Generic Goal

I have been placing forward, football coupons with examples with selections to put over what you could possibly achieve from doing the fixed odds football coupons.
When placing your bet over with both teams to score, can be gruesome to get the result right for a pay day.
When looking for these teams you can get lost in assorts of form and with so many fixtures, the games that may get the nod could easily get lost, when looking at others.

What I am happy to do here is try and place teams over that have a problem with keeping a clean sheet and also the ability to score.

PREMIERSHIP LEAGUE

LIVERPOOL v SWANSEA

Liverpool have played Swansea six times since 2011 and of those games Liverpool have won one and that was at home. last February when winning 5-0.

There has been three draws between them and their last game back in September was a game of four goals being produced, with a final score of 2-2, this was at the Liberty Stadium, in two games before this, which was in 2011 and 2012, both games were goalless, the 2011 was at Anfield. The two games that Swansea won was in 2012 when going to Anfield and winning 3-1 and at home by the one goal for a 1-0 win.

What we have here is two teams that had games with teams not conceding in four games.

With this look, a play on both teams to score could be a difficult assignment to figure out, as Swansea have only scored 33 this season and conceded 36 in 26 games, which gives them 1.2 goals per game, in total. Swansea away form is worth taking into consideration as they have only scored nine goals in 13 matches and conceded 16. Swansea have only hit the net in 0.6 times on the road. They also lost 3-0 in the UEFA Europa League, goal scoring seems to be a real problem and they look to Bony to do the scoring, he has scored eight, with Nathan Dyer on five.

Liverpool scoring and conceding this season, 66 fore and 32 against and after 26 games they score 2.4 goal a game and only concede just over one goal per game. Liverpool home record looks impressive with 38 goals scored at home and only conceding nine. They score practically three goals a game and only concede 0.6 goals a game.

  • With this information on view, Liverpool could win this game with conceding and if figuring to play on this match:

  • Liverpool to win.

  • Goals in Both halves.

  • Home team to win goal to nil.

  • Correct score of 2-0, 3-0, 4-0.

  • Luis Suarez to score first goal and anytime, along last goal.

  • Daniel Sturridge to score first goal and anytime along with last goal.

The last two mentioned with goal scorers could be worth a view with Suarez 23 goals scored and Sturridge with 16 could be on the goal scoring sheet, today.

NEWCASTLE v ASTON VILLA

These two teams have met, many a time, since 1993. Matter of fact they have played 39 times, with the greater of wins in favour of Newcastle United with twenty wins. Eleven draws have figured and Aston Villa have won eight.

Both teams are in dreadful form and this game could be a hard one to predict, with goals being the concern.

Newcastle have just gone four games without scoring and this is a big concern for manager and supporters as they sold a player of goal ability and maker of Cabaye, which is a great loss to them.

Of the twenty wins for the Magpies, eleven of those games have been without conceding, there has been only two goalless games between them and six games of Aston Villa victories have been without conceding.

Newcastle when winning at home have won with six of those eleven games with a clean sheet, which is just under half of those eleven games. Aston Villa have just won two at St James Park without conceding.

Goals between them are inspiring as their last five meetings have been goals for each side.

Newcastle are in ninth place and scored 32 goals in 26 matches, which is just over a goal a game and concede 38 goals which is also over 1.4 goals per game, keeping a clean sheet, looks a difficult proposition. Their home record is also on the same level of games scored and conceded.

Aston Villa might be hoping Benteke and Kozak can produce something this afternoon as they are in a position of thirteenth place with 28 points, which is not a secured position just yet in points wise.

They have scored twenty seven goals in 26 games, which is just over the goal a game and conceded 36 which is near on the same as Newcastle.

Their away form reads fair, for a team that are in the middle of the league with 15 goals scored and exactly the same in conceding, with goals over a goal a game and the same in conceding.

  • This game could be a prediction of

  • Newcastle to draw

  • Goals in both halves

  • Both teams to score

  • Correct score of 1-1, 2-1, 1-2

  • Remy might be worth considering at any time for Newcastle as he has eleven goals this season

  • Benteke could be within a chance of scoring anytime.

NORWICH v TOTTENHAM

The last game of the day from Carrow Road and Norwich will be praying to get a home win as they are in a precarious position, in seventeenth position and one point off the relegation zone.

Tottenham on the other hand are five points clear of Manchester United and three points behind Liverpool before today’s match, if Liverpool drop points at home, Tottenham would equal them on points but for goal difference they will stay in the same place.

These two have met fourteen times since 1993 an Tottenham have won the greater amount of eight with Norwich with three victories and three draws to bring the total to eleven.
Of the three draws one was a goalless game and this was back in 2004.

Norwich have never kept a clean sheet when winning and of their three wins, one was at home and this was back in October of 2012. All three games were 2-1 victories.

Tottenham, when winning here, they have conceded twice in six games and won twice at home without conceding. Norwich look to have a problem of scoring in past games.

Tottenham Hotspurs have won 15 of their 26 games played and scored over one goal a game with a record of 36 scored, they have conceded 32 which is also over a goal a game, keeping a clean sheet looks a problem for them.

Norwich have only scored eleven at home which is below a goal a game and they have conceded eleven and this can be read as not bad, as it is under a goal a game.

Tottenham are a team to have on your side for away form, as they have won nine of the 13 away games played and have scored 21 goals with conceding 14, they are capable of netting goals on the road and conceding at the same time.

Norwich have a slight concern of scoring goals in their last five games, with only two goals been scored, two of those five games have been goalless draws and both were at home against Manchester City and Newcastle.

Tottenham lost by the odd goal in Europe but before this they hammered Newcastle 4-0 away and beat Everton 1-0 at home before this.

The last five matches between these two have produced goals, except for their last meeting at White Hart Lane, when Tottenham won 2-0.

  • This game prediction

  • Tottenham to win or draw (double chance) to play for something back

  • Tottenham to win

  • Goals in both halves

  • Both teams to score

  • Correct score of 1-2, 1-3, 1-1

  • Adebayor could be worth a chance of getting the first goal, last goal and any time

  • Soldado might be considered to do the same thing.

  • Gary Hooper might be worthy of connecting with the net as he has scored five

What can we look at in betting purposes

    • Treble with

    • Liverpool to win

    • Newcastle to draw

    • Tottenham to win

    • All three games to have goals in both halves, for another treble, or four doubles.

    • Liverpool to win goal to nil and the other two with both to score

    • Correct scores

    • Liverpool

    • 2-0, 3-0, 4-0.

    • Newcastle

    • 1-1, 2-1,1-2.

    • Norwich

    • 1-2,1-3,1-1

    • 27 trebles

    • Goalscorers

    • Luis Suarez Liverpool

    • Remy Newcastle

    • Adebayor Tottenham

    • First or last or any time treble.

Daniel Sturridge to score first goal starts the day off nicely in four minutes, trust Swansea not to read the script, with them scoring after going two goals down.
Liverpool back in the lead and giving the goals in both halves looking good, for the treble, has gone as Newcastle and Aston Villa drew the first half with no goals, even though both sides had chances.
Liverpool and Swansea are certainly entertaining the crowd with goals but the home support will not be happy with the away team getting equalisers.
What a match with seven goals and a win for Liverpool to keep the chances of the blog alive, until Newcastle netted in the 92nd minute to end all chances of hoping for a result from Carrow Road.

Really thought, time was running out for Newcastle to get a winning goal and the draw looked predictable only for Remy to get an injury time goal.

A terrible day on the football front, with Liverpool the only game right.
Just goes to show how football matches are unpredictable and makes the game exciting, even though, they could be a boring 0-0.
