What do people feel about this market?
I got Laudrup on board when he was 18/1. For some reason (maybe bcause racing post tip him) he's now 14 and 7 in places.
I feel the pressure could really be on Di Matteo if they don't win in first 2 or 3. Alot of money spent and we know what Roman's like.
I think Adkins will be ok but talk is Southampton owners want a bigger name. They have a tough start so maybe 8/1 is worth a nibble? |

Laudrup has only just got the job and i can seeing him in the post for the entire season so he is not a bet for me
The same goes for Robbie, the pressure for too much for Abramovich not to give him the job after he guided the blues to the Champions League, he will only get rid if Chelsea have a disaster and i cannot see that happening with some good players bought.
Martin O'Neill would be a decent bet for me @ a massive 40/1, the Mackems started well under his reign then faltered and have not bought anybody of any stature so far during the window.
If they decide to pay the massively overpriced fee for Steven Fletcher and he struggles then i can see the unfaithful mackem fans starting to stay away, like they always do
Good luck anyway with your bets |

Got to agree here micko, he hasn't spent and if he is not given any money before the end of August we all know how he can throw his toys out of the pram.
The other one for me would be Mark Hughes, spent a lot and if it doesn't work quickly they are known to change the boss at a whim. |

Roberto Martinez at Wigan. Ladbrokes have him at 8/1
Last season his chairman publicly criticised his team selection for an important game (can't remember who it was against).
Victor Moses is likely to be sold to Chelsea, he was one of the few outstanding players last season.
Wigan have only just avoided relegation for the last two seasons. |

Yet Dave Whelan and Roberto Martinez have a great relationship. Whelan has always backed Martinez when the side looked have been in trouble and Martinez always repays his faith by getting them safe.
Despite Whelan's criticism of that line-up he also publicly stated his desire to remain out of team affairs and always says that side of things his down to his manager.
If he was ever to get rid I believe he would do it at the end of a season rather than during. _________________ @ KanKeano_OLBG | Twitter |

| Can't see Whelan sacking RM as he could get a few million compensation most close seasons of late if you believe what Mr Whelan says |

I'll have to go with the bookies fav on this and go for big sam to be the first one to be shown the door.
I'm sure they'll be happy with the fixtures for the beginning of the season but i just can't see anyone getting the goals for them so they'll struggle and will be down near the relegation zone for majority of the season....he'll be gone before xmas!!! |

| 8/1 Mark Hughes with Paddy Power is trumped by Stan James who bet 20/1 – for me the 20/1 looks worth a small bet |

Mark Hughes will be all the talk today, currently 11 with SkyBet, Brendan Rogers is 11 with BetVictor but the clear fav is poor old Nigel Adkins @ 4 with BetVictor before his side have even kicked a ball in anger.
Hughes is probably on a few more bad results away, they play Norwich away next weekend and a loss there could see his price shorten much further.
AVB @ 26 with BetVictor needs keeping any eye on (if you have a BetVictor account that is) as he is as low as 17 with SkyBet
Who would be a manager eh |
