Having looked through the fixtures, I feel there is not that many great value bets on offer.
Alot of one's you could take a chance on but the odds don't look tempting enough
ie. Blackburn - Home win
A Villa - Away win
Port V Man U - Draw
So, I'll look to the AGS market where there maybe some value
Man City V West Ham
This like quite a few games seems difficult to call but I feel there maybe some goals during the 90mins. West Ham won there first game but didn't over impress and I feel will struggle at the back this year. Likewise Man City played quite poor during there opening game but may fair a little better at home. Goals for Man City I can see arriving from the midfield, as they have virtually no strikers available.Elano has to be considered but during pre-season one man was consistantly getting involved in the goals from midfield - M Petrov. He had a decent scoring record last year but there could be more to come this year. Small stakes on this type of bet.
Week 2 Bet
M Petrov AGS @ 4/1 Paddy Power, William Hill
Stake - £50
Closing Balance - £150

Oh well, the width of a goal post stopped me from collecting quite a speculative punt.
Maybe I should've been more conservative and went with Elano

West Ham V Blackburn
West Ham are in disarray at the minute and it could be the time to get on the opposition. Blackburn not the worst side in the league and have decent enough players going forward to cause the Hammers problems.
Week 3 Bet
Blackburn @ 2/1
Stake - £100
Closing Balance - £150 |

Another loser!
West Ham win 4-1 but that doesn't tell the full picture, there keeper gets the man of the match!
Anyway not too much damage done.
Internationals next up... possible small stakes on a juicy price
Overall Profit: -£150

I've been extremely busy over the past couple of weeks.
Again I'm leaving it to the last minute this week.
Week 4 Bet
** No Bet **
Closing Balance - £350
Week 5 Bet
Tottenham V A Villa
I can see quite an open game with alot of goal mouth action. So, again I'm going to have another speculative punt in the AGS market. One bet stands out to me with value at the price. M Laursen I'm quite sure will get in on the goals this season and lets hope it is tonight again.
Week 5 Bet
M Laursen AGS @ 10/1 William Hill
Stake - £50
Closing Balance - £400 |

Week 7 Bet
Middlesboro V West Brom
Middlesboro's form has been quite solid this year so far, although not all there results have reflected this. Home advantage should be able to see them past a West Brom team who still seem to be trying to find there feet at this level.
Week 7 Bet
Middlesboro @ 5/6 William Hill
Stake - £200
Closing Balance - £300 |

Week 8
Opening Balance - £400
Week 8 Bet
West Ham V Bolton
West Ham's form since the arrival of Zola has been pretty impressive. Even before his arrival there home form was always quite solid. I'm hoping that Bolton's last performance at Old Trafford may have taken a little out of them.
Week 8 Bet
West Ham @ 5/6 William Hill
Stake - £300
Closing Balance - £100 |
