It is britains got talent, much the same as opportunity Knock was, as Search for a Star was, and certainly Stars in thier Eyes in which 99% of the entrants were professional singers.

Its a talent contest and there are no rules about what they do for a living.

You can probably distinguish between the ones that make a living and the 100% amateurs...

Been away for a week on holiday so my first chance to comment on the result.

Looks like my initial assessment using YouTube was correct (when I suggested we ignore the old lady and back Spellbound). The lession for me in all this is to stick with my inner gut feelings and research. Did not bet in the end as so many were suggesting it was such a risky bet and I have to admit that dog act and the old lady did worry me but the best won out in the end.
