THE SUPER LEAGUE SUPER 8's - WEEK FOUR
by wildbillsghost on 03 Sep at 15:14
Back to the Super League after the hiatus last week for the Cup Final, one-sided as it turned out as the Leeds Rhinos really turned on the style to thrash Hull KR, and special mention to Tom Briscoe, who stole the honours with five tries, well done to the Rhinos for defending the Cup in fine style. THE SUPER 8’s Thursday September 3rd 2015 HUDDERSFIELD GIANTS vs. CASTLEFORD TIGERS 8pm KO This is one of the few games this weekend where both sides will be desperate for a win, a victory for the home side would put them in a strong position in the top four, whilst a win for Cas keeps them well in the hunt for those play-off places. The Giants come in to this..
Ladbrokes St. Leger 2015 - Ante Post Win Bet
by jamiess09 on 02 Sep at 21:56
This years St. Leger Stakes does not have a star attraction and I can see plenty of reasons to take on the two horses at the head of most ante post lists right now in Order of St. George and Storm The Stars. When looking for an alternative to those two, a runner by John Gosden is always worth a second look in this race as he has won this race 3 times since 2007, however his runner Mr. Singh won an average renewal of the Bahrain Trophy at Newmarket in July and at 5/1 he is of little interest for me. Bondi Beach looks the class horse in this race for me and can be backed with most firms right now at 5/1, which looks generous. I think he was beaten fair and square the last day at York, despite..
BetFred Sprint Cup Group 1 Haydock preview
by DAVIDADAN on 01 Sep at 01:16
The Betfred Sprint Cup is a Group 1 flat race for horses aged three years or older. It is run annually at Haydock Park over a distance of 6 furlongs. Currently John Gosden is the Leading Trainer - 4 Winners and Sheik Mohammed is the Leading Owner - 4 Winners Alas this race comes too soon for Muhaarar from the prestigious stable of Sheik Hamdan Al Maktoum whose three time Gp1 winner Charlie Hills will most likely see that he heads to Champions Day at Ascot or maybe later America beckons in the Breeders Cup Mile, please do keep that one on side where ever he goes, do note his previous wins and discount future progress at your peril the latter option seems folly to ignore! From my Ante Post thoughts Henry Candys Limato would have been my first choice however I can,t..

September see's the next 2 rounds of matches being played between Thursday 3rd September & Tuesday September 8th After these sets of fixtures, there are just 2 games left for every nation to try and earn their spots in France 2016. Here is how each Group currently stands and who plays who in this double header set of fixtures GROUP A POS NATION PL W D L GF GA PTS 1 Iceland 6 5 0 1 14 3 15 2 Czech Republic 6 4 1 1 12 8 13 3 Netherlands 6 3 1 2 13 6 10 4 Turkey 6 2 2 2 7 8 8 5 Latvia 6 0 3 3 2 13 3 6 Kazakhstan 6 0 1 5 4 14 1 FIXTURES Thursday September 3 7:45 - Czech Republic v Kazakhstan 7:45 - Netherlands v Iceland 7:45 - Turkey v Latvia Sunday September 6 5:00 - Latvia v Czech Republic 5:00 - Turkey v Netherlands 7:45 - Iceland v Kazakhstan Scenarios If Iceland win in Holland then they will only need to beat Kazakhstan to qualify with 2 games to go, If they draw against Holland, then they can guarantee at least 3rd place by beating Kazakhstan Holland will struggle to finish in the top 2 if they do not beat Iceland, especially as..
NFL: Can a Wide Receiver win Offensive Rookie of the Year again?
by undertherobe on 02 Sep at 19:23
We’re now little more than a week away from the season opener and with the main preseason game in week three now done and dusted, I’m going to take a look at one of my favourite ante-post markets, the offensive rookie of the year. Eddie Lacy won the offensive ROTY in 2013 and is the only player drafted outside the first round to win the award since Anquan Boldin in 2003. Last year, it was Odell Beckham Jr. who won the award, becoming the first wide receiver to do so since Percy Harvin in 2009. So who’s going to win the award in 2015? Based on recent trends, the potential selections can be narrowed down to the first round of the draft and with no offensive linemen or tight ends winning the award, it reduces the list of potential winners to ten,..
Warrington v Brunker - Saturday - Live on Sky Sports
by FrankieMonkhouse on 03 Sep at 14:43
British fight fans welcome a brand new season on Saturday with the curtain going up at the First Direct Arena in Leeds where local lad Josh Warrington faces Aussie ace Joel Brunker for the WBC International and Commonwealth featherweight titles, live on Sky Sports. 24-year-old Warrington embarks on what will be his 22nd paid contest and the British number two, currently ranked behind world champion Lee Selby, boasts an unblemished record of 21 wins, four coming inside the distance. The 5ft 7inch orthodox was last seen out-pointing Filipino Dennis Tubieron at the same venue in April, adding the WBC International bauble to his list of honours which also include English, Commonwealth, British and European straps. Bookmakers don’t make a habit of taking on men in that kind of form and price Warrington up as favourite with no more than Coral’s 2/9..
Rugby World Cup 2015 - Opening Matches
by scoobydoo68 on 03 Sep at 20:03
The World Cup is now just three weeks away which will take place in England and Wales, New Zealand come here as reigning champions after lifting the trophy on home soil back in 2011. With so many teams coming into this tournament in good form and others such as South Africa being more hopeful than expectant it's sure to be a fascinating competition. POOL MATCHES England v Fiji England have an excellent record against Fiji winning all five matches the two have played, the most recent fixture between the two was in 2012 with England winning 54-12. England look very strong coming into the World Cup, they will be able to dominate the scrum against Fiji and get on top early on. Last 5 matches England 54 Fiji 12 England 45 Fiji 24 Fiji 12 England 28 England 58 Fiji 23 Fiji 12 England 25 Prediction Fiji are never easy to..

Can a bet of the week from each English League make a winning accumulator?
In the past I've rarely dabbled with accumulators as my approach to betting has been the softly softly approach to building up a bank. A quick look through the forum and you'll find a wide range of reasons amongst OLBG...
