Hairy Rocket looks very short against two rivals who have each won a race. The contest could well be tactical and she is the least experienced of the three runners.

The ground is much better than it was when she won last week and this also could be in the favour of her rivals.

Just Past Andover has decent form in a similar standard of race at Chester. Graphic Quest won at Ascot and looks the type who could improve further. She also has a group 1 entry so the stable think a bit of her.

Hannon gets plenty of winners here but is expensive to follow and it can pay to take on his very short priced horses.

UCD v Sligo Rovers

Sligo beat UCD in March and can win again in tonight's premier division match.

Sligo have won this fixtures the last four times they have played here without conceding a goal. UCD are in poor form with 4 defeats and two draws in 6 matches. Sligo on the other hand have three straight wins scoring nine goals and conceding one.

They are now eight points clear at the top of the league and are a side full of confidence. The strikers have formed an excellent partnership and they are a threat to most sides. The defence isn't bad either.

UCD have conceded 13 goals in their last six matches and are now facing the best side in the league.

Edward O'Grady is the best trainer here over jumps in recent season and he is showing a handsome profit to level stakes with his runner and a 27% strike rate.

The horse hasn't had a lot of racing unlike many of these and comes here fresh. He meets Hidden Diamond on better terms than at Clonmel and should reverse the form. No reason why this trip won't suit as he has been staying on over shorter distances. At Limerick last time, the trip was too short and he may well have needed the race. I would expect him to come on for that.

He won a bumper here and looks well handicapped on his hurdles form. This looks a competitive mark.

The yard are in good form and this looks just the type to and a touch.

If you ignore the last run where the surface played a part, his form and his first time up win this season at Meydan, gives him a shout.The Auatralian form is particularly interesting, including a win at this level. The stable are making some positive noises about him.

This looks his trip and the track and ground may well suit. The trainer and jockey are always worth a second look in these type of events at York. Well drawn in 5 he has the choice of where to go as the race develops. The yard are in form and they have group 1 entries for him in the book.

It May Take Huddersfield Time Tonight

Huddersfield v Milton Keynes Dons

MK Dons have no choice but to attack to try to get back into this tie tonight and it would be no surprise where they to score first. The home defence is not the best and could be vulnerable early on. The Dons have had no trouble scoring all season so carry a threat.

With Rhodes averaging a goal a game, the home side should eventually take the match. Huddersfield could be caught between tactics as they may think that with a two goal lead they are comfortably through in the tie and it may take an MK goal to get them going. They are a side who score late goals.

Huddersfield were clearly the better side in the first leg as they were going into the play-offs.

Marnane Runner Could Be The One

Showed some promise in a couple of decent looking maidens as a two year old before opening his account on the all weather at Dundalk in March. Close up fourth in a handicap at the same track last time and looks closely matched with the favourite on that run so represents value at the price. The handicapper hasn't been harsh on him. He looks one who will benefit for the step up in trip now that he has had some runs under his belt. He could therefore have a little more potential than the others.

The stable does well here and is £6.20 in profit to a level £ stake on the course.

The penalty for the win means that he has to give weight to the field today and that brings in Keep Kicking and Peaks Of Fire, both of whom can give him a good race on these terms.

Although he won well at Sedgefield, this is a better race and conditions may not be quite as soft as it was that day. This trip may also be a bit short for him as he is sure to improve when he steps up to around three miles judged on his point to point form. This can also be a bit of a funny course which may not suit as much as Sedgefield did.

The stable have a good record here but the stats are better for his chasers rather than hurdlers.

Pressure To Tell On United

United are likely to start fast in today's final game to try to put pressure on Man City but if the blue side have a comfortable match against QPR, it could result in them failing to see out this match. They have been prone to losing concentration as witnessed in the Everton game and we could see a repeat. Defensive injuries are also not helping the cause.

Sunderland have lost the early momentum after O'Neill arrived but the have raised their game against the better sides. There wasn't a lot between the sides in the reverse fixture. Sunderland's best form has been on this ground.

Dabirism along with Camelot were the best two year olds last season and he can make his class tell by winning the French Guineas.

A combination of a poor ride by the jockey and not being fully wound up were the reasons he lost his unbeaten record last time but expect no repeat today. Stable confidence appears good and they are using a pacemaker to guarantee the pace he needs.

There is no obvious reason why he won't get the trip and as the best horse he should win.

Nothing Small About This Filly

She was impressive when winning on heavy ground at Longchamp a few weeks ago and will be more at home in these conditions than many of her rivals. She has improved with each race and the step up to a mile has also benefited her. There may well be more to come.

She is beautifully bred from classic and group winners on both sides.

Trained by the master Andre Fabre, she is the one horse in the field who could be anything and it would be no surprise to see her storm home.

Course and distance form can be very significant here and this one ticks both of those boxes. He ran well here on good to soft ground so will like today's conditions. many of these will struggle to get home.

They switched him back to the flat after a try over hurdles and the first time up run at Thirsk will set him up for this and I would expect an improved performance.

He has form to beat many of these off this mark and looks a big price considering the facts.

Well drawn and looks a decent each way prospect.

With four debutants in opposition it is worth laying the odds on Shuh Shuh Gah in the last at Market Rasen today. He has finished third in both his starts having been in with a chance in both races but has been unable to see it out.

The newcomers come from at least three yards that are usually worth a second look in these type of races. Pam Sly and Sue Smith are yards in good form.

Harry Haynes has a mediocre record on the track andhe is against five other jockeys, all of whom are claiming allowances.

Add to all this, the testing going and he looks one to oppose.
