irelands loss to croatia i can see them putting on a gritty display they will stifle the middle of the pitch hopefully not allowing spain to play through them.Play a long ball tactics to a lone strike irelands strength is an ariel game.Back unders.

Spain Vs Ireland - SPAIN WIN & SPAIN -1.50 (AH) & SPAIN WIN TO NIL
"Ireland need to beat Spain here but it doesnt look likely does it. They didnt defend well against Croatia and gave them far too kmuch room in midfield. If they give Spain that much room they will get a hell of a beating here. Im sure they will look to frustrate spain but i just cant see how Oshea, Dunne, Ward etc can cope at the back. They could be a threat at set pieces with their height over the spaniards but they have a job on. Spain found Italy a tough but to crack in their first game but didnt start with a recognised striker. That was a silly move by Vicente del Bosque who should give Torres a chance tonight. Iniesta and Silva will look to make runs into the box but Torres will be desperate to find his scoring form. Those three will cause so many problems for ireland. 3-0"

fancy spain to win here so im going for a few bets which in my opinion should come in!

Spain to win in both halfes @ 13/8

Over 3 goals in game @ 20/10

TORRES OR LLORENTE TO SCORE 2 GOALS OR MORE @ 11/2
(depending if one of them starts ahead of the other)

EDIT TORRES STARTS AHEAD OF LLORENTE SO TORRES TO SCORE 2 OR MORE @ 11/2

Good luck Have Fun

Simon Cox starts and when he came on against Croatia he was so aggressive and up for it and lucky not to have been booked

I think he will be well frustrated tonight as he will not be seeing the ball much so will come deep and try and get it off the spanish midfield which i doubt he will and see him making silly clumsy challenges and often and see the ref losing patience with him

Bet of the night and tournament for me so far is Torres to score, many will say its risky and been poor for some time but looked so sharp and getting in good positions but missing many but he should get seven or eight chances tonight and must out one away

Simon Cox to be booked 4/1
Fernando Torres to score 6/5 NAP
