Shedrule1983, alright mate, he's pretty decent, England u19 international, lightning quick can beat a man, he's a bit small, a bit like Shaun Wright-Phillips _________________ If winning isn't everything, why do they keep score?

| I remember Santon being touted as the new young italian star coming through a few seasons back. Was regarded as the successor to Maicon for Inter. Now i haven't seen that much of him of late as i think he also suffered a knee injury season before last but at just 20 years of age he could be a very good signing if fulfilling some of that early promise. |

| Spurs dont seem to be in the running for any big signings does this mean that levy knows redknapps just waiting for cappello to go so he can take the england job is there any point in levy making in big signings with redknapp in charge knowing that hes likely to leave if offered england job hence no signings. |
Doubt we'll get any other than the ones willing to pay cuts toby. As we are no longer in the Champions League Levy will cut his cloth to suit. It's well known we have to big a squad to start with and he told Redknapp before the start of the window that players would have to leave to fund new signings. Of course that doesn't mean the better players but the ones such as Crouch, Bentley, Palacios and so on. As they've been struggling to get shut of them I really can't see anyone coming other than Parker.
To be honest on the England situation it's not really nailed on that England would offer Harry the job and even though you have to plan for that situation you can't really run your football club on the whim of something happening. I'm sure if the finances were there Spurs would have done more business.
That said if Harry does go I think many Spurs fans would be ambivalent to his departure as we know we've got a fantastic chairman in Daniel Levy. I think most fans respect what Harry has done for us on the field - he's a fantastic man manager and would be a great England manager - but we cringe every time he's on Sky Sports with one of his soundbites (certainly likes the attention!). As well I think most Spurs fans are worried about his dealings in the transfer market and his continual chase for ex-players and the ones over 30. He's slowly transforming our squad into one of the oldest in then division. _________________ @ KanKeano_OLBG | Twitter |

Too right, the final straw of his dealings came last January, Signing what was possibly the 8th choice wide player at the club in Pienaar??? Strangest decision ever when you consider the we already had Lennon, Bale, VDV, Krancjar, O'Hara, Bentley and Rose on our books who would all be ahead of Pienaar in my reckoning |

agreed KK and krystofa
'arry has done well but we have had a decent squad too... and the transfers always were and are a worry with him...
would be great for england as his skills are the man management and getting players to play well for him but not too many spurs fans would be that bothered
cant see anyone other than parker in - crouch will probably go / hutton virtually gone
maybe some daft final minute signing like (perish the thought) rasiak in 2005 |

According the UEFA website Wenger, Ferguson, Villas-Boas and Hodgson are due to attend the annual UEFA Elite Coaches' Forum in Nyon, Switzerland today and tomorrow. Presume he'll be on his way to this. _________________ @ KanKeano_OLBG | Twitter |
