  • Hungary Best Bets and Analysis For Euro 2016

RACHACE on 26 May at 12:23

Euro 2016 Team Review Hungary Hello and welcome to the blog. This is a blog looking at the Hungarian squad for the upcoming Euro 2016 Championships being held in France this summer. The aim is to hopefully highlight a few profitable betting angles based on Hungary's chance's in the tournament. I have very little knowledge on Hungary as a footballing nation based on the fact that I've never seen them compete in the Euro's nor the World Cup since I started watching football as an 8 year old in 1990. Countries of similar size and success like say Bulgaria, Romania or Croatia have all had an impact in the major tournament's that I've grown up watching and familiarising myself with but Hungary have never featured. Despite this, Hungary as a footballing nation are actually more famous than you…

  • American Football - More Than Just The Basics (Defense)

    Gman84 on 24 May at 13:31

In this continuing series of blogs aimed at helping increase or help with the basic knowledge of American Football and the NFL I’m going to take a look at the defensive side of the ball and hopefully be able to share some tips and hints that can help with your understanding of how defenses work and how they are described during the game. Formations You’ll hear two basic descriptions of how a base (regular) defense lines up. They are the “4-3” and the “3-4”. All the numbers refer to are the basic setup of the front seven in a defense. The first number refers to the number of defensive linemen a defense uses and the second number refers to the amount of linebackers. So in a 4-3 you have four base lineman and 3 linebackers, in a 3-4 you have…

  • Bets and Betting on Sweden for Euro 2016

Nicoista on 24 May at 13:54

Bets and Betting on Sweden for Euro 2016 There were wild scenes after Sweden’s 4-3 aggregate success in the all Scandinavian play off against Denmark, that booked their place in France. Earlier they had looked like automatic qualification was on the cards, however, a poor September saw them lose against Russia to a single Dzyuba goal, then three days later getting turned over 4-1 at home against Austria. Austria were the surprise package in qualifying, topping the group with 28 points after starting the campaign at 8/1 for victory in Group G. Russia finished as runners up after their campaign took a turn for the better once they had parted company with Fabio Capello, finishing on 20 points 2 above Sweden. 1. AUSTRIA 28 +17 2. RUSSIA …

  • Sandy Lane Stakes at Haydock Key Race Trends - 28 May 2016

Robmull on 26 May at 14:40

The 188Bet Sandy Lane Stakes is a Group 2 race for 3 year olds which is run over 6 furlongs at Haydock on Saturday, 28 May 2016. The Sandy Lane Stakes was given a major boost last season when it was upgraded from Listed to Group 2 status, in an attempt to provide a suitable prep race for 3 year old sprinters that are likely to be aimed at the Royal Ascot’s Group 1 Commonwealth Cup sprint. During the past decade 7 market leaders (including 1 joint, plus 1 co favourite) have obliged for a LSP of 7.28 pts, whilst the remaining 3 winners were sent off at odds of 6/1, or shorter, which suggests that punters should concentrate on runners at the head of the betting market. Trainer, William Haggas has saddled 2 winners from just 3 runners…

  • King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot Key Race Trends - 14 June 2016

Robmull on 23 May at 17:26

The King’s Stand Stakes is a Group 1 race for runners aged 3 years and older which is run over 5 furlongs at Ascot on Tuesday, 14 June 2016 and is the second of 3 Group 1 events to be run on the first day of the Royal Ascot meeting. During the past decade, only 2 market leaders have obliged for a loss of 2.25 pts, with 5 further winners starting at odds of 8/1 or shorter, whilst the exceptions were sent off at odds of 12/1, 20/1and 22/1, which suggests that this is a good race for well fancied runners, albeit shocks do arise from time to time. The King’s Stand Stakes is one of the legs of the Global Sprint Challenge, so it is befitting that 5 of the past 10 winners of the race have been trained…

  • Euro 2016 UEFA Player Of the Tournament Best Bets and Preview

dannyblue on 25 May at 12:37

The UEFA Player of the Tournament award is a very interesting market, as It's never been given to the top scorer of the tournament and has always been won by a key player from the winning side. Considering the teams most likely to win the competition or at least reach the final we can draw a line between great players playing for a usually underachieving side, and the others playing for one of the favorite nations. If we consider the stats during the tournament of previous winners there is also to consider the interesting fact that none of them really shine in terms of goals or assist, and that they are usually well established players never under 27 years old. • Euro 2016 - GROUP F Preview & Selections

    botev1921 on 22 May at 22:10

A bit more than two weeks left before the start of the European championships and club football is now pretty much over all around Europe. As the national teams are being assembled and managers figure out their final line-ups, I am including yet another article on the topic, this time dealing with one particular group analysis. Group F is probably one of the most balanced and there is no clear favourite with enough arguments to really stand out. The markets have been pretty diverse on the individual groups and personally I consider a balanced group much more interesting to work with from betting perspective. GROUP F - TEAM BY TEAM ANALYSIS I have looked at PORTUGAL as part of my other blogs and little seem to have changed in terms of their status as a favourite that is just short of depth…
