May 22 Celta Vigo V Xerez
16:46
23/05 19:00 Celta Vigo are on form winning their last three in a row and are now undefeated in their last 6 games. Three more games to go and three wins is what they need to be promoted automatically to La Liga as rivals for the second spot Real Valladolid are level on points with Celta. The Galicians are in a must win situation whereas Xerez are already safe after a disappointing season and play for nothing. Still they drew their last two at the Estadio de Balaídos in Vigo and are 3-3-0 in their last 6 matches against Celta. Still, the current form and the different motivation suggest the host win this one. Xerez are winless in their last 5 on the road and I do not see them stunning the hosts. 35

May 22 Cordoba V Cartagena
16:24
22/05 20:00 Cordoba are sitting in 6th, which is the last play-off finishing spot, closely followed by Almeria who are lagging 3 points behind therefore a win tonight at Estadio Nuevo Arcangel is a must for the hosts. Paco Jemez is doing a good job there and he and his boys will be looking for revenge after the 3-1 loss at Girona last time out. Cartagena are 8 points from safety and, with 3 games left, will almost surely be relegated from Segunda Division. To make their task easier the team will miss midfielder Hector Font who is banned, defender Manu Torres and midfielder Miguel Angel Riau both out injured and coach Carlos Rios will be at the stands. Striker Duberbier and important MF Borja Garcia are back for Cordoba. Home win. 22

Profit/Loss Cordoba Win @ 1.36 WON May 20 Brondby V FC Nordsjaelland
12:45
20/05 15:00 FC Nordsjaelland are writing history. They are second, lagging a point behind FC Copenhagen and will hope their title rivals will drop points at Midtjylland after the tough cup final match against Horsens in midweek. Brondby have been really poor this season and managed to survive, so beating Nordsjaelland who are undefeated in their last 7 matches is unlikely. One other interesting issue is whether Brondby will want to make a favour to their biggest rivals FC Copenhagen by holding FCN or vice versa. Nordsjaelland are tight at the back and news is today Brondby will miss Rommedahl so, away win or draw in full stake. Nordsjaelland play Horsens in the last round at home which looks like a sure home win, so if FC Copenhagen lose or draw today and FCN win at Brondby then Nordsjaelland will be almost sure champs. 20

Profit/Loss Draw or FC Nordsjaelland Win @ 1.22 WON May 20 Brondby V FC Nordsjaelland
12:34
20/05 15:00 It is now or never for FC Nordsjaelland if they are to win the Danish Superligaen title, sitting a point behind FC Copenhagen. With FC Copenhagen facing a tough test at solid Midtjylland and not fresh after the midweek cup finals against Horsens (won hard by 1-0) Nordsjaelland travel to Brondby for all points. They are 7 games since a loss, whereas hosts Brondby are on a 2 game losing streak, thrashed 5-1 at AGF Aarhus last time out. News is Nordsjaelland will have to do without suspended Mikkel Beckmann and Patrick Mtiliga is probably out, but Brondby are far from the team we knew and have been really poor this season. Hosts have nothing to play for and will not be happy to help FC Copenhagen by stunning FCN! 18

Profit/Loss FC Nordsjaelland -0.25 Win @ 1.6 WON May 20 Sassuolo V Reggina
12:22
20/05 14:00 Season is already over for Reggina and they are safe looking to put behind the hard times they have had and the financial problems that forced the management to sell their best player Missiroli who joined Sassuolo. From what I read in the forums the relationship between these two sides is good and I do not expect anything but a home win here. Sassuolo are desperate for points looking for automatic promotion to Serie A. The Nero-Verdi have been solid all season and strong at home. Terranova and Valeri are suspended and Pea will step in the midfield. Consolini is back in defence. And the attacking duo Bruno and Sansone are available. Striker Boakye who is on loan from Genoa will also play as Sassuolo are in a must-win situation. Home win. 24

Profit/Loss Ascoli -1.00 Win @ 1.8 May 20 Ascoli V Crotone
11:58
20/05 14:00 Ascoli are sitting 17th just one point above the Tuscan side Livorno and will want all points from their last home match looking to avoid the play-outs. Crotone are save and have some missing players as Sansone, Florenzi and Gabionetta are all out suspended, and Galardo, Abruzzese and Vinetot are injured. Ascoli have not been that bad but were deducted 7 points so it is a must win to avoid the relegation play-offs. A win at Stadio Cino e Lillo Del Duca looks like the most likely outcome as Ascoli are undefeated in their last 6 home games. They will miss Andelkovic who is banned but still are strong enough to grab all points today. 23

Profit/Loss Ascoli Win @ 1.57 WON May 20 Grosseto V Empoli
11:42
20/05 14:00 The draw is definitely on the cards here as both sides will be satisfied with a point and especially the home team. The truth is Grosseto are 6 points above the play out places and a point will mean not play-outs. Empoli are a point above the play-outs and have everything to play for here. The Tuscans are on good form and though they failed to beat lowly Vicenza at home last time out held to a 1-1 draw Empoli are undefeated in their last 5 matches. Grosseto lost their last two in a row thrashed at home 4-2 by Pescara and losing 2-1 at Modena, and have not won in their last 8 matches at Stadio Olimpico Carlo Zecchini in Grosseto. Hosts are 2-4-1 against Empoli but today I expect coach Alfredo Aglietti and hos Empoli boys to remain unbeaten here. Grosseto may be safe if Livorno do not win today at Brescia in any case. 23

Profit/Loss Draw or Empoli Win @ 1.5 WON May 20 Valladolid V Sabadell
11:13
20/05 20:30 Valladolid have been on form and are undefeated in their last 11 games. The good run saw them in the automatic promotion race and the team is now sitting third in the Spanish Segunda Division standings, lagging three points behind Celta de Vigo, but with a game in hand, and a win over lowly Sabadell will see them level on points with Celta. Sabadell have managed to survive thanks to their decent home form but have been nothing special on their travels and are 15 games since an away win. This is a must-win for Valladolid, they are the form team and have all the motivation to win this one, and I do not see Sabadell getting anything at Estadio Municipal Jose Zorrilla. 28

Profit/Loss Valladolid Win @ 1.3 WON May 20 Torino V Modena
11:01
20/05 11:30 Torino entertain Modena at Stadio Olimpico di Torino in their last home match of the season and a win will mean a return to the top flight. Modena are already save and avoided the play-outs with a home victory over Grosseto last time out and will be under no pressure and will play openly. Granata will play for their fans. A point will see them promoted and is enough but they will want more from their last home match in Serie B and I expect also open and attacking football. The number of goals average for the most recent games involving both these teams is 2.75(33 goals in 12 games). The last 3 Torino home matches went over 2.5 goals, and 4 of the last 5 Modena games were also overs. The last match here between these two ended 3-2 and Mdena won at home this season 2-1, so I expect goals today! 27

Profit/Loss Over 2.5 Win @ 1.73 LOST May 20 Torino V Modena
10:55
20/05 11:30 Torino are sitting on top of the table and will want to finish in style, winning not just the automatic promotion but the Serie B title as well. Despite some recent away stumbling Granata have been solid on home turf are on a 5 game home winning streak. They have a record of 15-4-1 at the Olimpico and this is the last home match in Serie B this season so they will want to seal their promotion with a home win over Modena. Season is over for the visitors, they are safe and have not been great travellers. Home win at Stadio Olimpico di Torino! 26

Profit/Loss Torino Win @ 1.29 WON May 19 CSKA Sofia V Liteks Lovetch
14:18
19/05 14:30 I see value in abcking these to stay under. 5 of the last 6 games Litex have played away from home were unders ansd also all 10 recent games involving these two have stayed under. Both sides are in need for points and this will be a tactical game with both sides tight at the back not to concede. 6 of the last 10 CSKA Sofia matches and 7 of the last 10 Liteks Lovetch league games were unders. The average goals scored in the last 10 encounters between CSKA and Litex is 1.4 per game (14 goals in 10 matches) so under is my call for this one. 21
