50 words total, hopefully people will write more this would be an acceptable comment:
example comment:
I have backed england defending champions even without kp they showed in the final t20i what they can do with bat and ball. Kohli for top bat hes been fantastic this year with a high odi avg and solid t20 batting. Malinga for bowler he loves his home conditions and will bowl final overs. West indies for most 6s gayle alone could do it but he is backed up by pollard and a tail that can hit about.
im more interesting in winner comments, but please ad a sentence at least on other 3 choices. |

Graham's Lucky Dip
Main Questions:
Winning Team: - West Indies
Top Batsman: - V Sehwag
Top Bowler (wickets): - S Ajmal
Team with most 6s: - W Indies
Comments:
I have sided with the West Indies to cause a bit of a surprise, they have a good alround team and with the likes of Gayle, Pollard and Narine world class. I am unsure who will challenge them Australia are a little iffy at the moment, S Lanka could do well but I am unsure about the other so called main teams who seem so inconsistent at the present time.
The top batsman is difficult with the likes of Levi, Watson, Gayle, Gambhir, Sehwag, Dilshan, Amla & Morgan all in contention. I will settle with V Sehwag from India he did well in the IPL.
The top bowler is difficult with many class bowlers on show in the tournament, I have settled with S Ajmal from Pakistan who has given excellent performances for his Country in recent months.
Team with the most sixes must go to W Indies with Gayle, Pollard & Smith.

Comments: Pakistan have been the most consistent team in the 20/20 tournaments despite all their problems with a win, a runner up and a semi. They have things going well at the moment and will be tough to beat with a good all round team.
I am sure the top batsman will be an opener and with some of the openers only there for 20/20, they will be hit and miss against the best bowlers in the world. Gayle has consistently dismissed the best bowling in the world and if on form will score a lot.
The games will be played on the same pitches in the Sri Lankan Premier League last month and in that tournament the medium/fast bowlers came off best. However as the tournament progresses I feel as though the pitches willg et slower and lower and suit the spin more. Ajmal is the best in the world bowling slow in this format and will take wickets.
Difficult one with the 6's England have lots of batsman that can strike 6's but non play spin all that well, while Australia and South Africa will be relying on proper batsmen to get their runs so 6's will not be easy to come by. Pakistan, Sri Lanka and West Indies should go a long way in the tournament but only have 2 or 3 players who will hit 6's. For me India will not be worried by the spin and will attack it. lastly, most of their top 6 hit 6's for fun.

Comments:
Captain Cool MS Dhoni can lead India to the Twenty20 World Cup. You need a good captain for this format and Dhoni has the experience and the wisdom to get the wins in Twenty20 cricket. The batting looks very promising indeed for India. Sehwag and Gambhir will provide a good opening partnership, then the likes of Kohli, Raina, Yuvraj Singh and Dhoni can get a high total for their side. The bowling is not as strong, but Khan and Ashwin are talented bowlers.
If Chris Gayle is at his best, then he should easily be the top batsmen. He scored 733 runs at the IPL and can hit six runs very easily.
It was either Narine or Malinga for most wickets, and purely due to his performance at the IPL, I've gone for Narine. Most batsmen struggled to play against Narine. He ended up with 24 wickets and the best economy rate.
It was a choice between India and West Indies for most sixes, but I've opted for India due to the big hitters in Raina, Yuvraj, Sehwag and Dhoni and also because I believe they will get further than West Indies.

Perenial chokers I hear you say but team in best form after thoroughly outplaying england in test format, confidence sky high for me and have big batting weapons in Amla, Kallis and bowling with Steyn and Morkel. Chris Gayle obvious choice as top batsman, loves to smash it, just needs to stay in long enough. Going for Ajmal as top bowler as think will be a lot of spinner friendly pitches at the tournament, was leading wicket taker for Pakistan in 2010 World Cup and looks set to have a good tournament. As i am unsure how far West Indies will go in tournament will go with India for most sixes with Sehwag, Kohli and Pathan all capable of big hitting and noramlly score heavy

Main Questions:
Winning Team: - England
Top Batsman: - Craig Kieswetter
Top Bowler (wickets): - Irfan Pathan
Team with most 6s: - South Africa
Comments:
The four qualifying groups are seeded with the first two going through to the super eights. Group 1 has the potential to give Sri Lanka and England a path to the semi-finals if Ireland edge out the West Indies and Bangladesh do the same to New Zealand, so I am going for England to win the tournament. Afghanistan and Zimbabwe should go out at the first hurdle.
If England are to win they must bat well and Craig Kieswetter averages over 24 and has a highest T20 score of 63.
I don’t think the Sri Lankan wickets are conducive to more than 196 sixes.
Virat Kohli has more quick fire scoring potential than Hashim Amla.
South Africa can potentially surprise a few and hit most sixes with young Richard Levi a big hitter winning the ICC performance of the year.
Irfan Pathan can swing the ball and use the seam he took 5 wickets in a recent warm-up against Sri Lanka and he can take the most tournament wickets.
I think there will be some scores over 210 when it comes to playing some of the lesser fancied countries.

Top Bowler (wickets): Narine

Comments:
India have a good all round team. Dhoni will play an important part as the captain and with Sehwag, Gambhir and Kohli they can surely score big.The bowling department looks a bit weak but Irfan Pathan and Zaheer Khan look promising.
Chris Gayle has to be pick for the top batsman. He is in great form plus he scored the most runs at this years IPL. His score of 117 against South Africa in 2007 is the highest score. Sri Lanka is a good hunting for him as he scored his highest test score of 333 here two years ago.
Narine has been in terrific form. He was the star of IPL this year and played a major role in West Indies series win over New Zealand. He has a god economy rate. He has been awarded Emerging Cricketer of the Year award which will boost his morale.
With Sehwag, Kohli, Gambhir, Dhoni and Yuvraj, all capable of hitting big, I believe that India will be the team with the most 6's.

Main Questions:
Winning Team: Sri Lanka
Top Batsman: T Dilshan
Top Bowler (wickets): L Malinga
Team with most 6s: India
Comments:
I've gone with the hosts Sri Lanka, the home advantage will be key. got lots of handy players in the squad, such as sanga, dilshan and jayawardene (who was top run scorer in west indies in 2o1o). The key man will be lasith malinga in offence though whose unique bowling style is a massive asset for the host nation. India to hit most sixes, they have plenty of firepower Kohli Dhoni Yuvi Sehwag etc.
