Cluj's motivation is high after an excellent victory in the Czech Republic and now are much better than your opponent, last year the Cluj won both games against Otelul and it seems to me that this year the difference between the two teams is even greater since the Cluj stepped up to try and access the league millionaire while the Otelul has had some financial problems as the club owners do not want to invest the money earned from the champions League last season, so it will be a game with some favoritism toward the visitors' full of moral that may very well win again on the grounds of Otelul, however it is best to go with some security as a tie could happen.

Oldham v Sheffield Wed

Had a decent weekend so thought what the heck lets jinx myself and tip on here.

The one price that stands out is over 45 booking points with hills at 7/2 that is a huuuuge price, I mean it is a total 50/50 it could be a war or it could be a quite affair but at that price it's worth a punt, charity shields are usually nice days out and that ended up being a card fest yesterday so you never know.

A gamble but 7/2 is worth a punt.

Having watched the League cup results in utter shock on Saturday(lost a fairly decent amount backing the so "favourites",of the 7 teams i picked only Leeds & Middlesborough won the rest had draws.Sheffield Utd & Wolves were the most shocking,getting draws against clubs 2 divisions below them :x ) am hoping the so called "bigger teams" today had a wake up call following Weekend results and will take the opposition more seriously than the would have done if they played at the Weekend(Blackpool lost to Morecambe Shocked

) fancy Nott Forest,Sheff Wed,Huddersfield,Dyanamo Dresden,Cork City/St Patrick-Draw. Will wait to see what teams will be put out before having a punt. Will write my reasoning when i get a bit more time.

A lot of Championship sides struggled over the weekend, the fact it's the first match for everyone is somewhat a leveller.

Looking at pre season I think Oldham and Preston might pull off upsets tonight, but they don't really fit my criteria in terms of having a bet.

Thanks to OLBG for putting some odds up for this week's Capital One Cup btw, there wasnt any for the weekend matches.

Against the market, I'm backing Esbjerg to win this battle of the two promoted teams. Randers have enjoyed the better start to life in the top flight, but last season's form suggests the away side should have too much for the hosts: Esbjerg were promoted as champions, 17pts clear of Randers in second place. Odds of over 3 about the away side look exceptional value to me.

If you want insurance against Randers scoring first back 1-1 to cover your stake: 6pts Esbjerg to win @ 3.05, 1pt 1-1 @ 7.6

As a preston fan i dont think there will be many goals in this match. Should be a close encounter so i will be doing under 2.5 @ 5/6.
Doing both teams to score in Fleetwood and Oldham game aswel.
Not had much luck for a while apart from doing a couple of Mercers tips
