| What i mean is that i don't know why everytime England go into a major tournament we have to pinpoint some sort of footballing guru that will single handedly win us the tournament and carry the whole countries hopes on his shoulders. |
An excellent point fluffnut, with the press and tv they have to fill time and columns so i reckon at least 50% of reporting it is just headline grabbing.
More importantly as we have seen in other games ALL 11 players on the pitch will need to perform well - and make no mistakes. Supporting each other when they do or dont have the ball. It will be down to tactics and not one individual. It will be interesting to see whether Roy Hodgsons style of play has been taken on board by all the players. At this level you cannot afford to give the ball away.
I am finding this game incredibly hard to call. |

| Its going to be a tight game and hopefully we can sneak a victory. I'm having a few ££s on gerrard 1st goalscorer. Stan James 14/1 looks nice especially as he's our penalty taker. |

We have a decent back 5 and we typically score early at the start of tournaments
Oxlade-chamberlain will scare the life out of the French defence and I'm tipping him to score 1st and England to win 2-1 90/1 with SkyBet
Good luck everyone and good luck England |

England v France
this should be very exciting! both teams have got loads of pace up front and that is a worry having Terry playing.
i can see England giving as good as they get and this game shouldn't be a siege like the dutch and Spanish game.
France are gonna be vulnerable to Englands front three pace men and wont be to high up the pitch.
i can see this a bit like a boxing match, Ox, welbeck and young running the french defense ragged. then when they are on the ropes, Hodgson bringing on ...Dowling, walcott and Caroll to deal the coup de grace!
i fancy an early goal in this one cos i feel both defenses have a weak link (Terry, Mexes) which could lead to a penalty!
Nasi with his liking for a pop from outside the box
Welbeck is in good form and with team mate young feeding him could easily score a couple tonight.
Nasri first scorer @12/1 and anytime @5/1
Welbeck first scorer @ 9/1 and anytime @7/2 and to score 2 or more @45/1
correct score 3-1 England @35/1 + France @25/1
correct score 3-2 England @55/1 + France @45/1
first goal 1 to 10th minute @9/2 and 11th to 20th minute @9/2
Penalty scored first half @9/1
bonus bet... Lescott for man of the match @25/1
good luck with your bets and C'MON ENGERRRRRLAND! _________________ Never pay for tips, Why would you?.

i must be one of few french fans on here, from my side i see a more united french side with a good 11, england can do something if they get it right, but on form and with the players at their disposal the french should be coming out on top.
agree ox over downing on this seasons form, the pace is needed too |
