|
|
|
Welcome to week 13 of SUPERBOLBG II - Matches to be played on Sunday & Monday the 3rd and 4th of December. Only 5 regular season matches remain and so wins are now vital for all.......
Rules of play
The 4 ‘Quarter’ questions
There will be 7 points on offer for ALL 4 QUESTIONS and the usual 3 point bonus offer and the further 7 point bonus will be available for each question. To make it simpler, no matter what the answer is you will receive the 3 point bonus for getting within 10% of the answer and the 14 points (7 points for the win and 7 points for the bonus) will be given for getting within 1% of or spot on the mark with your answer!. Same rules apply with receiving bonus points for getting close to the score even despite possibly losing the question.
So, All 4 questions are the same bonus points. All 4 questions are 7 point questions.
7 points for the win
3 points for being within 10% - win or lose
7 points for being within 1% or exact - win or lose
In the event of a tie there will be no more ‘1st poster’ rule primarily as we now send the predictions by PM (PM remains). In the event of a tie the match is settled by adding all the predictions together and the winner is the one nearest to the total of all the answers. They will receive an extra 3 points in OVERTIME. (In the unlikely event of this still being a tie then 1st poster rule applies)
This format will be the same right through the comp to the Final. No ‘extra’ questions in the play offs as before.
All answers to the 4 quarter questions will be taken from the official NFL website- NFL.com
All predictions sent by PM to me by 18:00 every Sunday, but it would help me if they’re sent earlier!
WEEK 13 MATCH UPS
Vital match up in the AFC NORTH as HOGSBACK entertains SEVVY69. A win for HOGSBACK and he's 3 games clear with 4 games to go!
Couple of Divisional matches with EBOOKCONVERTER travelling to play FLORIDIAN and BORUTKO hard on the heels of RJHOLLAND will play the resurgent SCOOBYDOO68 in the NFC WEST. The AFC NORTH also sees UNDERTHEROBE and MANAFANA square off for the second time. They met in week 10 where UNDERTHEROBE won 31-7.
Off we go again!................ _________________ 31 out of 33 Profitable Months Since Joining in September 2009

WEEK 13 NEAREST THE BULL QUESTIONS
A return to a bit of normality on the questions this week to give everyone less of a headache!
QUARTER 1 – 7 points - RUSSIAN REVOLUTION!
It's not just a passing game this NFL lark you know? They are plenty of top Running backs on show through Sundays matches including the likes of Forte, Foster, Turner and Mendenhall etc. How many RUSHING touchdowns will be scored across all Sunday matches (Late game included!)
QUARTER 2 - 7 points - A GIANT EFFORT REQUIRED
The late game sees the imperious Packers go into Meadowlands to face the meagre Giants. Coming off the back of consecutive losses the Giants need a big game from Eli Manning. What will be the total passing yards of both Manning and Rodgers in the game?
QUARTER 3 – 7 points - CHEESEHEADS SEEING YELLOW?
Staying in New York for the Giants/Packers game. How many penalty yards will be committed in the game from both teams?
QUARTER 4 - 7 points - IN NEED OF A SPARK!
The Chargers season is all about done, The Jags were about done 3 weeks ago! Who really wants to watch this game? Well probably all of us if we're needing the points!!!!
Add together the following for the closer to Week 13 in SUPERBOLBG...
Rivers Pass Percentage +
Rivers Longest Completed Pass +
Maurice Jones-Drews Rushing Yards +
Maurice Jones-Drews Rushing Attempts
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!! _________________ 31 out of 33 Profitable Months Since Joining in September 2009

It has been a horribloe week for those inside the tean at the Euroborg. Not only did we have the long return trip from Candyland Park to undertake, but a few niggling injuries and a lot of hype in the paper about the "gruelling" schedule that was awaiting those heroes in green and white.
Well.. we got through the journey back home to Groningen alright and on wednesday it was time to stretch the legs and get over some strategic planning. This all went well and after getting rid of possible spy "Puggy Pever" who showed up in full attire, it was time for some closed door training sessions and we became aware that for hthe second week running our most praised LineBacker wont start again. Last week it did not hurt us too much, but what really was impressive was the performance of the back up quaterback in the 4th quarter. Expect more of the same this week.
Talking about this week. It was a long haul to SmoggySwamp where we have to play our next match. The good thing is, Smoggy managed to actually get his park to look like something out of (at least 2000) as there is now floodlights at the park. Good job, Smoggy....
We have settled in and as we write to you on this late friday evening it is time to get a goofd night sleep even though for some reason the church nex to the hotel is ringing it bells right now...weird...there is still 13min to go till midnight... whoooaaaaa wait a second.... SSMMMOOOGGGGGGGYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Calm down Gron, you make it sound like a third world setup, and not home to the most productive offence and defence on SuperOLBG |

After two horrible nights of sleep at the Smoggy Inn near the SmoggySwamp we have come to the conclusion that mastermind and general manager SmoggyFever has definitely bribed the bell ringers to ring the churchbell at all hours...
what SmoggyFever was unaware off was the fact that we trained for this via our emergency drill where we use some toffees taken from the clubhouse at our last opponent to seal off our ears. All is good now, but training was a bit hard with toffee stuck in all but one of the players ears.
It is just a few hours before kickoff now and the pre game press cofenrece from both team was a lot of fun to listen too, because both teams have a lot of respect o reach other despite the (fun) stabs at each other and the constant trash talking. This game could very well end up to be the "game of the year" with both managers fired up and ready to go at the side of the pitch now and definitely in the press conference earlier..
The lineups are in and on the Gronniceguy side there are three substitutes that are lining up probably which will not help the 1st Q defense, and that is exactly where they needed the help so far.
Can the NUMBER 1 ranked OFFENSE and DEFENSE be beaten?
Can the UNBEATEN Home run by Smnoggyfever been beaten?
Did you know that Gronniceguy is UNBEATEN against the NFC North??
Lets get ready to fummmmbbbbllleeeeeeeee |
