First 2 fixtures of the league are tonight.

Neil Robertson @ 2.37
Draw @ 3.00
Judd Trump @ 2.87

Its difficult to judge form at this stage, because there is none! Robertson and Trump both seems to be ok with the format, which is a bonus, but at their best theres not much between them. This stands out to me as a very tight match with both players getting used to the format again, but also with an audience this time. For me the draw @ 3.00 stands out as the value pick, and thats where I'll be going. Small stakes due to the unknown form, but the draw looks the best bet.

Ronnie O'Sullivan @1.57
Draw 3.60
Marco Fu @ 5.50

Marco has a great record against Ronnie but Im not sure this format really suits Marco whos an awesome match player, but very methodical in his play. The unknowns of form is one thing, but the unknown of Ronnie himself is always a problem. Will he start like he did in his first match in 2007 (spanking Higgins 5-1) or like last year (coming from 2-0 down to draw 3-3 with Higgins)? The draw appeals here because of the inflated price, but at the same time I need to see how Marco plays in this situation, so no pre-match bet for me.

Well Ronnie beat Marco 4-2 and Robbo beat Trump 4-2, Ronnie looked ominously good as well. Trump and Robbo was close and could easily have been a draw but was always hard to call with no form.

I was in heavy on Ronnie!

Murphy always bottling it in his matches, bottom of the table, how has Ronnie lost.. really unlucky with how the balls were going just seemed to be Murphys night...sickener. Lose
