I'm starting this thread, which will be like the 2 year old thread we had last year, but this time it is open to any horses that have not had a race.

EVERYBODY is welcome to add horses with a brief comment. I'll start off with a few 3 year olds, some of which were on the 2 year old thread from last year

I'll be adding my 2 year olds after Cheltenham.

Sail Away Home
Kingmambo – Sequoyah
A P O’Brien
3rd Foal of Sequoyah that has been Sired by Kingmambo, the 1st was Queen Cleopatra who won a group 3 (1000 guineas trial) before finishing 3rd in the French Oaks, the 2nd was Henrythenavigator who was a 4 time group 1 winner including the English/Irish 2000 Guineas double so she has a big potential to fulfil, but who better to train her than A P O’Brien. A 3 year old filly I have high hopes for.

Leo Luna
Galileo – Eva Luna
Sir M Stoute
Derby Entry from the Stoute yard that is closely related to St Leger winner Brian Boru and last year’s Leger Fav Sea Moon as well as the unraced dam of Derby/Arc winner Workforce. His Dam won the Park Hill and I feel this coltcan join the ever growing list of Group winners in this family.

Aegaeus
Monsun – Ouija Board
Ed Dunlop
This foal of 7 time group 1 winner including 2 Breeders Cup, 2 Oaks and a Hong Kong Vase and has been entered into the Derby by E Dunlop who also trained his Dam. !st foal was Voodoo Prince who won a maiden at 3 easily before disappointing in Handicap company so we are hoping this foal can bring back some of his Dams ability back to the racecourse.

Continuum
Dansili — Clepsydra
Henry Cecil
Full Brother to Group 1 winner Passage of time and a winner of the Ascot King Edward Stake Father time as well as the half brother to Falmouth Stakes winner Timepiece. An unsurprisingly well bred colt from Juddmonte farms who holds a Derby entry for Sir Henry Cecil.

Dr Yes
Dansili — Light Shift (USA)
Henry Cecil
First Foal of Henry Cecils last Oaks winner Light Shift who herself was half sister to another Group 1 winner as well as a group 2 winner. Holds a Derby entry and only time will tell whether Light Shifts progeny can live up to their successful Dam.

Eltifaat
Medicean – Dhelaal
Sir M Stoute
Half Brother to Maktoums outcast 1000 guineas winner Makfi, they sold a Guineas winner so I wonder how good the one they keep is. He holds a Derby entry to see if he emulate his distance relative Authorized.

Michelangelo
Galileo – Intrigued
John Gosden
A Half million yearling who has a pedigree that screams stamina, he is the brother of No Heretic that won over 12 furlongs. His Dam was a half sister to the French 2000 guineas winner Aussie Rules and also the Dam of Midas Touch. He holds a Derby entry and I’m hoping he lives up to his hefty Price Tag.

Omar Khayyam
Pivotal – Kithanga
A Balding

He is a Derby entry from a smaller yard and has a pedigree that is full of winners. He is the 9th foal and of the previous 8 seven have won, the most impressive being Milan a St Leger and Great Voltigeur. Interesting to see how this colt fares because his pedigree looks full of Stamina, but he is Sired by Pivotal who is usually more associated with Speed. Hopefully he will be a Stable Star for A Balding

Septenarius
Empire Maker – Reams of Verse
Sir Henry Cecil
Seventh foal from Oaks Heroine Reams of Verse and the previous 6 have all won. He has 2 full brothers, 1 of which won a group 3 in Canada and the other was World Domination who won his maiden so impressively that he was installed as Ante-Post Fav for the Derby. I feel this family will sooner or later produce a superstar and hopefully this Derby entry is it.

Subtraction
Pivotal – Attraction
L Cumani
He is the 3rd Foal of 1000 guineas winner who won his her 1st 8 races including the 1000 guineas double. Both her 1st foals won as 2 year olds from only a handful of starts and hopefully Cumani can make this Colt (her 1st Colt) her 3rd winner.

Red Corvette
Galileo – Red Evie
M Bell
Double Group 1 winner Red Evies first foal sired by Champion Sire Galileo and her Dam was very progressive as a 3 year old winning 7 times in total improving 38lb as she did so. She will be trained by M Bell who will be hoping this filly can take after her Dam who was his Stable star.

Alone
Galileo – Dance for Fun
D Wachman
Dance for fun was a 1 mile AW winner who is from the family of an Arc winner and has so far produced 3 winners from 3 foals. The most successful partnership was when paired with Galileo she produced treble group 1 winner Lush Lashes. The same partnership has been tried again and produced this filly that will be trained by David Wachman.

Soviet Dream
Oasis Dream – Soviet Song
James Fanshawe
James Fanshawe will be hoping that this colt will be able to reproduce some of the form that his dam produced when winning 5 group 1s. She is owned by the Elite racing club that will have high expectations for this colt having turned down big offers for his Dam a few years back. Soviet Songs wins came at a mile, but she is the half sister to a Triumph Hurdle winner so this colt may have stamina, but beinig Sired by Oasis Dream is more likely to be sticking with a mile this year. He will be interesting to follow and holds a Derby Entry if he does prove to be a stayer.

Chloesky
Galileo – Funsie
Unknown
This colt is closely related to Derby Winner Authorised and holds entries into the English and Irish Derby. At the moment it is unknown who trains him, but he was with John Oxx last season so will be interesting to see if he reappears there or maybe at Noseda stable who has P Makins other horses.

Chicago
Montjeu – Lady Karr
A P O'Brien
Closely related to group 3 winner Mikhail Glinka who stayed 2 mile, being Sired by Montjeu we can full expect this colt to be full of Stamina. He is out of a 12 furlong winning half Sister to Derby winner Sir Percy and trained by the Irish Master A P O’Brien.

Father of Science
Galileo – Kasora
A P O'Brien
He is the Half Brother to Double Derby winner and Double Breeders Cup High Chaparral and also Dante winner Black Bear Island. Clearly from a high class family and trained by A P O’Brien, Sired by Galileo there is nothing not to like about colt.

Vow
Motivator – Frog
William Haggas
Half Sister to Group 3 winner last year Beaten Up who was unbeaten in his 3 starts at 3 and like Vow was unraced at 2. They have the same trainer who hopefully will be able to steer this filly in the right direction. Also half sister to 4 times group placed game front runner Harris Tweed. She should be one for some stamina tests.

Oiche Ghealai
Galileo – Affianced
J S Bolger
She is the 4th foal from this partnership and they have already produced a Derby winner in Soldier of Fortune, a group 3 winner in Heliostatic and very impressive winner from his only runner Singe the Turf. The Partnership clearly works and we may have another good winner from Listed Winning mare Affianced.

Along
Smart Strike – All Too Beautiful
A P O’Brien
She is Half Sister to Wonder of Wonders who emulated her dam when finishing 2nd in the Oaks. Her Dam was 2nd in a classic but is overshadowed by her Brothers Galileo and Sea the Stars. Amazingly bred family and now introducing the Sire of Curlin will be fascinated to see how good this filly can be.

BetterBetterBetter
Galileo – Jude
A P O’Brien
Closely related to 3 other fillies who all have been placed in the Oaks including Yesterday that won the Irish 1000 guineas. The fillies are clearly better in this family and with A P O’Brien training could BetterBetterBetter make it 4 foals in the frame for the Oaks.

THREE-YEAR-OLDS

ALDEBURGH (14/5 b c Oasis Dream - Orford Ness)
Trainer: Sir Michael Stoute Owner: Khalid Abdulla

Full brother to connections' high-class 6-7f winner Main Aim and a half brother to high-class 7f-1m winner Home Affairs, one-time high-class 10-11f winner Weightless, very useful 7-10f winner Verdant and 8-11f winner Castle Rising, out of a high-class French miler. Late foal; unsurprisingly not seen last year, presumably given time to mature; related to sprint winners, milers and middle distance winners; his preferred distance is likely to be anything around 1m.

BIOGRAPHER (13/3 b c Montjeu - Reflective)
Trainer: David Lanigan Owner: Bjorn Nielsen

Bought back for 150,000gns as a yearling; second foal of an unraced close relation to top-class 2yo/miler Hector Protector, 1000 Guineas/Champion Stakes heroine Bosra Sham and French 2000 Guineas winner Shanghai. Has reportedly shown promise at home; pedigree strongly suggests middle distances will suit, perhaps even further in time; ideal candidate to be brought along slowly in middle distance maidens in the spring before coming good in handicaps in the summer/autumn, as per his yard's modus operandi.

CECCHETTI METHOD (5/2 b c Danehill Dancer - Desert Bloom)
Trainer: Sir Michael Stoute Owner: Ballymacoll Stud

Half brother to connections' smart middle distance 3yo Fiorente (also unraced at two) and very useful sprinter Masada, out of an unraced half sister to smart 7f-1m winner Red Dune, excellent family of Islington, Greek Dance, Mountain High etc. From a family his veteran handler knows well; could feasibly start out over 1m, but highly likely to stay middle distances before the year is out.

CRYSTAL MONARCH (5/5 b c Dalakhani - Top Crystal)
Trainer: Sir Henry Cecil Owner: Michael Poland

Half brother to high-class Irish 6-7f winner Three Rocks out of a once-raced half sister to 7f 2yo winner/Cheshire Oaks third Crystal Curling, 10f 3yo winner True Crystal, 12f 3yo winner Time Crystal and smart 2m jumper Jack The Giant out of a Lancashire Oaks winner who was a half sister to Fillies' Mile winner Crystal Music and smart middle distance performer Dubai Success. Late foal and stoutly bred; dam's only notable product to date is Irish 7f Group 3 winner Three Rocks; this colt likely to stay twice as far as that, and is reportedly well regarded by connections; veteran handler knows this family well.

EBBLE (13/4 b f Oasis Dream - Sulk)
Trainer: John Gosden Owner: James Wigan

Half sister to smart UAE triple 7f winner Ibn Battuta out of a Prix Marcel Boussac winner who was later smart over middle/staying trips and was a half sister to very smart 6-10f winner Eagle Mountain. This filly is the final product of her dam and is trained in the same yard as her; too backward to see a racecourse last year, but ought not to take too long in making an impact when eventually appearing this year.

EBTISAMA (19/3 b f Kingmambo - Misterah)
Trainer: Marcus Tregoning Owner: Hamdan Al Maktoum

Half sister to smart 5/6f 2010 2yo Darajaat and the very useful 6f-1m winner Shabiba, out of a smart 6-7f winner (including the Group 3 Nell Gwyn) who was a half sister to 5-12f winner Mustajed, family of the very smart middle distance performer River Memories. This filly is from a smart family very well known by connections; surprising she didn't see action at all last year (presumably met with a setback of some sort); interesting to see whether she debuts in the Bridget Fillies' Maiden at Newbury's Greenham meeting in April, a race for newcomers run over 7f.

EL SALVADOR (3/4 ch c Galileo - Balisada)
Trainer: Aidan O'Brien Owner: Mrs John Magnier

Full brother to smart 10-12f winner Galactic Star, three-parts brother to French 1m 2yo debut winner Bradamante (by Sadler's Wells) and a half brother to UAE 7-9f winner Blues Ballad, out of a Coronation Stakes winner from the family of Inchinor. This well-bred colt failed to see action at two but is reportedly high in the pecking order at Ballydoyle; likely to stay middle distances in time, though no reason why he shouldn't prove capable of starting off over 1m.

ERNEST HEMMINGWAY (10/4 b c Galileo - Cassydora)
Trainer: Aidan O'Brien Owner: Mrs John Magnier

Second foal of a smart 7-11f winner (including the Lingfield Oaks Trial and at Grade 3 level in the US) who was a half sister to 10f 3yo Listed winner Classic Remark, useful dual 7f 2yo winner Clarietta (Listed placed) and 10f 3yo winner Circle Of Love out of high-class 8-10f winner (including at Listed level) Claxon, herself a half sister to smart dual 10f 3yo winner Bull Run. This colt comes from a very good family that has produced several smart performers at around middle distances, the dam herself a Grade 3 winner in the States over 1m 1f; reportedly very highly rated and holds the obligatory Derby entries; will prove best over middle distances; will want some cut.

ESTEBSAAL (19/1 b c Dansili - Bunood)
Trainer: John Dunlop Owner: Hamdan Al Maktoum

Half brother to 7f-1m 3yo winner Bakoura out of a 1m 2yo debut winner (later very useful over middle distances) who was a half sister to the useful 7f 2yo winner Maghanim and the daughter of Prix Marcel Boussac/1000 Guineas winner Shadayid. Well bred colt from a family his veteran handler knows inside out; reportedly showed promise last term but failed to make it to the track for whatever reason; sure to come good at some stage, and should stay middle distances in time.

HAJRAS (11/5 b c Dubai Destination - Nufoos)
Trainer: Mark Johnston Owner: Hamdan Al Maktoum

Half brother to connections' top-class 6f 2yo Awzaan and 7f 2yo winner Tasfeya, out of a smart 5-7f winner who was a half sister to a whole host of useful winners and from the family of one time high-class sprinter Watching. Another who is from a family well know to connections, with the dam doing her racing at this yard while the best of her offspring, Awzaan, won the Middle Park Stakes when trained at this stable, too; clearly nowhere near as precocious as either his classy sibling or dam, although that's to be expected given he was a mid-May foal; probably prove best at around 1m.

HANSEATIC (26/3 b c Galileo - Institute)
Trainer: John Gosden Owner: Khalid Abdulla

Three-parts brother to 1m 1f 3yo winner Indication (by Sadler's Wells), closely related to connections' smart 8-10f winner Take The Hint (by Montjeu) and 8-9f winner Imply (by Beat Hollow); half brother to connections' smart 7f-1m winner Stronghold, out of a useful miler who was the daughter of top-class miler/Oaks second All At Sea. Yet another colt who is from a family very well known to connections, with his handler having trained the best of this dam's produce, namely Group 3 winner Stronghold and Listed scorer Take A Hint; pedigree strongly suggests middle distances will prove his forte eventually.

HASSLE (19/1 b c Montjeu - Canterbury Lace)
Trainer: Clive Cox Owner: Alan Spence

200,000gns half brother to high-class 6-7f winner Chachamaidee and 7-10f winner Maybe I Will, out of an unraced sister to Group 1 placed 1m 2yo winner Chevalier and half sister to 1000 Guineas winner Virginia Waters, family of top-class 2yo/miler Dubawi and Derby winner High-Rise. Well related colt who has always been thought a lot of by connections; clearly deemed in need of more time as not seen last season, but, being a son of Montjeu, he was always likely to excel at three; sire a stamina influence but could well begin his career at 1m if needs be.

HIGH STRATOS (3/2 b c Montjeu - Hyabella)
Trainer: Luca Cumani Owner: Castle Down Racing

Retained for 200,000gns at auction; three-parts brother to 1m 3yo winner Summer Dance (by Sadler's Wells) and a half brother to the mud-loving smart 8-10f winner Poet, 8-10f winner High Reserve and 10f 3yo debut winner Hyperspectra (later dam of smart dual 7f winner/Irish 2000 Guineas third France), out of a smart miler who was a half sister to very smart 10-11f winner Stagecraft and high-class 9-10f winner Mullins Bay. This colt hails from a very good Meon Valley bloodline and is in the right hands to be brought along gradually, looking the type to thrive in handicaps after a few outings; should stay 10f at the very least.

HOLOGRAM (23/3 b c Teofilo - Love Divine)
Trainer: Sir Henry Cecil Owner: Lordship Stud

Closely related to smart middle distance performer/St Leger winner Sixties Icon (by Galileo) and a half brother to connections' smart middle distance performer Native Ruler and 1m 1f 3yo winner Kissing, out of connections' Oaks winner who was a half sister to their smart middle distance stayer Floreeda. This colt is another who needs no introduction to his handler, having trained the dam to Classic glory and one of her foals to place at Group level; no surprise to see him kept under wraps at two, bred as he is; should stay middle distances in time.

IF SO (1/3 b f Iffraaj - Persario)
Trainer: James Fanshawe Owner: Jan and Peter Hopper

Half sister to connections' very smart sprinter Deacon Blues out of a useful 6-7f winner who was a full sister to smart 6f-1m winner Heretic and a half sister to the very smart multiple 7f winner/Lockinge runner-up Warningford. Comes from a family that has served connections' extremely well over the years, with this filly's older siblings progressing through the handicap ranks and on to Group 1 glory within the space of four months last term; reportedly showed plenty of ability last summer/autumn at home but was kept back for whatever reason; will prove best over 6/7f.

LEBRON (13/4 b c Galileo - Silverskaya)
Trainer: Aidan O'Brien Owner: Mrs John Magnier

Full brother to the yard's Racing Post Trophy/Irish Derby runner-up Seville out of a high-class middle distance performer in France who was a half sister to very smart miler Daneskaya. This colt is bred to excel over middle distances, so it was hardly surprisingly to see him fail to make the track at two; holds the obligatory Derby entries, and highly likely that his debut outing will come in one of the better maidens at either the Curragh or Leopardstown.

MAIN LINE (29/1 b c Rail Link - Cooden Beach)
Trainer: David Lanigan Owner: William McAlpine

Closely related to Mill Reef winner Shaweel (by Dansili) out of a 1m 3yo winner who was a half sister to very useful sprinter Roker Park and the daughter of very smart sprinter/top-class miler Golden Opinion. This nicely bred colt had shown himself to be well above average on the practice grounds last year, earning himself some big-race entries; failed to make it to the track at all in the end at two, but no surprise to see this son of Rail Link make up for lost time this term and live up to the hype; should prove at his best at around a mile.

MATURED (17/3 b f Manduro - Time Away)
Trainer: Ralph Beckett Owner: Robert Barnett

Half sister to very smart 10-12f winner Time On, 10f 3yo winner Time Control and French middle distance winner Time Pressure, out of a high-class 8-10f winner/French Oaks third who was the granddaughter of the excellent middle distance filly Time Charter. This filly is from a lovely middle distance family, so it wasn't altogether surprising she failed to make an appearance at two; had shown up well in her work, though, and ought to debut in one of the better maidens at one of the top track in the early throes of the Flat season.

MAWASEM (5/2 b c Street Cry - Saree)
Trainer: Sir Michael Stoute Owner: Hamdan Al Maktoum

375,000gns purchase who is a half brother to 7f 2yo debut winner North East Corner out of a 7f 2yo winner who was a full sister to Cheveley Park Stakes winner Magical Romance and a close relation of Oaks winner Alexandrova and smart middle distance performer Masterofthehorse (both by Sadler's Wells). This colt is another who had shown promise on the practice grounds last summer but failed to make an appearance; pedigree suggests he will only come into his own at three anyway, and he ought to stay 10f at least on pedigree.

MINIMISE RISK (26/3 b c Galileo - Dararita)
Trainer: Andrew Balding Owner: Fitri Hay

410,000gns yearling who is a half brother to very useful middle distance stayer Darasim out of a middle distance winning daughter of top-class racemare/excellent broodmare Darara (dam of Dar Re Mi and Rewilding). This colt spent most of 2011 in the care of Aidan O'Brien (had been with Paul Cole previous to that); joined a very good stable for the forthcoming season, and could well make his debut at Newbury's Greenham meeting in the 1m 3f maiden.

REQUIRE (20/4 b f Montjeu - Request)
Trainer: Luca Cumani Owner: Duke Of Devonshire & Mrs John Magnier

Three parts sister to temperamental 1m 2yo winner Plea (by Motivator) and closely related to very smart middle distance stayer Ask and 10f 3yo debut/2m hurdle winner Kensington Oval (both by Sadler's Wells), out of a twice-raced maiden half sister to Hardwicke Stakes winner Blueprint, excellent family. This daughter of Montjeu was never going to make up into a 2yo type, bred to excel over 10f at the very least; in the right hands to be brought along gradually, and it would be disappointing if she couldn't win at least a maiden this term.

SAMOAN (4/5 b c Danehill Dancer - Rain Flower)
Trainer: Brian Meehan Owner: Sangster Family & Mrs John Magnier

Bought back for 45,000gns at auction; full brother to last year's Oaks winner Dancing Rain and useful 7f-1m winner Captain Dancer, three parts brother to smart dual 5f 2yo winner Sumora and 7f 2yo winner Fleeting Shadow (both by Danehill) and a half brother to middle distance winner Mikhail Fokine, out of an unraced half sister to Derby winner Dr Devious. Obviously interesting given the exploits of his year older sibling in last year's Oaks, though it is doubtful this colt will stay middle distances, more than likely to find 1m the limit of his stamina range; reportedly held in high regard.

SAUNTA (14/4 b f Invincible Spirit - Baize)
Trainer: David Simcock Owner: St Albans Bloodstock LLP

95,000gns half sister to US 1m 1f 3yo Grade 1 winner Singhalese, high-class US 8-9f winner Kid Edward, useful 6f-1m winner Docofthebay, 6f 3yo winner Patterdale, 6f 2yo winner Isis Song and 6f-1m Flat/2m hurdle/2m 7f chase winner Masterpoint and 9-14f Flat/2m 4f-2m 7f hurdle winner Baizically, out of a very useful dual 5f 2yo winner who was a half sister to smart sprinter Bayleaf. This filly was bred to be precocious at two and showed every indication she would live up to her pedigree, but she encountered several setbacks which denied her the opportunity to showcase her talents; hopefully she hasn't missed her chance.

SCOTTISH VESPERS (14/2 b c Dylan Thomas - Scottish Stage)
Trainer: Sir Michael Stoute Owner: Ballymacoll Stud

Closely related to 1m 3yo winner Dumbarton (by Danehill Dancer) out of a smart 7-10f winner/Irish Oaks runner-up who was a half sister to high-class 8-10f winner Eleanora Duse, 10f 3yo debut winner Namibian Orator and 10f 3yo winner Voice Coach out of a 10f 3yo winner who was a half sister to very smart 9-10f winner Stage Gift. This colt hails from an excellent Ballymacoll Stud bloodline that traces back to Sun Princess; bred to come into his own over middle distances this term, and it wouldn't be at all surprising to see this colt prove himself a smart sort in time.

SELFARA (28/3 b f Oasis Dream - Rustic)
Trainer: Roger Charlton Owner: Khalid Abdulla

Half sister to 7f 2yo debut winner Provincial and 1m 3yo Flat/2m 2f hurdle winner Rangoon, out of a smart 6f 2yo winner who was a half sister to very smart 2yo/Irish Derby winner Grey Swallow. This filly doesn't boast any high-class relations, but it is fair to say that most of her siblings were by stouter/disappointing; reportedly held in some regard at Beckhampton and as such, it wouldn't be a surprise to see her register victory sooner rather than later; another for whom the fillies' newcomers race over 7f at Newbury's Greenham meeting is a realistic starting point.

SPORTING GOLD (22/3 b c Shirocco - Pink Stone)
Trainer: Roger Varian Owner: Alan Spence

Sales price doubled to 130,000gns as a yearling; half brother to the yard's high-class but ill-fated 7f 2yo valuable sales race winner Tiger Eye, useful 12f-2m winner Battleoftrafalgar and 1m 2yo winner Alright My Son. Had apparently shown some promise early but was clearly in need of more time not to see the track at all at two, hardly surprisingly considering his sire; interesting proposition for the season ahead over middle distances, particularly if debuting in one of the better maidens early on.

STUNNING VIEW (17/4 b/br f Dynaformer - No Matter What)
Trainer: John Gosden Owner: George Strawbridge

Full sister to connections' top-class miler Rainbow View (later very smart in the US at around 1m) and a half sister to high-class US middle distance duo Just As Well and Winter View and 1m 2yo winner Utley, out of a very smart French/US 8-9f winner who was a half sister to very smart dirt miler E Dubai. This well-related filly had reportedly starting to show an abudance of potential towards the end of last season but was, for whatever reason kept under wraps; intriguing prospect for the season ahead, and she should have few problems in staying 10f.

SYMPOSIA (24/3 b f Galileo - Emplane)
Trainer: Sir Henry Cecil Owner: Khalid Abdulla

Half sister to connections' high-class 8-10f winner Aviate, smart French dual 7f winner Early March, promising but ill-fated dual 7f 2yo winner Wingwalker and other winners, out of a 1m winning daughter of Cheshire Oaks winner Peplum. From a family that has served connections very well in recent times, this daughter of Galileo was rated one of her powerful yard's more exciting juvenile prospects last term, but was deemed in need of more time; family has a very good record first time out; could well stay middle distances.

TINLEY LODGE (17/4 b c Montjeu - Shining Bright)
Trainer: Sir Michael Stoute Owner: Khalid Abdulla

Closely related to connections' very smart middle distance performer Spanish Moon, their Ribblesdale winner Spanish Sun and dual 1m 3yo winner Certain Promise (all by El Prado) and a half brother to French 8-10f winner Cut Glass, 10f 3yo winner Galvanise and 12f 3yo winner Eagle's Cross, out of a 10f 3yo winner who was the daughter of an Oaks runner-up. This colt can count among his relations middle distance Group winners Spanish Moon and Spanish Sun, both of whom represented these connections, making winning debuts at two; almost certain to stay middle distances.

UNEX ANNIGONI (6/3 b c Holy Roman Emperor - Cape Columbine)
Trainer: John Gosden Owner: Bill Gredley

100,000gns yearling who is the second foal of a very useful 6f 2yo winner/1000 Guineas fifth who was a half sister to very smart sprinter Cape Of Good Hope, hugely promising 2011 6-7f 2yo winner Nephrite, triple 6f winner Cap St Vincent and 6f 3yo winner Cape Cobra out of a smart sprinter, family of high-class but ill-fated sprinter Corrybrough. This colt is bred for speed and is highly unlikely to get further than 7f; cost enough and is with a good yard, so not hard to envisage a fruitful three-year-old campaign.

UTTERANCE (18/2 b c Dansili - Valentine Waltz)
Trainer: John Gosden Owner: George Strawbridge

Half brother to connections' Lingfield Oaks Trial winner Dyna Waltz out of a French 1000 Guineas winner who was a half sister to very smart US miler Sense Of Style, family of top-class sprinter/miler Last Tycoon. This colt's dam, a 1000 Guineas winner in France, hasn't produced an awful lot at stud thus far; however, this colt reportedly showed promise on the practice grounds at two but never made it to the track; could well stay middle distances in time, but it's likely this son of Dansili will begin his career over 1m, with something such as the Wood Ditton a possible starting point.

Thanks Aidan, Excellent write up.

The list is looking good with 50 unraced 3 year olds so far. A 2 year old that will surely be on the list is Morpheus as you have already stated in the General Discussion. (Frankels Half Brother)

Just to add everybody is allowed put a horse on the list even if it is just the 1 you think will have potential next year.

TWO-YEAR-OLDS

1. A Ladies Man (17/3 b c Kyllachy - Ego)
Trainer: Richard Hannon Owner: Julie Wood

(220,000gns) Half brother to useful 7f-1m winner (including on 2yo debut) Chef, multiple 7f AW winner Cut And Thrust and 7f 2yo winner Self Centred, out of a very useful dual 6f 2yo winner (placed at Listed level) who was a half sister to 6f 2yo winner/Champagne Stakes third Ghayth out of Nell Gwyn winner Pushy. This colt is bred to sprint and sold for plenty at auction, his sales price quadrupling from the 56,000gns his went for as a foal; in the right hands to make a significant impact at two over sprint distances.

2. Abated (11/5 b f Dansili - Tantina)
Trainer: Roger Charlton Owner: Khalid Abdulla

Full sister to connections' very smart sprinter Bated Breath and a half sister to their high-class miler Cityscape and triple 1m 3yo winner Scuffle, out of a high-class mutiple 7f 3yo winner (including twice at Listed level) who was from the family of Xaar. This well-bred filly is of obvious interest for the season ahead, being a full sister to connections Haydock Cup Sprint runner-up Bated Breath and a half sister to their smart miler Cityscape, the second named able to make a significant impact at two (former incurred an injury which prevented him from running at two); hopes must be high that this daughter of Dansili will prove capable of making some sort of impact this term, for all she is a late foal, and she could well have the speed to begin over 6f.

3. Aldborough (14/4 b c Danehill Dancer - Kitty O'Shea)
Trainer: Ralph Beckett Owner: Mr & Mrs David Aykroyd

Full brother to 7f 2yo winner/Moyglare Stud Stakes third Kissable and 7f 2yo debut winner Kingdom Of Munster, out of a dual 1m winner (including at Listed level) who was a full sister to Racing Post Trophy/St Leger winner Brian Boru, very smart 10-13f winner Moon Search and to the dam of Derby/Arc hero Workforce and a half sister to very smart 8-12f winner/Breeders' Cup Turf runner-up Sea Moon out of a high-class middle distance stayer. This colt is from a very good family, including Classic winners Brian Boru and Workforce, but both of his siblings did their winning over seven furlongs at two and it is unlikely this colt will prove any different; with a good stable that can get them ready first time up, this colt could well be of significant interest on debut when appearing this year.

4. Alpinist (25/4 b c New Approach - Alouette)
Trainer: Jim Bolger Owner: Mrs Jackie Bolger

Closely related to smart dual 12f 3yo winner (including at Listed level) Alma Mater (by Sadler's Wells) and a half brother to dual Champion Stakes heroine Alborada, triple German Group 1 middle distance winner Albanova, useful 1m-2m winner Alanbrooke, dual 12f 3yo winner Alba Stella, dual 12f Flat/useful 2m hurdle/2m chase winner Albinus and to the dam of Derby runner-up Dragon Dancer out of a smart middle distance performer from an exceptional family. This colt is unlikely to be an early sort, but he ought to be capable of making an impact when the 7f/1m maidens start in the summer; trainer an extremely capable handler of juveniles, and surprising if this colt wasn't up to winning his maiden at the very least.

5. Ashaadd (5/4 b c Dansili - Vital Statistics)
Trainer: Roger Varian Owner: Sheikh Ahmed Al Maktoum

(110,000gns) First foal of a smart dual 6f 2yo winner (including at Listed level) who was a half sister to useful triple 6f winner Emerald Lodge and dual 6f winners Bahia Emerald and Spiritual Peace out of a high-class sprinter who was herself the daughter of Cheveley Park winner Pass The Peace. This colt is bred to be fairly quick, his dam a precocious sort who was at her peak as a two-year-old over sprint distances, scoring at Listed level before proving disappointing later; could well be seen out once the better 6f maidens begin around mid-May (yard often start off a good one in the 6f maiden at York's Ebor meeting around that time).

6. Ashland (25/3 b c Dansili - Bonash)
Trainer: John Gosden Owner: Khalid Abdulla

Full brother to twice raced dual 7f 2yo winner (including at Group 3 level) Sense Of Joy and a half brother to high-class multiple 10-13f winner (including at Group 3/Listed level) Day Flight, 10f 3yo winner Sense Of Pride and once-raced 7f 2yo winner Bionic, out of a very smart 8-12f winner (including at Group 2/3 level). This colt is from a family that his handler has had good success with in recent times, sending out full sister Sense Of Joy to make a winning debut before going on to Group 3 success next time out (career cut short by injury) and half brother Day Flight to numerous victories at Group 3/Listed level over middle distances; being a full sister to the former, one would hope that this colt will be able to make an impact this year at around 7f/1m.

7. Big Break (6/4 b f Dansili - Fame At Last)
Trainer: Dermot Weld Owner: Khalid Abdulla

Full sister to the high-class and prolific 6-10f winner (including numerous times at Group 3/Listed level) Famous Name and a half sister to smart 7-10f winner (including at Listed level) Zaminast, 1m 3yo debut winner Photo Opportunity, 1m 3yo winners Everlasting Fame and Final Esteem and 6f 3yo winner Anchor Date, out of a 7f 2yo debut winner. This filly is a full sister to stable stalwart Famous Name as well as a being a half sister to connections' very smart 10f 3yo Listed winner Zaminast, both of whom made winning debuts along with the subsequently disappointing Photo Opportunity; her veteran handler clearly knows how to handle this family, and it wouldn't at all surprise to see this daughter of Dansili prove successful at the first time of asking in her chosen maiden this season; will probably appear sometime around the late summer/early autumn over 7f.

8. Buchanan (26/1 b c Dansili - Because)
Trainer: Sir Henry Cecil Owner: Thomas Barr

Half brother to 1m 2yo debut/12f 3yo winner Anmar out of a maiden sister to Irish 1000 Guineas winner/Oaks second Yesterday, Moyglare Stud Stakes winner/Irish 1000 Guineas/Oaks/Irish Oaks runner-up Quarter Moon and 10f 3yo debut winner/Oaks third All My Loving out of a half sister to Last Second, Allegretto, excellent producer Alouette etc. This well-bred colt is another who is unlikely to be seen anytime soon, but he is in good hands and comes from an exceptionally successful middle distance family that his handler has already enjoyed some success with, sending out Thomas Chippendale (Dansili son of All My Loving) to win a maiden last year; will want 1m this year.

9. Cape Elizabeth (20/2 b f Invincible Spirit - Maine Lobster)
Trainer: John Gosden Owner: Cheveley Park Stud

(180,000gns) Half sister to very smart 6f-1m winner (including at Group 2/3 level) Major Cadeaux, smart 7-10f winner (including at Listed level) Beachfire and modest 7-9f winner Lord Of The Dance, out of a maiden daughter of top-class US 6-10f winner Capades. This filly is very much bred to make a juvenile, likely to prove sharp enough for 6f given her classy half brother Major Cadeaux made a winning debut over that distance before finishing second in the Coventry; sire also a speed influence.

10. Cape Of Hope (27/3 b c Cape Cross - Bright Hope)
Trainer: Peter Chapple-Hyam Owner: Eledy Srl

(75,000gns) Half brother to prolific (mainly at a low level) 10-14f winner Birkside, 12f 3yo winner Bright Abbey, 1m 2yo debut winner Wintercast and 7f 2yo winner Brief Candle, out of a 10f 3yo winner who was the daughter of a middle distance/staying winning half sister to Haydock Sprint Cup winner Iktamal. From a family that has served Peter Harris and family very well over the years, there is enough in this colt's pedigree to suggest he can make an impact this season; will need at least 7f, and unlikely that he will be seen until the summer, but from a good source of 2yo winners and an interesting prospect for the season ahead.

11. Cross Pattee (21/4 b f Oasis Dream - Victoria Cross)
Trainer: John Gosden Owner: Anthony Oppenheimer

Half sister to high-class 8-12f winner (including twice at Group 2 level) Bronze Cannon, useful dual 7f 2yo winner Elusive Award, 7f 2yo debut winner Valiance, 12f 3yo winner Crimson Ribbon and 11f 3yo fibresand winner Bravestofthebrave, out of a 7f 3yo winner (Listed placed) who was a half sister to top-class hurdler Pridwell. This filly is from a very good family that has served this yard well in recent seasons, with Bronze Cannon, Crimson Ribbon and Valiance all winners for the stable; sire's speed influence likely to see this filly appear around the summer time, most probably over 7f; couple of her siblings have proved successful on debut, and three of them have won on polytrack whilst another won on the fibresand, so a synthetic surface should suit well.

12. Cut No Ice (29/4 gr f Verglas - Limpopo)
Trainer: Paul Cole Owner: Denford Stud

Half sister to very smart 5-6f winner (including the Group 1 Haydock Sprint Cup) Pipalong, smart 6-7f winner (including at Listed level) Out Of Africa, multiple Irish/French 6f winner Raja, 6f-1m 3yo winner Pinch Of Posh, very useful 5f 2yo winner China Eyes (runner-up at Group 2 level), useful 7f 3yo winner Silver Shoon (placed at Group 3/Listed level), multiple 7f winner Nufoudh, multiple 7-12f winner Smoothie, 5-6f winner Walvis Bay, 5f 2yo winner Lesotho, 6f 2yo winner Rajab and 7f 2yo winner Corton, out of a sprint maiden. This filly is the 17th and final foal of very good producer Limpopo, and she is unsurprisingly bred to be very quick; stable have had past experience with the family and no surprise if this filly were up to making an impact almost immediately; could well be sharp enough to kick off over the minimum trip during the early throes of the new Flat season.

13. Dashing Star (28/1 b c Teofilo - Dashiba)
Trainer: David Elsworth Owner: Jeff Smith

Half brother to smart 8-12f winner (including the Group 2 Lancashire Oaks) Barshiba, 1m 2yo Listed winner Doctor Dash, 8-10f winner Dashing Doc and dual 10f 3yo AW winner Westhaven, out of a useful 9-10f winner (Listed placed). This colt is a half brother to a handful of winners including connections' one-eyed but smart middle distance mare Barshiba and also Listed winner Doctor Dash, out of a useful mare for them; pedigree suggests he will find 7f fine to begin with, and it would be disappointing if this nicely bred couldn't break his maiden before the year is out.

14. Desert Command (17/2 b c Oasis Dream - Speed Cop)
Trainer: Andrew Balding Owner: Jeff Smith

Full brother to very useful dual 6f winner Desert Law and a half brother to 6f 2yo winner Top Cop, out of a high-class triple 5f winner (including at Listed level) who was a half sister to very useful triple 5f winner Siren's Gift, 6f 3yo winner Indiana Blues and 7f 2yo winner King's Siren out of high-class sprinter/disqualified Nunthorpe winner Blue Siren. This colt is from a family that has served connections very well over the years and he is bred to excel at sprint distances, both of his siblings to have raced to date both scoring at two over 6f (both finished second on debut); sure to prove capable of making a major impact this year, and possibly one to catch on debut.

15. Enthusiasm (25/3 b f Dansili - High Praise)
Trainer: John Gosden Owner: Khalid Abdulla

Half sister to 10f 3yo debut winner Eagles Peak, 11f 3yo debut winner Sight Unseen and 12f 3yo debut winner Critical Acclaim, out of a very smart 7-12f winner (including at Group 2/3 level) who was a half sister to the top-class miler Observatory, very useful 8-12f winner Terrestrial, 7-10f winner Star Magnitude and to the dam of multiple 7-9f (mainly AW) winner Ninth House and 7f 2yo debut winner Quartet. This filly is from a family well known to her handler, having trained the dam to Group success and her half brother, Observatory, to Group 1 glory; half sister to three 3yo debut winners at around middle distances but is herself by a speedier influence than those three and can therefore be expected to make an impact at around 7f/1m this season; likely to appear in one of the better summer maidens at Newmarket.

16. Fair Hill (30/1 b f New Approach - Speirbhean)
Trainer: Jim Bolger Owner: Mrs Jackie Bolger

Three parts sister to connections' top-class 2yo Teofilo, useful 10f 3yo winner Senora Galilei and 7f 3yo debut winner Teo's Sister (all by Galileo), out of a 1m 3yo Listed winner who was a half sister to high-class multiple 9-14f Flat (including at Listed level)/bumper winner Graduated. This filly is closely related to connections' Dewhurst winner Teofilo, being a daughter of their 2000 Guineas/Derby winner New Approach (by Galileo) and out of a mare that served them well in her racing days; this filly is almost certain to be seen in one of the better 7f fillies' maidens at either the Curragh or Leopardstown from the summer onwards.

17. Falsafa (14/3 b f Dansili - Hureya)
Trainer: John Gosden Owner: Hamdan Al Maktoum

Half sister to the smart 7f winner (including at Group 3 level) Muthabara, triple UK/UAE 1m winner Maraheb, 7f-1m winner Aqmaar and 1m 1f 3yo winner Estiqaar, out of a 1m 3yo winner who was a half sister to the smart 7-10f winner Muqbil and very useful 6-7f winner Mostaqeleh, family of top-class miler Bahri and very smart juvenile Bahhare. This filly is a half sister to a couple of debut winners, one of whom (Muthabara) went on to Group 3 glory; first time a member of this family has been trained by John Gosden, who can get them ready to strike first time up, so this daughter of Dansili could prove a very interesting proposition on debut; likely to start her career over 7f in the summer time.

18. Flying Officer (16/5 b c Dynaformer - Vignette)
Trainer: John Gosden Owner: George Strawbridge

Full brother to connections' St Leger winner/high-class middle distance performer Lucarno and promising 2011 1m 2yo debut winner Thought Worthy and a half brother to 7f 2yo debut winner Morning Charm and multiple US sprint winner Minute Of Fame, out of a high-class UK/US 6f winner who was a half sister to several winners including smart milers Be Elusive and On A Cloud. This son of Dynaformer is clearly of significant interest given he is a full brother to Leger winner/Derby fourth Lucarno and also 1m 2yo debut winner Thought Worthy, whilst half sister Morning Charm won on her only start at two over 7f; unlikely to be seen until the backend of the season (also a late foal), but most certainly one to keep an eye out for when appearing given the success rate of his siblings first time out.

19. Haverstock (15/3 b c New Approach - Endorsement)
Trainer: Mark Johnston Owner: Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum

(110,000gns) Three parts brother to dual 12f 3yo Flat/2m 6f-3m hurdle winner Galient (by Galileo), closely related to very smart middle distance performer Mores Wells (by Sadler's Wells) and a half brother to 7f 2yo winner Road Rage, out of a Queen's Vase winner who was a half sister to 1m 2yo debut winner Dakar Rally, excellent family of Indian Haven, Hala Bek, Imperial Stride, Daggers Drawn, Kite Wood etc. This smartly bred colt appeals as the type to make an impact in 1m maidens towards the backend of the season, very much bred to want middle distances but related to a handful that were able to make some sort of impact at two; stable has its fair share of debut winners in the autumn, and no surprise if this colt were to be another.

20. Huntsmans Close (20/4 b c Elusive Quality - Badminton)
Trainer: Michael Bell Owner: Sheikh Marwan Al Maktoum

Half brother to 7f 3yo AW debut winner Burghley out of a smart 6-7f winner (including at Listed level)/Cheveley Park third who was a half sister to the very useful 6-7f winner Cala, useful miler Badalona, 7f-1m winner Rafferty and 7f 2yo winner Fox. This son of Elusive Quality is from a family that has served his owner/breeder very well in recent times, the dam a 6f 2yo debut winner who was placed at Group 1 level later on; half brother made a winning debut at three for these connections, and hopes must be high that this colt can make a similar impact, albeit at an earlier stage; ought to have the speed to start out over six furlongs.

21. Hypnotism (21/3 ch c Pivotal - Hypnotize)
Trainer: Sir Mark Prescott Owner: Cheveley Park Stud

Full brother to 6f 2yo debut winner Hip and a half brother to connections' Cheveley Park winner Hooray (also a 6f 2yo debut winner), 7f-1m winner (including at Listed level at two) Hypnotic, dual 7f 3yo winner Macedon and 1m 2yo debut winner Notorize, out of a smart dual 7f 2yo winner (including at Listed level) who was a half sister to Cherry Hinton winner/1000 Guineas third Dazzle. This colt is very much bred to come into his own at two over 6/7f, and the fact that his full sister made a winning debut and half sister Hooray did the same (for this yard) before going on to land the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes suggests this colt shouldn't take long in getting off the mark, particularly if debuting at one of the lesser tracks.

22. Intrinsic (2/4 b c Oasis Dream - Infallible)
Trainer: Sir Michael Stoute Owner: Cheveley Park Stud

First foal of a 7f 2yo debut/Nell Gwyn winner/1000 Guineas fourth who was a full sister to useful dual 7f winner Thrill and 7f 2yo fibresand winner New Decade and closely related to fairly useful 7f-1m winner Chilled out of a high-class 5-6f winner (including at Listed level). This colt is of obvious interest given that he is the first foal of Nell Gwyn winner/1000 Guineas fourth Infallible, herself a full sister to useful dual 7f winner Thrill and a half sister to 7f-1m winner Chilled; bred for speed and unlikely to stay further than 7f; interesting that this colt has ended up with Sir Michael Stoute rather than John Gosden, who trained both the dam and her smartest relation to date.

23. Jumaira Tower (3/5 b c Dubawi - Jumaireyah)
Trainer: Luca Cumani Owner: Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum

Full brother to connections' high-class 8-10f winner (including at Listed level) Afsare and a half brother to prolific 12-14f Flat/2m hurdle winner Trip The Light, useful 9-10f 3yo winner Reem Three (later dam of useful 7-12f winner Naqshabban) and 12f 3yo winner Qahriman, out of a useful 8-10f winner who was a half sister to several winners including smart middle distance stayer Lost Soldier Three. This colt hails from a family that his astute handler knows extremely well, and although it is unlikely the very best of this colt will be seen this term, he could well be worth keeping an eye out for in the latter stages of the season; will want a 1m but could well prove effective over 7f.

24. Kew Palace (26/3 ch c Kheleyf - New Assembly)
Trainer: Richard Hannon Owner: The Queen

Closely related to 10f 3yo winner Regents Park (by Green Desert) and a half brother to dual 6f winner (including on 2yo debut) Instalment, UK/US 7-9f winner Victoria Reel and 1m 3yo winner Small Fortune, out of a useful 9-10f 3yo winner who was a half sister to the very smart 7-9f winner (including at Group 1 level in the UAE) Right Approach and very useful 14f-2m winner Temple Way. This colt is from one of the speedier royal bloodlines, his half brother Instalment (by Cape Cross) able to make a winning debut over 6f at two (another half brother, General Synod, finished runner-up on debut over 7f); ought to be the most precocious of the dam's produce yet, being as he is a son of Kheleyf, and he is very much in the right hands to make an impact early on if coming to hand quickly.

25. Knight Owl (20/3 b c Invincible Spirit - Miss Invanhoe)
Trainer: James Fanshawe Owner: Annabelle Condon

(155,000gns) Second foal of a smart 7f-1m winner (including at Listed level) who was a half sister to multiple 8-10f winner (mainly AW) Rebellious Spirit, 1m 3yo winner Be Decisive and useful 7f 2yo winners Decision Maid and Trojan Princess out of a multiple 7-9f US winner who was a full sister to smart 6f-1m winner Palana and a close relation of very useful 6-7f winner Grangeville. Sold for plenty at auction and comes from a successful family, most of whom proved effective around a mile; stable take a patient approach with its youngsters, so it's unlikely this colt will be seen anytime soon; however, it wouldn't at all surprise to see this son of Invincible Spirit prove capable of winning his maiden at some stage this season, almost certain to start out over 7f.

26. Make The News (18/4 b c Montjeu - Market Slide)
Trainer: Dermot Weld Owner: Moyglare Stud Farm

Three parts brother to top-class 7-10f winner (including the 2000 Guineas and Eclipse Stakes) Refuse To Bend, very useful Irish/Qatari 7f-1m winner Domestic Fund (placed at Group 2 level), and 12f 3yo winner Ripple Of Pride (all by Sadler's Wells), closely related to useful dual 12f 3yo winner/Listed Race runner-up Notable Graduate (by Galileo) and a half brother to Melbourne Cup winner Media Puzzle, out of a useful dual 6f winner who was a half sister to very useful Irish 7f-1m/top-class 8-9f US winner Twilight Agenda. This smartly bred is from a family that has served these connections superbly well over the years, with close relation Refuse To Bend winning the 2000 Guineas and half brother to Melbourne Cup hero Media Puzzle; has the pedigree to do better over middle distances at three, but he is related to several that were able to win at least their maiden at two and no surprise to see this colt follow suit; likely to need 1m straight away.

27. Mooqtra (5/4 b c Invasor - Sayedat Alhadh)
Trainer: Kevin Prendergast Owner: Hamdan Al Maktoum

Half brother to connections' high-class 6-7f winners Haatef (including at Group 2/Listed level) and Walayef (including at Group 3/Listed level), smart multiple 6f winner (including at Listed level) Ulfah and smart dual 6f 2yo winner (including at Listed level) Shimah, out of a 7f winner in the US who was the daughter of Princess Margaret winner Muhbubh. This colt is a half brother to a trio of debut winners (all for this stable) and is bred to make his mark at two, although he is by a first season sire who was best at up to 10f (top-class dirt performer), so it could well be that 7f will be needed straight away; clearly going to be of great interest on debut.

28. Noor Al Watan (8/5 b c Raven's Pass - Shy Lady)
Trainer: John Oxx Owner: Jaber Abdullah

Half brother to very smart 2yo/top-class miler Zafeen, smart 6-7f winner (including at Listed level) Atlantic Sport, smart 6-7f 2yo winner (including at Group 3 level) Ya Hajar, useful Irish/UAE 7f-1m AW winner Youm Mutamiez, dual Irish/UAE 7f AW winner Fantastic Dubai 1m 2yo winner/2000 Guineas sixth Happy Today and 1m 2yo winner Akeed Wafi, out of a smart sprinter from the family of high-class speedster Diffident. This colt is out of a mare who has produced a handful of at least smart performers, most notably St James's Palace winner/2000 Guineas runner up Zafeen; a couple of others have made winning debuts, whilst one or two others have got off the mark at the second time of asking; in excellent hands, and surprising if this son of Raven's Pass couldn't end 2012 with at least one win to his name.

29. Pedro The Great (27/3 b c Henrythenavigator - Glatisant)
Trainer: Aidan O'Brien Owner: Michael Tabor

(150,000gns) Half brother to high-class 6-7f 2yo (including at Group 3 level)/2000 Guineas winner Footstepsinthesand, 6f 2yo winner Frappe (later dam of top-class 6-7f 2yo winner Power and Ribblesdale winner Thakafaat) and 12f-2m Flat/bumper winner Theme Song, out of a temperamental but smart 6-7f 2yo winner (including at Group 3 level) who was a half sister to smart middle distance stayer Rockerlong and the dam of very smart sprinter Superstar Leo. This colt is a half brother to connections' 2000 Guineas winner Footstepsinthesand and to the dam of their 2011 Group 1 winning 2yo Power, but the dam hasn't produced a whole lot else; however, it seems as though connections have an eye for spotting talent from the family and this colt sold for a decent sum at auction; could well have the speed to start out over 6f; very interesting prospect.

30. Piet Mondrian (5/4 gr c Danehill Dancer - Last Second)
Trainer: Aidan O'Brien Owner: Michael Tabor

Three parts brother to French 2000 Guineas winner Aussie Rules (by Danehill) and a half brother to high-class 7-10f winner (including at Listed level) Approach (later dam of smart middle distance colt Midas Touch), 1m 2yo winner/smart middle distance performer Intrigued and 10f 3yo winners Bold Glance and Timeline, out of a Nassau/Sun Chariot winner who was from the exceptional family of Alborada, Quarter Moon/Yesterday, Alleluia etc. This beautifully bred colt appeals as the type to do particularly well as a juvenile, being that his three parts brother was a debut winner over 7f who later won a Group 3 over the same distance; likely to be seen out in one of the better 7f maidens in Ireland.

31. Pivotal Movement (16/1 ch c Pivotal - Selinka)
Trainer: Richard Hannon Owner: Sir Alex Ferguson, Ged Mason, Ronnie Wood, Peter Done

(280,000gns) First foal of a high-class 6f-1m winner (including twice at Listed level) who was a half sister to 7f 2yo winner Swanky Lady out of a smart triple 6f winner (including at Listed level) who was the daughter of a half sister to high-class sprinters Bold Edge and Brave Edge. This colt cost a small fortune at auction and clearly took the eye, but he also makes plenty of appeal on pedigree; looks the type to make up into a 2yo, bred mainly for speed though likely to stay 7f; intriguing prospect for his top juvenile yard.

32. Point Of Control (29/1 b f Pivotal - Finlaggan)
Trainer: Michael Bell Owner: Lawrie Inman

(250,000gns) Full sister to high-class UK/US 5-9f winner (including at Grade/Group 3/Listed level) Needwood Blade and 1m 3yo debut winner Summers Lease and a half sister to smart 9-10f winner (including at Listed level) Australian Dreams, useful UK 6-7f 2yo/US 1m Grade 3 winner Islay Mist, 1m winners Feolin and Flashing Blade and 8-12f Flat/dual 2m hurdle/2m 2f chase winner Merveilles, out of an 11f-2m winner. This costly purchase is bred to make her mark as a two-year-old, and there is a good chance she will be up to showing her true colours almost immediately, being related to a few first time out winners; regardless of whether or not she wins on debut, this well-related daughter of Pivotal ought to prove capable of winning her maiden at the very least this year.

33. Point Piper (16/3 b c Giant's Causeway - Imagine)
Trainer: Aidan O'Brien Owner: Michael Tabor

Full brother to high-class Irish/UAE 7-10f winner (including at Group 2/Listed level) Viscount Nelson and a half sister to top-class multiple 7f 2yo winner (including the Group 1 Prix Jean Luc Lagadere) Horatio Nelson, 7f Group 3 Rockfel Stakes winner Kitty Matcham and 10f 3yo winner Red Rock Canyon, out of a top-class performer who won the Irish 1000 Guineas and Epsom Oaks and was a half sister to top-class middle distance performer Generous. This colt is related to a handful of at least smart performers, all of whom have raced for these connections and all of whom were able to make their mark as juveniles, particularly Group 1 winner Horatio Nelson; no reason why this colt should prove to be any different, and he is almost certain to debut in one of the better Irish maidens in the summer/autumn; likely to prove best over 7f this year.

34. Putra Eton (18/3 b c Danehill Dancer - Anna Pallida)
Trainer: Roger Varian Owner: H R H Sultan Ahmed Shah

(400,000gns) Half brother to smart 5-7f 2yo winner (including at Listed level) Pimpernel (Group 2 placed) out of a 10f 3yo winner who was a half sister to very smart 6-10f winner (including at Group 1 level in Hong Kong)/Derby runner-up Eagle Mountain and Prix Marcel Boussac winner/very smart middle distance stayer Sulk. This colt cost a packet at auction but with good reason, for he is a half brother to last season's smart juvenile Pimpernel and out of a half sister to Group 1 winners Eagle Mountain and Sulk; year older sister by Invincible Spirit won over 5f, but this son of Danehill Dancer likely to want six furlongs at the very least to begin with.

35. Qawaafy (1/3 b f Street Cry - Eswarah)
Trainer: Roger Varian Owner: Hamdan Al Maktoum

Half sister to connections' 7f 2yo winner/Fillies' Mile third Firdaws out of an Oaks winner who was a half sister to the smart 7f-1m winner/Irish 1000 Guineas third Umniyatee, smart 9-12f winner (including at Group 3 level) Itnab, very useful multiple 6f winner Haafiz, triple 1m 3yo winner Shumookh, very useful 10f 3yo winner Ghaidaa and multiple 11f-2m Flat/prolific 2m-2m 5f hurdle/2m-3m 4f chase winner Fatehalkhair out of 1000 Guineas/Oaks winner Midway Lady. From a family that this yard know extremely well, this daughter of Street Cry very much appeals as the type to make an impact over 7f/1m this term; her promising year older half sister went close on debut and, given the sire's excellent record with winning newcomers last year, it is easy to see this filly going one better first time out.

36. Richard Senior (7/4 b c Cape Cross - Sabria)
Trainer: Richard Hannon Owner: Andrew Tinkler

(160,000gns) Half brother to ill-fated Coventry/French 2000 Guineas winner Landseer, smart 8-10f winner (including at Listed level) Ikhtyar, modest triple 11f winner Credential, 1m 1f 3yo winner Maurice Utrillo and 10f 3yo winners Sabreon and Song Of Hiawatha, out of an unraced half sister to very useful 8-12f winner King Sound (placed at Group 3 level), family of Generous, Imagine and Triptych. This colt is another juvenile from the Hannon yard that commanded a sizeable fee at auction, and he appeals as the type to make up into a useful juvenile peformer, by a miler and a half brother to Coventry winner Landseer; could well start at 6f if he shows enough early to suggest he is Coventry material, but more than likely that this son of Cape Cross will kick off his career over seven furlongs.

37. Saadatt (20/3 b f New Approach - Ameerat)
Trainer: Roger Varian Owner: Sheikh Ahmed Al Maktoum

Half sister to 1m 2yo debut winners Oojooba and Sowaylm and 7f 3yo winners Kawssaj and Own Boss, out of a top-class 7f-1m winner (including the 1000 Guineas) who was a full sister to 1m 3yo winner Taakeed and a half sister to prolific 1m UAE winner Walmooh out of a fairly useful 8-12f winner. Obviously an interesting prospect for the season ahead, being a daughter of the yard's 1000 Guineas winner Ameerat; not produced anything out of the ordinary quite yet, but two of her foals have won on debut (including Oojooba, successful over 1m last autumn for these connections) and this filly could well follow suit at some stage in the second half of the season; should prove capable of striking over 7f but likely to be better suited by 1m eventually.

38. Sharaarah (26/2 b f Oasis Dream - Nidhaal)
Trainer: Ed Dunlop Owner: Hamdan Al Maktoum

Full sister to fair 5-6f 2yo AW winner Sadafiya and a half sister to smart 5f 2yo winner Burwaaz (placed at Group 2/3 level), out of a smart 6f 2yo winner (including at Listed level) for these connections who was a half sister to multiple middle distance winner/2m 1f-2m 2f hurdle scorer Maslak out of a 6f 2yo winner from the family of top-class middle distance performers Assert, Bikala and Eurobird. This filly is bred to be a speedy juvenile, both of her siblings precocious sorts for connections, including last season's smart sprinting juvenile Burwaaz; unlikely to be any different herself, and can be expected to start out in a 5/6f within the first few months of the season.

39. Silca's Dream (3/5 b c Oasis Dream - Silca-Cisa)
Trainer: Mick Channon Owner: Aldridge Racing Partnership

Half sister to the very smart dual 6f 2yo winner (including the Group 1 Prix Morny) Silca's Sister, high-class 5-9f winner (including at Group 2/3 level) Golden Silca, smart multiple 5-6f winner (including three times at Listed level) Green Manalishi, 6f 2yo winner/Moyglare Stud Stakes runner-up Silca Chiave and dual 6f 2yo winner Silca Legend, out of a very useful dual 5f 2yo winner (placed at Listed level). This filly is very much bred to make her mark at two over sprint distances, and she is from a family that has served these connections with distinction down the years; trainer seemingly gets the best out of this family, and this daughter of Oasis Dream is likely to be seen in one of the better 6f fillies' maidens during the summer (perhaps at Ascot's King George meeting in July).

40. Strawberry Jam (30/3 b c Duke Of Marmalade - Farfala)
Trainer: Paul Cole Owner: Ben & Sir Martyn Arbib

Half brother to smart 8-10f winner (including at Listed level) Under The Rainbow, dual 12f 3yo winner/Park Hill runner-up Starfala, modest 5f winner Mujma and 1m 2yo winners Speightstown and Swingland, out of a smart middle distance performer who was a half sister to very smart middle distance performers Alpine Rose, Fracassant, Fragrant Mix, Fascinating Mix and Fraloga. This colt is going to be need middle distances to be seen at his very best eventually, but most of his relations to have raced to date have proved capable of making their mark at two; likely to need 1m this term, but no surprise to see this son of first season sire Duke Of Marmalade chalk up a maiden win at the very least for a stable that know the family very well.

41. Superoo (7/4 ch c Bahamian Bounty - Roo)
Trainer: Mark Johnston Owner: Mel Pilkington

(40,000gns) Full brother to one-time useful 6-7f winner Gallagher (placed at Group 2 level at two) and a half brother to useful 5-7f winner Roodeye (Listed placed), useful UK/UAE 7-10f winner Quick Wit, multiple 6-7f winner Averoo, 6f 2yo debut winner Cockney Dancer and 7-10f Flat (including on debut)/2m hurdle winner Roodolph, out of a 5-6f 2yo winner who was a half sister to Gimcrack winner Bannister. This colt's pedigree strongly suggests he will prove up to winning a maiden at the very least this year, with two of his siblings making winning debuts as youngsters while several others either went close first time out or won on their second start; will probably be kept to sprint distances this season.

42. Tally Stick (23/1 b c Street Cry - Echoes In Eternity)
Trainer: Mahmood Al Zarooni Owner: Godolphin

Half brother to smart 9f-2m winner (including at Group 3/Listed level) Whispering Gallery and 10f 3yo debut winner Eavesdropper, out of a high-class 8-14f winner (including twice at Group 2 level) who was a half sister to King George winner Nathaniel, Fillies' Mile/very smart middle distance performer Playful Act, Yorkshire Cup winner/Derby fourth Percussionist and very smart US 10-11f winner (including twice at Grade 3 level) Changing Skies as well as a couple of others. This colt is from a fine middle distance family that includes last year's King George hero Nathaniel, whilst both of his siblings to have raced failed to make it to the track at two and stayed well in time; however, his sire showed time and time again last year that, even when paired with stoutly bred mares, his progeny were capable of making winning debuts at around 7f/1m; could well prove capable of making an impact at some stage towards the backend of the season in a 1m maiden.

43. Tassel (4/2 b f Kyllachy - Xtrasensory)
Trainer: Richard Hannon Owner: Highclere Thoroughbred Racing - Herbert Jones

(£42,000) Half sister to modest 7f-1m winner Redsensor, 5-6f 2yo winner Tishtar and 6f 2yo winners Fenella Rose and Responsive (useful), out of a 6f 2yo debut winner who was a half sister to fairly useful 5-7f winner Song Of Skye, 7f-1m 3yo AW winner Kingdom Princess and 5-6f winner Miriam out of a daughter of smart sprinter Penny Blessing. This filly is bred to be speedy and precocious and is certainly in the right hands to realise her full potential at two; will most likely prove capable of starting off over 5f around May/June, and a debut victory in her chosen maiden could well lead to an appearance at Royal Ascot.

44. Taxonomy (25/2 ch c Pivotal - Suez)
Trainer: Mahmood Al Zarooni Owner: Godolphin

Half brother to connections' unbeaten and top-class 7f-1m 2yo winner (including the Group 1 Fillies' Mile) Lyric Of Light out of a smart dual 6f 2yo winner (including at Listed level)/Cheveley Park runner-up ho was a half sister to smart New Zealand miler Polish Princess out of a maiden half sister to the very smart 9-10f winner (including the Group 1 Irish Champion Stakes) Cezanne, Irish Oaks winner Colorspin (later dam of top-class stayer Kayf Tara, very smart middle distance performer Opera House and Prix de l'Opera winner Zee Zee Top), very smart 7-10f winner Bella Colora (later of high-class duo Mullins Bay and Stagecraft) and to several other winners out of a high-class middle distance performer. This colt hails from a very successful family, and year older half sister Lyric Of Light continued that success when winning the May Hill and Fillies' Mile last term following on from a winning debut; wouldn't be at all surprising to this son of Pivotal prove quick sharp to debut over 6f, his sire a top-class sprinter and the dam a dual 6f winning Cheveley Park second.

45. Wallenberg (17/3 b c Rock Of Gibraltar - Waldmark)
Trainer: John Gosden Owner: Newsells Park Stud & Rachel Hood

(85,000gns) Half brother to 1m 2yo debut/St Leger winner Masked Marvel and 10f winners Gifted Icon and Sadler's Mark, out of a 7f 2yo debut winner (later placed at Group 2/Listed level) who was a half sister to German Derby winner Waldpark and very useful 8-15f Flat (including at Listed level)/2m hurdle winner Waldvogel out of a German Leger winner. This colt is of obvious interest given the exploits of his year older half brother last season, ending his three-year-old campaign by capturing the St Leger for this stable; this colt will probably want middle distances in time, but both his dam and classy sibling were able to make winning debuts and, being a son of a top-class miler, this colt should prove capable of making some sort of impact at two at around 7f/1m.

46. Winterlude (17/3 b c Street Cry - New Morning)
Trainer: Mahmood Al Zarooni Owner: Godolphin

Full brother to very promising 2011 7f 2yo debut winner Mighty Ambition and a half brother to useful 8-12f 3yo winner Sadeek's Song out of a high-class 10-12f winner (including at Group 3 level) who was a full sister to the top-class 10-12f winner Islington, very smart 10-11f winner Greek Dance, smart 10-13f winner/Gold Cup third Election Day and very useful triple 10f winner Greek Well and a half sister to the very smart 10-12f winner Mountain High, useful 7f-1m winner Desert Beauty and 12f-2m 1f Flat/triple 2m hurdle winner Praxiteles out of Yorkshire Oaks winner/Leger runner-up Hellenic, excellent family. This colt hails from an excellent middle distance family, but his sire enjoyed a hugely successful 2011 with his 2yos including with several winning on debut (mainly from this stable); interesting to see whether this colt can make the same kind of impact in his juvenile campaign.

47. Unnamed (27/2 b c Oasis Dream - Arrive)
Trainer: Sir Michael Stoute Owner: Khalid Abdulla

Full brother to high-class 6-7f winner (both at Group 3 level; placed at Group 1 level; later very smart at up to 10f in the US) Visit and 7f 2yo winner Revered and a half sister to the very smart 7-10f winner (including at Group 1 level) Promising Lead, out of a useful 10-14f 3yo winner who was a full sister to excellent producer Hasili, dam of Banks Hill, Cacique, Champs Elysses, Dansili, Heat Haze and Intercontinental. This colt hails from a fine Juddmonte bloodline, and his stable has already sent out both of his full sisters to victory, including dual Group 3 scorer Visit; difficult to pin down what his ideal distance will be, but more than likely that he will begin his career in one of the better 7f maidens this summer.

48. Unnamed (1/3 b c Kheleyf - Blue Echo)
Trainer: Michael Bell Owner: Saleh Al Homaizi & Imad Al Sagar

(220,000gns) Second foal of a smart 5-6f winner (including twice at Listed level) who was a half sister to smart 7-9f winner (including twice at Listed level) Putra Pekan, dual 6f 2yo Irish winner/very smart 7-9f US winner (including at Grade 2/3 level) Sapphire Ring, lowly 5-6f winner (including on 2yo debut) Ice Age and 5f 2yo debut winner Orange And Blue, out of a 5f 3yo winner who was a half sister to smart sprinter Rich Charlie and prolific sprint winners Hout Bay and Torrent. This costly purchase is bred to make his mark at sprint distances at two, being the second foal of a 5-6f 2yo winner who was a half sister to several juvenile scorers including debut winners Orange And Blue and Sapphire Ring; could well be out fairly early, and no surprise if he were to prove himself above average.

49. Unnamed (29/1 b c Raven's Pass - Delphinus)
Trainer: Roger Varian Owner: Alan Spence

(150,000gns) Half brother to high-class multiple 5f winner (including at Group 3/Listed level) Captain Gerrard, smart 7f-1m winner/2000 Guineas fifth Saturn (later a high-class middle distance performer in Hong Kong, winning at Group 3 level) and multiple 6-7f winner Glocca Morra, out of a 10f 3yo winner who was a half sister to 7f-1m winner Deserve and the daughter of Lupe Stakes winner Scimitarra, herself a half sister to top-class sprinter Double Form. This colt is only the fifth foal of his mare (retired to stud in the mid-1990's), but two of her offspring are already Group winners, most recently the smart speedster Captain Gerrard; unlikely to have the speed of that colt (who was by Oasis Dream), and is more than likely to start out over seven furlongs.

50. Unnamed (9/5 ch f Monsieur Bond - Forever Bond)
Trainer: Bryan Smart Owner: Reg Bond

(£147,000) Full sister to the very smart multiple 5-6f winner Hoof It (placed at Group 1 level), high-class 5-6f winner (including at Group 3/Listed level) Ladies Are Forever and multiple 5-6f (mainly on the AW) Forever's Girl, closely related to dual 6f 2yo winner Bop It (by Misu Bond) and a half sister to multiple 6-9f winner (mainly on the AW) Chosen Forever, out of an unraced half sister to smart sprinter Ratio and useful 6-7f winner Heywood. This filly will almost certainly prove capable of making her mark at sprint distances somewhere down the line this season, for all she is a late foal; certainly in the right hands to be seen at her best at two, and a very interesting proposition for the season ahead.

Min Banat Alreeh (Oasis Dream ex Tarishaya)
3yo b f; Trainer: R. Varian; Owner: Hamdam Al Maktoum.
A full brother to top juvenile Arcano, a Grade 1 and Grade 2 winner who never quite materialised as a 3yo. Kept in training when not making the track last year, and could be a good prospect.

Elidor Cape Cross ex Honorine)
2yo b c; Trainer: M. Channon.
Half-sister to Irish derby winner, Derby 2nd, Secertariat stakes winner Treasure Beach, sired by Cape Cross sire to Sea The Stars.

Unnamed (Galileo ex Secret Garden)
2yo filly; Trainer: Unknown; Owner: Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan
Sister to Roderic O'Connor, Irish 2000 Guineas and Criterium International winner and half-brother to Weatherstaff a Grade 3(AW) placed juvenile. I've got a note saying AP O'Brien stable but I can't find any evidence which trainer she'll be with so I'm not sure about that.

Muhtaris (Teofilo ex Fann)
2yo b c; Trainer: S. Bin Suroor; Owner: Godolphin.
(Second Foal) Full brother to Black Arrow a German Listed winner and Grade 3 placed from 2 two starts. Dam a Listed placed and 1m1f winner.

Unnamed (Teofilo ex Kite Mark)
2yo;
Closely related to Grade 2 winner, triple Grade 3 winner and St Leger 2nd Kite Wood (Kite Mark's sire Galileo sired Teofilo).

Our 1st horse makes his Debut tomorrow.

Beepee, as I am sure you're aware, there are a fair few of the unraced 3yos entered up over the coming days, mostly at Leopardstown tomorrow. O'Brien is almost certain to have at least two from this thread running in the first two races. Personally hoping to see Chicago debut in the 4.55.

By the way, the ex Fann 2yo put up by Drogerson has been named Muhtaris. There are only six 2yos left to be named from my list of 50.

Tomorrow we have 3 out over in Ireland

4.25 Leopardstown

4.55 Leopardstown

Chicago
Montjeu – Lady Karr
A P O'Brien
Closely related to group 3 winner Mikhail Glinka who stayed 2 mile, being Sired by Montjeu we can full expect this colt to be full of Stamina. He is out of a 12 furlong winning half Sister to Derby winner Sir Percy and trained by the Irish Master A P O’Brien

The 4.25 looks a very competitive race which we have 2 in and we also have half sister to Blue Bunting in French Hen and half sister to Kazzia in Seducing. Which means I agree with Aidan and am more confident on Chicago in the 4.55, but I'm more looking forward to the 4.25 that could turn out to be a very telling maiden.

My 2 year olds hopefully will be on the Thread tonight, tomorrow night at the latest.

UNNAMED
Dylan Thomas – Sogno Verde
R Hannon
2 years ago Peter Doyle spent 80K on a yearling out of Sogno Verde and he went out 3 months later to buy that yearling little sister for £135k. That yearling was Lilbourne Lad that went on to win £168k prize money last season winning the Railway Stakes and finishing 2nd in the Middle Park. Sogno Verde only other foal won over 7 furlongs as a 2 year old and was 2nd in both Listed and group 3 contests. Being Sired by Dylan Thomas you can expect this filly to prefer 7 furlongs to a mile rather than the 6 furlong suited by Lilbourne Lad.

Jayed Jidan
Teofilo — Cassandra Go
Hamden Al Maktoum
I’m not sure who will train this, but it has been named in Ireland. He is half brother to 1000 guineas winner Halfway to Heaven who won at 7 furlongs at 2 as well as G3 winner Theann as well as other minor winners. Dam won the Kings Stand and Sired by unbeaten 2 year old Teofilo who’s First Crop last year looked useful. Dam was half-sister to Verglas who won the Coventry stakes as well as Persian Secret who was a useful sprinter and has foaled a useful sprinter.

UNNAMED
Teofilo — Scarlett Rose
Brian Meehan
Sales Price trebled to £180k from Foal to Yearling for this half Sister to Railway Stakes winner Formosia. Dam was disappointing on course but was related to a number of 2 year old winners and as Formosia showed there is enough young speed in the pedigree to show through. Sired by Teofilo who looks as he could be shaping as a good young Sire.

Manticore
Dark Angel — Bellacoola
Richard Hannon
Brought by Yeomanstud (where his Sire stands) for 18k as a foal which proved to be a good bit of business as Peter Doyle brought him last year for 145k. This colt is the half brother to listed placed sprinter Prinze Glas in France. Dam was a German winner related to Group 2 and Group 3 winners and his Sire had the most 2 year old wins than any other First Crop Sires in the UK and leading 1st season sire in Ireland. Sire looks to be a 2 year old specialist and this Colt who is by far the costliest in his family is going to be trained by R Hannon who has always been a specialist with his 2 year olds.

Count of Lemonade
Duke Of Marmalade — Hoity Toity
A P O’Brien
5th foal, but he will be only the 3rd to race and will be the 1st Colt to race. He is half sister to double group 1 winner Lille Langtry, also Group 2 and Group 3 winner at 2. Sired by Duke of Marmalade who is only having his 1st crop this season. Trained by the arguably the best in the business A P O’Brien

Sparkle Plenty
Galileo — Gwynn
Andre Fabre
Unfortunately keeping tabs on this one is going to be difficult as he will trained in France. This 800k purchase is Full Sister to Kissed winner of only start at 2, as well as being closely related to Derby winner Pour Moi (9 furlong winner at 2), mile 2 year old winner and later a group 3 winner Gagnoa. Remember the name as I expect her to be one of the best 2 year olds in Europe in the Autumn.

Passing Parade
Cape Cross — Model Queen
Sir Henry Cecil
Half million filly who is half sister to Group 1 winner Regal Parade and last years Acomb stakes winner Entifaadha as well as the useful Hot Prospect and Mount Helicon. Dam is from the family of Dewhurst and 2000 Guineas winner Zafonic.

UNNAMED
Dansili — Flawly
A P O’Brien
Not a family well known in Britain, but this colt was brought in by Ballydoyle 480k could be very useful. He is the Half Brother to Group 3 winner and French Derby runner up Best Name as well as unbeaten 3 year old German group 3 winner February Sun. His Dam was placed in a group 3 in the US. Will be best over middle distances in 2013, but A P O’Brien usually likes to have them ready as a 2 year old and Dansili may just add enough sharpness into this colt for us to see him over a mile in the Autumn.

Pembroke
Excellent Art — Mrs Marsh
William Haggas
Costing just over 200k, he is the most expensive son of Mrs Marsh yet. He is the half brother to 5 time Group 1 winner Canford Cliffs. This Colt is Sired by Excellant Art who looks to me as a potential 2 year old specialist. He will be best at 6 Furlongs, but as the below quote suggests we won’t be seeing him early in the year.
William has decided to give Pembroke a month’s break to give him a chance to mature and develop physically. He is now at Benson Stud in Essex where he will remain until the end of March when he will go back into training with William.
quote from Highclere Stud Website

Ask Dad,
Intikhab — Don´t Tell Mum
R Hannon
Dam was a 2 year old winner, both Full Brothers were 2 year old winners including Tell Dad who won a group 3 trained by a 2 year old specialist suggests his best days will at 2.

UNNAMED

Montjeu (IRE) (11.7f) — Shadow Song (IRE) –
A P O’Brien
Full brother to Criterium wining, Irish Derby place Jan Vermeer as well as being closely related to Group 3 winning 2 year old, 1000 guineas placed and US Group 1 winner Together. Dam was a winner in France and sister to May Hill winner Midnight Air who was herself a dam of another May Hill winner and Oaks 3rd. Plenty of Top Class winners in pedigree and a Family A P O’Brien knows well.

UNNAMED
Galileo – Ouija Board
Ed Dunlop
3rd foal of super 8 time group 1 winning Filly including Oaks and Breeders Cup. She will be better over middle distances, but being the 1st Filly we will hopefully see her Dams ability come through. Ouij Board did win at 2 and the pairing with Galileo would be a surprise if this Filly wasn’t very useful.

She’s Late
Pivotal – Courting
John Gosden
8th Foal of Courting and 6 of them have won and I expect the 7th Commitment to be winning this year as well. Half brother to Fury who was unbeaten at 2 and won the Tatts Millions 2YO Trophy. Sired by Pivotal who is a very good sire of 2 year olds makes me think that this Colt should be in the winning enclosure this season. Gosden brought for 120k which makes him the most expensive progeny of Courting yet. Courting herself was a useful 7 furlong 2 year old winner and half sister to a 7 furlong Group 3 2 year old winner.

Duke Cosimo
Pivotal – Nannina
Sir M Stoute
Brother to Duke of Firenze, a 2 year old winner last year and is only the 2nd Foal of Naninna winner of the Fillies Mile and Coronation Stakes and was the half siter to Sea Vixen winner of her sole 2 year old start and the ill-fated 2 year old debutant winner Queen Scarlet. Pedigree is full of quality at 2 and I don’t expect this Colt to let the family down.

Mutajally
Teofilo – Dhelaal
Sir M Stoute
My 2nd Dhelaal horse on the thread, half Brother to 2000 guineas winner Makfi. Dam was unraced half sister to champion 2 year old Alhaarth

Melvin the Grate
Danehill Dancer (IRE) (8.2f) — Hawala (IRE)
Andrew Balding
A 200K purchase who is the 9th foal of mile winner Hawala, all 8 previous have won including Foxtrot Romeo on debut last season, group 3 winner Air Chief Marshall and Listed winner Misu Bond who are all Full Brothers.

Flashy Approach
New Approach – Flashy Wings
J Oxx
Dam won her 1st 4 starts at 2 including the Lowther and Queen Mary, her Grand Dam was also a Juvenile winner and New Approach has started well with his 1st 2 year old this year so I’m hoping this Colt will follow in the footsteps and be another 2 year old winner

UNNAMED
Galileo –Massarra
A P O’Brien
Despite the disappointment of Nayarra early last season he did win the Criterium when stepped up to a mile and I’ve decided to stick with the family especially as he will be trained by A P O’Brien and adding Galileo into a family fun of ability already has to see positive results. The extended family have a lot of quality both over speed and stamina, but with the Galileo influence this horse will be best over a mile this season.

Morpheus
Oasis Dream – Kind
Sir Henry Cecil
Half Brother to Frankel, need I say more. Sired by Oasis Dream who adds mores speed in his progeny that Galileo so this Colt may not stay a mile quite like his Famous half-brother does.

Related
Kheleyf - Balladonia
Clive Cox
Balladonia was a winner over 9 furlongs, but despite this her progeny her progeny are better at the sprint distances at 2 years. All 4 that have race have won including Wooton Bassett who was unbeatable at 2. Sired by Kheleyf who is a 2 year old specialist should see this selection being able to pick up a few wins over 5-6 furlongs this season.

Defiant Spirit
Compton Place – Muffled
R Charlton
Half Brother to Rafeej who looked impressive in his 2 starts last year as well as 3 other minor 2 year old winners. Dam is the half sister to a Cheveley Park Stake winner and a Poule d’Essai winners which suggests there is good juvenile breeding in the family. Family do appear to like the All Weather and this horse maybe more to follow in end of season Nurseries.

Rockpool
Rock of Gibralter – Waterfall one
R Charlton
Added to the list after last years 2 year old thread threw up Waterclock a 25/1 winner on debut who happens to be Rockpools half brother, also half brother to Water Biscuit who won at 7 furlongs. Dam was poor on the racecourse, but was sister to Spoken a mile winner at 2 and her grand-dam was a double group 3 winner. Should be best at a mile at the end of the season.

Musicianship
Cape Cross – Musical Treat
Godolphin
Godolphin have picked this colt up for 500k and it is not a surprise the price tag was high when he is half Brother to top class 2 year old and double guineas winner Finsceal Beo as well as German 2000 guineas winner Frozen Power.

Russian Realm
Dansili – Russian Rhythm
Sir M Stoute
The 1st Colt foal of the multiple group 1 winner Russian Rhythm. Fillies have shown a bit of ability Sired by Pivotal, but I feel Dansili is a better partnership which should allow this Colt to compete not just over 6 furlongs but later in the season over a mile.

UNNAMED
Galileo – Light Shift
Sir Henry Cecil
Dam won the Oaks, sister to a Group 1 winner as well as a group 2 winner and out of an Arc runner up. Family is full of quality and we are yet to see a foal of Light Shift on the course, but we have heard good reports about Dr Yes and a pairing with Galileo should be a safe bet to produce a winner.

UNNAMED
Galileo – Love Me True
A P O’Brien
His Dam is from a good US family, but she has already produced the world class Duke of Marmalade as well as 2 year old winners Looking Lovely and Soinlovewithyou. Sired by IMO the best sire around which makes me believe this Colt could follow in Duke of Marmalade horse shoes.

Mansoreen
Monsun – Mandellicht
S Bin Suroor
Full Brother to Manduro and will be half brother to Group 1 placed Mandela. Highly thought of family all over the world and Godolphin spent a cool 3 million to get this mare. Will be best over middles distances so don’t expect to see until very late in the year.

UNNAMED
New Approach – Hotelgenie Dot Com
Mick Channon
Another from the 1st Crop of New Approach, this 250k filly is the half sister to Fillies Mile and Falmouth winner Simply Perfect. Dam was placed in the Moyglare and Fillies Mile and was half sister to Moyglare/Lowther winner Bianca Nera.

Nazym
Galileo – Brigid
Sir Michael Stoute
This Filly has been brought for 1.7 million, probably for future breeding, but that shouldn’t stop her showing some use of the track. Brigid was usually paired with Sasdlers Wells resulting in Sequoyah Group 1 7 furlong 2 year old winner (later Dam of HenrytheNavigator) and Listen winner of the Fillies Mile and a 2.5 million purchase that never raced. Galileo should prove to be a suitable replacement for Sadlers Wells

UNNAMED
Nayef – Red Camellia
William Haggas
Half Brother to Red Bloom winner of the Fillies Mile, a 100k purchase at the sales by H Al Maktoum means he is the most expensive purchase of the family. Also Half Brother to Listed winner Red Gala and mile 2 year old winner Botanist. Dam was a 7 furlong Group 3 winner before being placed in the French Guineas

UNNAMED
Galileo – Airwave
David Wachman
Brother to Aloof mile winner at 2, and half brother to useful 2 year old Meow. Dam was a very speedy sort who beat Russian Rhythm in the Cheveley Park Stakes before winning the Temple Stakes. Dam is the half sister to several sprint winners and it will be interesting to see how much stamina Galileo installs into this Colt

UNNAMED
New Approach – Illustrious Miss
Godolphin
Illustrious Miss herself a group 3 winner has had 4 foals so far, all winners. Her best so far was Gamilati last years Cherry Hilton/Lowther winner.

Ziggie Stardust
Sixties Icon – Aileens Gift
J W Hills
At 58K this is the most expensive purchase in the family to date. He is the half-brother to Samitar winner of the Albany stakes in Royal Ascot and never out the 1st 3 in some competitive races last year as well as Group 3 winning 2 year old Nijoom Dubai. Sixties Icon is having his 1st crop this year and you have to imagine he will be installing stamina in his progeny which may mean this colt won’t be seen until late in the year.

Romantic Settings
Mount Nelson – Lacework
Richard Fahey
She is a lovely, straightforward filly cantering away and doing everything very easily. She won’t take long to get to the races.” Richard Fahey, re half-sister to Miss Work of Art quote from the Mount Nelson website
The family look to be bred for 2 year olds, Miss Work of Art was by far the best early 2 year old last year and if this one can come on the same she could get a few wins under her belt before most of the 2 year olds really get started.

Hornboy
Medicean – Soar
Jeremy Noseda
Full brother to 2 year old winner Racy. Dam was the winner of the Princess Margaret/Lowther Stakes and herself out of a Listed 6 furlong winner. Trained by Noseda who had a 26% strike rate with his 2 year olds last season and with the juvenile sprint breeding in Hornboys pedigree then any repeat of that feat will surely see this colt winning.

Parallax
Galileo – Moonlights Box
Sir Henry Cecil
Brought back for 200k suggesting he is highly though off by his breeders. He is half Brother to top class 2 year old Bago later winning the Arc, Maximos a mile Group 3 2 year old winner and Beta Listed 2 year old winner. Moonlights Box was unraced, but was half sister to a few useful 2 year olds and is from the extended family of Machiavellion. Should be a useful middle distance type and probably won’t be seen until the Autumn

Run It Twice
Dark Angel – Alinda
Brian Meehan
At 75K he is been a much more expensive purchase than his siblings so far who have both been juvenile winners. Dam was a juvenile winner and half sister to several other juvenile winners including Group 2 winner Rich Ground. I was impressed with Dark Angels 1st crop last year and I think he will make what is already a good juvenile family even better.

Superb list, Beepee. Really good. There are a lot of 2yos in there who I myself was looking at adding. Really looking forward to the Flat season now after reading all of that.

As for tomorrow, I doubt you will see a better bred collection of horses than the 4.25 at Leopardstown tomorrow. I fully concur with your assessment, that Jude's female offspring have been far superior to their male counterparts. I shall be backing Betterbetterbetter and also Chicago in the following maiden, so hopefully O'Brien has them fit and ready to roll first time out.
