Norwich want be going down now.
With Chris Hughton taking over, must be another top 10 finish.
As Chris does well with the clubs he been to.
Now to see who Chris will buy in the summer now.
Wonder what odds Norwich not to go down
And get a place in Europe. |

33/1 in most places and 45/1 with Betfair Aldershot Town seem value in league 2. They finished the season with just four defeats in their last 21 matches winning 11 of those. During the season they did the double over Southend and Bristol Rovers, took 4 points off Crewe and beat Swindon at home.
Its no coincidence that their form improved when the extra firepower of Guy Madjo was added to the team in January(8 goals in 15 matches) to partner Danny Hylton who finished the season with 16 in 48. Peter Vincenti chips in on a regular basis and Wilko Risser has scored 3 in 9 since joining. Hylton is suspended for the first 8 mathes of next season though.
Other notable scalps from higher divisions last season are West Ham, Carlisle and Rochdale in cup matches.
These prices seem big taking all this into account.
33/1 to 45/1 Champions
15/2 Bet 3 65 Promotion
1.95 Betfair Top 7 finish |

Folks,
I'm going to be posting my findings about the Scottish leagues in the next couple of weeks. As of yet I have no idea which league Rangers will be in!
Peterhead mentioned already and they could do well. Jim McInally got to the play offs two out of three seasons with East Stirling and did well when he took overPeterhead last season. If they keep Rory McAlister they'll be up there but I know when he wasn't doing well last season there was talk of him being loaned to Brechin.
Initially I really liked Queens Park. In Richard Little they had one of the leagues best defenders and Jamie Longworth has rattled in plenty of goals at the other end. Daryll Meggat, another quality defender left for Airdrie but they've kept most of the squad who just missed out on promotion last season.
Anyway, still not sure who to back but I'll post some findings in a blog I'm planning on starting on here about Scottish football called It's Grim Up North!
Just need to wait until this Rangers thing is sorted!!! |

My team Wolves should really be challenging for promotion next season. New manager and first team coach bringing much needed fresh ideas to the team and will have a strong squad, even if Fletcher and / or Jarvis leave. There is no pressure to sell players either. _________________ Pride of the Black Country |

Ill wait to make my selections, all depends who strengthens.
Although saying that West Brom to get relegated looks possible, poor choice of manager which screams no money. |

Birmingham City
Please keep hold of your money!!
The club have just 14 professionals left and are currently unable to sign players due to embargo. They still haven't produced their last set of accounts and the owner is currentently awaiting trail in Hong Kong.
There is a real possibility of administration. |

| PSG to win the league and Norwich to go down 3/1 double. Can't see anyone challenging PSG with Lille and Montpellier losing their best player each, and a good price for Norwich considering they have very few players of high quality and unproven premiership manager. |

| Birmingham were an early thought of mine, well before even Hughton left them. Crossed off the shortlist due to recent goings on! |

Had a quick look through all the posts and noticed that no one has mentioned Leeds and the takeover which will become public this week (fingers crossed). Warnock has sorted the defence out with new signings and if the new owners are who they are rumoured to be then further signings plus Snodgrass and White signing new contracts will be on the horizon as money wont be an issue as it is now under Bates.
Still at 12's with Betfred but as low as 8/1 with SkyBet. _________________ Matchmaker League Cup Winner 2012

First ever post on here...
Still a bit early but i fear for Norwich in the Prem. All three promoted teams have decent managers, Southampton could even be pushing top half which leaves Norwich, Wigan & West Brom hanging over the edge.
Leeds could be a major force in the championship, Warnock won't let them be as slack as last season and if they can make Elland Road a fortress again especially with the new money coming in then promotion might be a good bet though not as overall winners.
Keep an eye on happenings at Derby, it's not a happy place at the moment. Shackell has been sold and the fans are revolting. Davies looks like being the next out the door to balance the books, young players are to be given the chance next season and many locals are fearing a relegation scrap. |
