4) Akropolis v BK Forward
5) Dalkurd ff v Syrianska if Kerburan
6) Lunds Bk v Orgryte
7) Karlstad Bk v Gauthiod
8) Kristianstad v Utsiktends Bk
9) Skovde Aik v Limhamm Bunkeflo

also, if you can point me to a website to comprehensively looks at Swedish soccer, I would be greatful. Thanks gents.

Hi Gouldy. I went on there, as well as soccervista, soccerstats, scibet and all the stats pointed me in one direction, only for results to be shockers. This has happened 3 weeks in a rownow. Results have not gone according to form/stats and due to there not being any following of Scandinavian footie in SA media, I don't know why. Im even looking for a website that can tell me news about swedish leagues, so I can learn and find out what is going on.

Traditionally (in my opinion) Swedish football tends to be similar to the Championship in the UK. That being that their are a number of unpredictable results frequently. If you like to back an outsider this is one of the leagues (both Allsvenskan and Superettan) to get involved in.

I think that even for a swede you have to be a local to any of these teams to give a good advice. From local newspapers and so on.
Our media is just filled with speculation about EURO2012 and transfers from top leagues. Our Allsvenskan have a break due to EURO2012.

tomorrow Trelleborgs play Landskrona and i was interested to discover that Landskrona are managed by Henrik Larsson, i was surprised that such a famous player is manager of a team i had never heard of but reading wikipedia it explains that Landskrona is near where he comes from. this is his 3rd year in charge but it sounds as if it hasn't been plain sailing although they are challenging for promotion this season after 10 games.

Trelleborgs were relegated from Allsvenskan last season, i remember they were involved in some high scoring games last season at one stage. but they have started poorly this season with only 1 win in 9 matches and that was at home to the team who are currently bottom. despite this Trelleborgs are favourites on Betfair at about 2.4 but this is probably because Landskrona have only won 1 out of 5 away matches this season.

these are the 2 southern most teams in Superettan and not far away from each other so probably a bit of a local derby.

It's a difficult League to crack. I exchanged some e-mails with Djurgarden earlier in the year but none of the other teams were willing to play ball in anyway. I even offered some incentives. I have had much more success in the Finnish Leagues where VPS Vassa, MyPA, TPS and FC Inter have all been willing to hold discussions with me. Although I could never even get a response from Triple Champions HJK Helsinki. Not easy, I will say that much.

Hi, I'm from Sweden. Cool

Allsvenskan (top league) is normally very unpredictable (a punters dream, or nightmare depending on how you play it) and about every team can beat any other team. Home or away doesn't matter much either, I'm afraid.

You should rely mostly on current form and overall ability.

The best teams in the league are: Elfsborg, Malmö, IFK Göteborg (Gothenburg) and Helsingborg
Of those, Elfsborg are clearly in the lead while IFK Göteborg has done less than expected. (Göteborg has a very good squad and lots of draws though, so watch out when the tide turns for them!)

Superettan is about as difficult to predict, although the teams at the top of the table generally beats the teams at the bottom, that's for sure.

Best teams are: Öster, Halmstad and Brommapojkarna (BP)

Hope that was any help for you!

Now, if someone could point me to a good site for football results statistics I would be more than happy! (ie. not win/draw/lose but rather % of games ending 1-0, 2-0, 2-1 etc) Thank you in advance!

(Edit: typo)
