Last two weeks have been absolutely killer especially the bet on Wigan last time... :rant:
...but hopefully I can get back with a winner this evening.
Been debating between Wigan, Sunderland and Man City (all DNB) for this one and have settled on:
Man City (+0.0) @ 1.80
Middlesbrough are a very inconsistent team so could turn up here and win convincingly or else get absolutely hammered. City have a very talented squad and they seem to have gelled nicely together pretty quickly. They have been getting some good results of late and should be good enough to beat Boro this evening. Taking the safety of the DNB here though after the way things have gone for me the last two bets.

Right, went a bit mad there but refocused now...
Balance (week 12): £100
Bet = BLACKBURN to beat West Brom @ 2.90
Stake = £100
West Brom started the season well enough but have lost their last 3 games and Blackburn are decent value here to make that 4 in a row. West Brom haven't been great at the Hawthorns this year losing 3 of their 5 league games there and if Blackburn have any aspirations of European qualification this year then they will have to win games like this. They have been playing well of late and deserved more than just 2 points from their last 4 games. They are missing Santa Cruz here but Benni McCarthy has come in and played very well so along with Derbyshire and Roberts they should be well capable of getting one or two against a weak enough West Brom defence. _________________ National Hunt Beginners Guide |

* Hope it's ok carry on after missing a few weeks.
Week 18 Balance: £300
Blackburn (+0.5) @ 1.82 (Canbet)
Paul Ince is under pressure to start getting some results and although away to Wigan will be a tricky enough game it is certainly one that the Blackburn boss will feel his side are capable of winning. Blackburn have been losing a lot lately but in all honesty they haven't been playing that badly and deserve to have picked up more points lately. They face a Wigan side on Saturday who lost for the first time in 6 games last weekend when losing out to Arsenal but that defeat will have dampened their confidence a bit and Blackburn should at least get a draw from this game in my opinion if they play anywhere like they can and get a bit of luck - or should I say don't get any bad luck.
