Has anyone looked at or have any thoughts on the Swindon v Brighton game tonight on Sky?
Di Canio has built a solid defence with Swindon last season only conceding 32 in 46 games and conceded none in the last 9 games but of course this was in League 2.
Brighton are a championship side but struggled to score away from home last season only scoring 16 goals in 23 compared with 36 at home from 23. I havent seen Brighton strengthen their front line this summer and Craig Mckail-smith is injured although Ashley Barnes is their main striker it does leaves them short with options.
Swindon are 2/1 @ BV and are 11/4 to keep a clean sheet? Or you could go for Swindon to win and keep a clean sheet at 4/1?
What do people think about the odds Swindon(2/1) D(23/10) Brighton(7/5) ?
Anyone see any value in Swindon? |

Peterborough V Southend
A couple of points you may want to bear in mind with this game.
Southend will be playing their 18 year old keeper Daniel Bentley as they haven't signed a new keeper yet, may want to keep this in mind for the weekend too if one isn't signed.
7 of the last 10 League Cup ties involving Southend have gone to extra time, since a 1-0 extra time win for Spurs in 06. _________________ Check out my Golf Blog

Plymouth v portsmouth, Portsmouth have no senior players to pick team from and have to use youth team and acadamey players. big bet on plymouth. Plymouth have also made a few good signings during the transfer window.
BIG BET ON PLYMOUTH |

Northampton v Cardiff.
Northampton's first choice keeper is injured until October, and they didn't have the funds to sign one short term. Their only other keeper is the youth keeper, so they've signed Lee Nicholls from Wigan on loan for a couple of months. He won't be playing tonight as we don't want him cup tied when he returns, so it looks like they'll be forced to play their young keeper tonight. _________________ D.Rogerson's Ratings
