Hmm, interesting decision, although even though there's no direct front men there, I see about three/four who easily have goal-scoring skills. It's likely this is to counter Italy's five across the middle and still leave scope to score.

I have spoken to Mercer a few times and i am pretty sure he knows i wasn't having a proper dig at him, and i know he is entitled to his opinion.

looks like spain will play attacking and open, over 2.5 goals a stunning 2.7 the bet for me, rekon VC be paid out by 60 mins.

What difference does it make wheather they have an out and out stiker on the pitch? They'll be camped on the edge of the italy box for maost of the game anyway, who needs a Llorente or Torres to hold it up there? There's plenty of players in the strating 11 who are peectly capable of scoring, it'll also mean there will be players switching positions everywhere

spain are just one final touch away fromn the goal, i think they have gone with best team dont needd a proper front man with the ball skills of those midfielders.

No outlet. They need to change things round coz Italy look better than them for me, and this team should not be outplayed.

When you have players like Iniesta you always carry a threat, however, by the looks of things today with players like Silva you can guarantee the threat will not be converted. He's been really wasteful.
