Newcastle v Sunderland (Derby Day)
by Micko70 on 19 Dec at 19:14
This is Newcastle's biggest game of the season, against their fierce north east rivals, in recent seasons Sunderland have had the upper hand and got the best results. Newcastle come into this game on the back of a 4-0 loss at Tottenham in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday They lost their last league game 4-1 at Arsenal last weekend. Prior to that loss at Arsenal, they had only lost 1 of their previous 9 games. Sunderland come into this game on the back of a 1-1 draw at home to West Ham. They have only won once in their previous 9 games. That was a 3-1 win at Crystal Palace in November OLBG Blogger Thedog1983 has also written a blog on the match, this can be found by clicking HERE RECENT FORM Looking at each teams last 10 games we can see the following - Newcastle..
Weekly Euro Football Predictor 2014 - WEEK 15
by botev1921 on 18 Dec at 22:25
After the great season we had last year and the tons of positive messages regarding our Weekly Euro Football Blog, we are back with a bigger team and even more determined to help you out with well-developed selections on the biggest European leagues and the Champions league. The idea behind the blog is to get differing opinions on the best bets for the best matches in Europe over the weekend from a panel of experts. Each tipster provides their perception of the way the game will pan out and where the value bet in the mass football markets might be. These opinions can be used in any way you wish. You may wish to take one bet where the panel agrees (signalled out as CONSENSUS PICK) and add that to existing bets you have or mix and match the various European..

Odds on Relegation Teams in danger... Burnley - The Bookies favourites for the drop have managed to pick up a couple of wins recently and drag themselves out of the drop zone. Although it's likely they'll occupy one of the magical bottom three places again soon. Without the financial might of the likes of QPR it is difficult to see how a burnley will manage to avoid the drop. They have gone multiple games without scoring this season, which is never a good sign and their squad lacks real depth. Times will get tougher as the season draws on, injuries will likely come and cause further problems for the lads from Turf Moor. It's hard to see how they will escape the drop back down to the championship at the first time of asking. Best odds: 1/2 multiple..
Premiership Relegation Update. A Diary Of Trading Part 4.
by davidg3907 on 17 Dec at 23:13
The diary continues to grow and the earlier entries have been left on record with additions in bold text. Win or lose this will be a diary of bets made and ongoing suggestions until the end of the year when predictions of final points and finishing positions will be made. That will be slightly earlier than last season so more scope for either a decent profit or a large portion of egg on face. SOUTHAMPTON Backed at 8.6 now best priced 6.6. Mid Sept. A few good results have seen them drift to 32. Rather than create another large liability I shall let this one run for the moment. October break. Nothing much has changed other than I have now created a larger liability for similar amount as other bets. November break. They continue to surprise and once I had some larger liabilities in the..
Goose is getting fat, wallet getting thin, three Christmas crackers for a Yuletide grin!
by Randy Rann on 17 Dec at 22:49
Three longshots to hopefully bring a bit of festive cheer. Well it's that time of year when giving rather than receiving is the right thing to do, and that giving comes at a price! The real festive period is nearly upon us and after a last minute present shopping spree, enough food purchased to feed an army, a booze run and the dreaded tax bill that needs attention.......the cup doth not runneth over! The yuletide extravagances mean punting takes a backseat, but with a host of big races on the horizon, a little bit of what you like never hurt anyone, and if you can find some value, then have a dabble. That's the trouble, finding value as the bookies tighten up the prices on all the talking horses and squeeze the juice out of some tasty oranges! That said though, Christmas needs..
WHAT HAVE THE ROMANS EVER DONE FOR US ??
by pompeybuster12 on 16 Dec at 20:31
WHAT HAVE THE ROMANS EVER DONE FOR US ?? “All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?” REG OF THE PEOPLES FRONT OF JUDEA. (THE LIFE OF BRIAN) FINEFORM, ONLY ON A WEDNESDAY. I want to spin a yarn on systems; primarily I want to put them in perspective. The basic premise of a system is back fitting results into a neatly arranged pattern that shows profit, the premise being that what has passed before will play out in the future. Inevitably the system starts to fail, so the Reg moment from the life of Brian plays out. The system maker needs to start back fitting again to stay in profit so the game begins………….. Hmmm if we back the top rated system picks..
