Juventus. Not in our life time surely. More chance of PSG. Strongest rumours are Man city. I think he should go to Spain but then again the prem needs players of RVP class. Tough one to call but cant blame him for wanting to bag a few trophies and the ££ is a bonus

Van persie would be a big loss but wenger usually gets it right with replacements i did wunder why we had bought two strikers.
Carnt see him going to man utd,id probably guess man city as they have deepest pockets

RVP will be a massive loss not only to Arsenal but the premier league if he decided to move to Spain. I would love to see him at United but really couldn't see that happening - I don't like to say it but I think the only place he would go in England is City. I think Arsenal need to tweak their money policy as its all well and good them being financially sound but if they are losing there big players season after season then there is a problem. I am all for Wengers approach and think its fantastic but like I said it need a slight tweak to allow funds for transfers and to keep top players at the club - after all the money generated by winning the league and qualifying for the Champions league is massive and would easily help to balance the outbound spendings.

Tottenham have finally agreed a deal with Ajax for their captain Jan Vertonghen. He will join Kaboul, Dawson, Caulker & Gallas in the fight for a starting position in central defence.

King has not been offered a new playing contract but if he choose to retire he could be offered a coaching position or a role representing the club in PR role. South African Khumalo has signed with Greek side PAOK on loan for next season whilst Bassong looks like he will be moved on.

David Bentley has been told he has a clean slate under AVB and has been told he 's got a chance to impress in pre-season and by the sounds of it so may have Giovanni Dos Santos. He was desperate to leave the club under Redknapp and reports at the beginning of the week had him close to a deal with Athletico Madrid yet he is reported as saying that it wouldn't be a disaster if he stayed at Tottenham next season so I'm wondering if AVB has said the same ot him.

Up front Defoe has been told that he can't leave the club as he's the only exprienced striker on the books at the moment. Harry Kane should also be in the first team squad this season after loans to Football League clubs in previous seasons. Rumours still abound that we are still interested in making Adebayor's loan deal permanent this season.

I see all the talk in this mornings news is of Andy Carroll, rumours of him being sold back to Newcastle for £10 million, West Ham on loan ( Laughing Laughing dream on boys) strange one I think. I would have him at Villa any day of the week, I am surprised that BR is looking to get rid to be honest, it is not as though they are awash with strikers at Liverpool, but then again these are only rumours but there are quite a few and as they say no smoke without fire Yes

Take no notice of City losing in pre season.

Pre season is all about match fitness and avoiding injuries, it's certainly not about winning every game 10-0

My team Newcastle lost today to a German 3rd division side 1-0 but the result didn't bother me, during last pre season we lost 6-0 to a league 2 side but had a fantastic season

I am happy if all of our players gain fitness and avoid injury, you don't win any trophies winning every pre season game
