I hate it when an Arb works out this way. SkyBet gonna be giving me a huge payout if/when Rodgers signs. Surely no suspicion will be raised though. |

Shouldn't be unless you have been arbing with them before in which case you will probably lose your account soon enough _________________ Follow me on Twitter |

Na not for about 15 months now. Plus I always bet the same stake no matter what bookie I am with/no matter what odds I am backing. I like to think I am a smarter arb player than some. Do all the hard work setting the arb up on Betfair.
Well I look wrong with Villas-Boas. But the only thing I was certain on was a young manager which Rodgers is. Looks like this news is the real deal and not a smokescreen like Martinez. |

If Rogers is to get the job i hope he is given a fair crack of the whip by the fans. He has potential. Cant be doing with keep changing of managers. As fans we need to also be realistic in whats achievable. _________________ Watching those snakes !!!!!!!! |

Agree give Rodgers a chance to prove himself.
Hope the American Owners give him more time.
Am sure Rodgers will be taking some of his Swansea players with him.
If he just get the job, good luck hope you do a great job.. |

Press conference hasn't even been held yet and already the Media are stirring up false statements to unsettle Liverpool FC and Bredan Rodgers. Starting with the Mirror it would seem.
We have definitely become a hated figure with the press and I have no idea when they are going to start leaving us alone. We need another club to become there number 1 victim.

Of course they will give him more time IMO. This is their manager this time. And not the fans choice. |

All about results IMHO, if he doesn't deliver he will go the way that others have gone before him, Randy Learner chose Alex McLeish and he certainly wasn't given time, 1 season, poor results = fired.
I would imagine that top 4 is going to be his target and as for how long he has to achieve that who knows but I don't think it will be long.
As for them being hated by the press, sorry but I think you have "King Kenny" to thank for that _________________ Follow me on Twitter |

4th spot is not realistic this year hope they realise that 1st 2nd 3rd all taken leaves 1 space. We just need to be seen to be getting closer to the champ lge again. Need to be realistic. Chelsea City and Manure will all strengthen. Arsenal are Arsenal and Spurs are not to shabby either. The most competitive lge about but Rogers will need time and as said he is the owners choice so he may get a bit more _________________ Watching those snakes !!!!!!!! |

why is 3rd place taken?
Was hardly secured by anyone this season with 4 teams in with a shout with not many games to go and 3 still in with a chance on the final day! |

If you think Liverpool can bridge the gap so soon your deluded just my opinion. Top 3 is clearly between Manure City Chelsea Arsenal and possible Spurs if they have a incredible season. Liverpool hopefully on there tails and it will be progress _________________ Watching those snakes !!!!!!!! |

Personally I can't see the top 3 being anything other than Chelsea, Man City and Man United. Yes, Chelsea finished outside the top 5 this season but they've gone out and already strengthened a strong squad. The additions of Marin and Hazard at the combined transfer cost of £50 million will help. City and United finished over 20pts better off than the rest os us last season and they'll strengthen their squads. Tottenham can only dream about spending the sort of money those three can spend on transfers and wages. We did well this season to finish top 4. It's going to be even harder next season.
I think Rodgers is a decent signing for you. You were never going to get a top notch manager being out of the Champions League but I'd have been happy to see Rodgers rock up at WHL.
Tottenham, Arsenal and maybe Liverpool, Everton and Newcastle are all fighting for one CL spot in my opinion. _________________ @ KanKeano_OLBG | Twitter |
