May 22 Well Capable
19:48
23/05 20:30 Richard Johnson is back on board Timmy Vaughan’s 7 year old gelding WHATSHALLWEDO today and he’s in decent form. He won twice last December and he has been in the frame twice since then. He was third last time out at Newton Abbot 41 days ago. Richard Johnson has a 21.9% strike rate for Vaughan. The stable is in form with 6 wins in May, with 2 last Thursday. Overall stats show 2 wins and 2 places from 12 runs. His form is recent and is well capable of taking this. 24

May 22 Shouda Backed It
19:25
23/05 15:00 Tom Queally has been on board Barney Curley’s 6 year old gelding for 5 out of his 6 outings. He has won his last 2 starts battling away and last time out at Wolverhampton beating Saloon by ½ a length despite not having a clear passage. Has wins on both surfaces and also a 3rd on the AW. Dropping back to 11 furlongs today and is coming back after a layoff, but you can never write off a Curley horse especially if the market is following him. 22

May 22 Pace To Suit
18:59
23/05 16:50 Conor Dore’s 6 year old gelding is ridden by Tom Eaves for the first time today. Disappointed last time out, but will give the excuse that the field went off too fast. He will be hoping for a more suitable pace today. Previous to that won at Wolverhampton at the end of April beating Daniel Thomas by 2 ¼ lengths when running on. Overall stats show a win and 8 place from 23 turf runs and 3 wins and 8 places from 21 AW runs. Will go well if the pace suits. 24

May 22 Take To The Flat
18:49
23/05 17:45 Jo Davis PASSATO has been regularly seen over the obstacles recently and hasn‘t been seen on the flat since debut season in 2008. Had decent enough stats, winning 6 races and 6 places from 32 handicap chase/hurdle runs. Battled bravely to second place by a head last time out over 2 miles at the beginning of April at Newton Abbot. Small stable here who doesn’t send out many horses and last had a winner in April. The 8 year old gelding will be tongue tied as normal again today and Hayley Turner takes the ride for the first time. He’s coming into this off a decent mark today and could go well if he takes to the flat. 20

May 22 Best In A Small Field
18:47
23/05 17:10 Small field here for the 5.10 at Chepstow. Michael Bell’s RUACANA comes here off a win 30 days ago at Pontefract (1 win out of only run on turf). The lightly raced 3 year old gelding won well that day staying on beating Hallmark Star by 1 ¾ lengths over this 12 furlong distance. Hayley Turner on board again as she has been for 3 out of his 4 runs. All weather stats show 3 places form 3 runs, so he hasn’t been out of the places in all his outings. Can go on and progress again and take this one from Scatter Dice. 19

May 21 More To Come
21:16
22/05 15:45 The Willie Haggas stable has been in good form lately and his 3 year old filly AL JABREIAH has already won twice in 4 runs (1 on each surface). Stepping up to 10 furlongs and has winner in the family over this distance. Liam Jones is in the saddle today as he has been for all of his runs. Haggas had 3 winners on Saturday, total of 9 in May so far. Last seen a month ago when winning at Wolverhampton. On a double and looks like there’s plenty more to come, starting today. 29

Profit/Loss Al Jabreiah Win @ 4 LOST May 21 Punching Above His Weight
20:59
22/05 14:45 Tom Queally hasn’t been on board Connor Dore’s PUNCHING since January last year. He was second that day over 6 furlongs. The 8 year old gelding was disappointing last time out at Windsor 20 days ago, but previous to that won twice at Southwell on the All Weather in April both ridden by Hayley Turner. He will need to bring his AW form to the turf today, but he does have 2 wins and 7 places on turf. Dropping back to 5 furlongs today and the change could do him good. Punching above his weight! 30

Profit/Loss Punching Win @ 8 May 21 Go Wild
20:45
22/05 17:30 LOVE GROWS WILD pulls together two of my favourite combinations â€' Michael Bell and Hayley Turner. The 3 year old lightly raced filly has 1 third to show from 5 races over both flat surfaces. Will need to up his game no back on turf after showing well on the All Weather. Was third last time she went over this distance when coming back from a layoff in April with Turner on board. Plenty of scope to improve and will probably have to beat Whatsofunny to take the spoils today. 72

Profit/Loss Love Grows Wild Win nb @ 8 LOST May 21 Course Specialist
20:30
22/05 16:00 David Evans’s PENANG CINTA has been in fair form of late. Was in Guernsey of all places last time out when the 9 year old gelding was decent third. Last won at here at Brighton last October over this distance when beating Ninfea by a head. Showed good character and plenty of battling qualities that day. Overall stats show 6 wins from 14 starts here at Brighton, so is kind of a course specialist here. He has 1 win from 14 runs over this 10 furlong distance and 1 C&D win from 4 runs (10 career wins). Matthew Cosham is back in the saddle today and is claiming 5lbs. Looking for a decent run today. 72

Profit/Loss Penang Cinta Win nap @ 6 LOST May 21 Favoured Surface
20:05
22/05 18:30 ESTONIA comes back onto the All Weather where Michael Squance’s 5 year old bay mare has had her best stats. She has 5 wins and 8 places from 26 runs. 2 wins from 10 runs here at Kempton, 5 wins from 28 runs over this 5 furlong distance and 2 Course and Distance runs. Was disappointing last time out 5 days ago at Newmarket, but previous to that had a decent 3rd at Lingfield over this distance. Back on favoured surface now and has the ability to take this if on form. 78

Profit/Loss Estonia Win @ 11 LOST May 21 Rookie Done Good
18:43
27/05 12:00 As with all rookies, JONAS BLIXT’s first priority is to secure their cards for next season. With His results so far on the PGA tour, he’s gone a long way to doing that early in the piece. This means he can relax a bit more and let his golf do the talking. He’s at the Crowne Plaza this week and though it’s a tournament that the rookies and less experienced tend not to win, his current form could buck the trend. He finished T3rd last week and a final round that gave 5 birdies, an eagle and 3 bogeys, saw him finish only 2 shots off eventual winner Jason Dufner. He showed plenty of character there too after a rush of blood saw him bogey the 17th (as he had for 3 of his 4 rounds), but he steadied the ship to par the last. He has gotten progressively better the last couple of weeks, he has finished T13th, T9th and T3rd last week. Backed him the last couple of weeks and he looks to have a win him in. 24
