Hi all.
Last season, I placed series of E/W ante-post accumulator bets which included West Ham as banker. This was at a time when the E/W bet was for 1st and 2nd place only. As we all know they didn’t win or even come second (I lost a lot of money as they were the only team to let me down). I started feeling as the season progressed that they were not going to make it.

I am quite new to betting , but of late I’ve been reading about “TRADING BETS” on this great forum- OLBG.

This season I placed 5 E/W anti-post accumulator bets which included Wayne Rooney as top goalscorer. Now I wish I hadn’t included him.

I will be grateful if someone can please explain to me how to remove selections from my ante-post accumulator bets as the season progresses, and which bookies offer these bets.

ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED. THANKS

Hi mikemum

Laying off parts of this bet is going to be difficult as it is an accumulator.

It is possible to Lay off accumulators as each leg finishes.

Say for instance you had backed Team A, B and C to win at 10/1 with 10 points.

Team A wins and you still have the other 2 bets to run.

Team B have odds of even money to win their game so what you can now do is Lay them so that if they don't win you at least lock in some profit.

You still have the accumulator running so if they do win you only need the final team (C) to win to win your accumulator.

So you maximum win could be 10 x 10 = 100

So if we now look at laying Team B for 25 points your liability would be 25 points (even money) if they win you loose 25 points but your accumulator is still alive and its potential payout is now 75 points (100 - 25 that you have just lost).

If they lose you win 25 points which would give you 15 points return overall (25 - 10 points originally stakes on your accumulator).

You can then continue to do this for every leg of the accumulator.

This only really works if the original odds taken are enhanced enough so that you can cover all legs on the Lay side and of course each leg has to finish at different times.

Without knowing the mechanics of the bet that you have done and where you are in terms of its success so far it is not really possible for me to advise, if you want to put the details up (excluding £ values) then please do so and we can take a look, alternatively send it to me via pm.

Hope you can understand this, if not please ask.
