| Bit early since I don't even think the nominations have been announced, but I placed a bet on Django Django winning at 11/1 on Paddy Power. The album was released earlier this year to mass critical acclaim and if it makes the short list expect the price to come down. |

| Django Django make the shortlisted. Depending on where you go the favourites are either Plan B, Richard Halwely or Alt J. Alt J were actually evens at one point and being called the new Radiohead won't do them any harm. Fancy a cheeky wee side bet on them! |

The odds as they are right now:
It seems Paddy Power have taken evasive action on a potential Richard Hawley betting coup but nobody else seems to have done so as he's fairly easy to back.
No weird red herring gamble which is a bit odd but there's just over 60 hours or so that some inevitably late late sneaky shyster in-the-know/completely-off-the-mark bets will be placed. |

William Hill reported a late gamble on Richard Hawley and Jessie Ware.
There was a 'monster' of a late gamble on Field Music from 16/1 down to 5/2 second favourite in the last few hours before 10pm but for the third year running the favourite wins and this time it was Alt-J. |
