Newcastle v SUNDERLAND

Newcastle v SUNDERLAND KO 13.30 Sunday 21st December Venue: St James Park, Newcastle An unbiased preview The Heritage The fierce rivalry which lies at the very heart of the Tyne and Wear Derby runs far deeper than football. It is a tale of two cities, two tribes, who's rivalry is perhaps unparalleled and pre-dates football by some 200 years. With the roots of hatred and dissent having grown for centuries, on Sunday afternoon you will see this released through every blade of grass into a cauldron of noise. This match has become the centrepiece of history and division in the North East and is played as much in the stands as it is on the pitch. This year their have been calls to temper the hatred, let history remain history and unite as fans of football, which is the case with..
A Blue Point of View

Man City v Crystal Palace Saturday 20th December (12:45 ko) Preview Firstly welcome to my blog and my preview on Premier League matches involving my club Manchester City. I'm writing about our 17th Premier League match of the season, at the Etihad against Neil Warnock and his Crystal Palace side. Crystal Palace had a solid start to the season, they're a hard working team, full of commitment and are quite difficult to beat which are all hallmarks of a Neil Warnock side. They've proven to be a match for Arsenal, Chelsea & Man Utd this season as all 3 of those sides had only beaten Palace by just 1 goal. Arsenal needed a very late winner against them and Man Utd were very lucky as Crystal Palace had a number of good chances that they failed to put..

West Ham United v Leicester 20-12-2014. 15.00. The Boleyn. A West Ham Preview Last Time Out Sunderland 1-1 West Ham The Game West Ham arrived in confidence after coming from behind to defeat Swansea 3-1 on the previous Sunday, to face a Sunderland side who were looking like draw specialists.... From the off, both sides played with a high tempo with end to end stuff but generally it was the visitors who had the edge as the possession they had was in Sunderland's half and Carroll had a near post header go wide. Sunderland were looking dangerous on the counter attacks as they did it with pace and had the option to go direct and it was this, that lead to the opening goal.....Adam Johnson squared up to Tomkin's on the edge of the area and tried to go down the side, but the Hammers defender..
Champions league draw analysis - Last 16
by botev1921 on 15 Dec at 19:49
This season I am once again looking at the Champions league draw immediately after it is out in order to quickly draw some conclusions on what direction punters can take when approaching these games in a couple of months. Of course, as always, games which are scheduled long time from now could be looked at from several perspectives as the time passes, but the early observations serve as pretty solid foundation for monitoring the teams involved and ultimately we can get some better preparation for when the right moment comes for us to pull the trigger. At the same time, the markets will open almost immediately and while it is risky to commit to anything that early, you never know what value could be missed as the winter break passes for some teams while others are dealing with congested winter..

Goose is getting fat, wallet getting thin, three Christmas crackers for a Yuletide grin!
by Randy Rann on 17 Dec at 22:49
Three longshots to hopefully bring a bit of festive cheer. Well it's that time of year when giving rather than receiving is the right thing to do, and that giving comes at a price! The real festive period is nearly upon us and after a last minute present shopping spree, enough food purchased to feed an army, a booze run and the dreaded tax bill that needs attention.......the cup doth not runneth over! The yuletide extravagances mean punting takes a backseat, but with a host of big races on the horizon, a little bit of what you like never hurt anyone, and if you can find some value, then have a dabble. That's the trouble, finding value as the bookies tighten up the prices on all the talking horses and squeeze the juice out of some tasty oranges! That said though, Christmas needs..
Statistics and thoughts for all Live Premier League Fixtures over Christmas
by tbuckley on 18 Dec at 00:39
Statistics and thoughts for all Live Premier League Fixtures over Christmas Christmas is now well upon us all with Christmas Day itself just a week away and for the football world Christmas means an hectic, intense schedule of matches with matches coming thick and fast. Now all the footballers and especially their own families might not be delighted about the Christmas football schedule but for all of us football fans it's fantastic having all the matches to watch, discuss and get involved in. Personally speaking I'm really looking forward to watching and having an interest in as many matches as possible this Christmas but I also want to make sure I spend my time off work chilling out with a big part of that spending less time on the PC. I love to look at all the matches in detail ie the betting..
