Will be very surprised if Keith Hill still has a job in the morning!
No win in the last ten home games and only 5 wins all season.
Fair enough on a limited budget, but he is tactically naive and does not no his best side.
2 player's at least to move on in the transfer window.
The writing is on the wall!

what about Sean O'Driscoll? I bet he'll be desperate to get back into football, worked in Yorkshire before with Doncaster, hard to say really though. Would be a perfect job for Phil Brown in my opinion. _________________ Football and Boxing expert. |

As a Barnsley fan i'll give my two penneth :-
Hill had to go some of the stuff he has been coming out with in the local press has been ridiculous "keeping Barnsley up would be like walking the Niagara Falls on a tightrope with your legs in plaster" etc etc.
He had done a decent job on very very limited resources but after losing Butterfield, Drinkwater and Vas Te at around this time last year he has struggled and has often alienated himself from the fans.
Decisions like paying Mido a reported £4000 a week when he knew he wasn't fit and ultimately getting 20 mins out of him have cost him.
As far as the new manager :-
NEIL REDFEARN - Voted Barnsleys best ever player, fans would love to see him manage the club at some stage but would be a massive gamble in terms of experience at this time but on the positive would probably not cost the club much.
GARY MEGSON - Can't see it, Wednesday through and through and that wouldn't sit well with Barnsley fans.
PHIL BROWN - Not sure we can afford him, heard him on radio talking about the Blackburn job and would want money in January which we simply don't have.
SEAN O'DRISCOLL - Would be my choice and the choice of most fans I have spoke to, did a fantastic job at Donny on similar resources and plays football they right way. _________________ Horse Racing One A Day Winner April 11

What price is Andy Payton?????
Not sure whether he has his coaching badges or not but he had a great spell at the club in the mid 90's scoring over 40 goals in less than 110 games and was loved by the fans _________________ My Twitter Page = Toonmick70

Neil Redfearn took Scarborough down and then kept them there.....not the guy to get you out of a hole...
Brown or O Driscoll.....
Possibly O Driscoll as the sackings are nicely timed... |

| An outside shot but What about Gerry Taggert. Worked under some great managers including Martin O'Neil. Currently getting coaching experience with Paul Dickov at Oldham. Barnsley legend!! |
