MLS 2015 Season Preview Major League Soccer The 2015 MLS season kicks off at the StubHub Center in Los Angeles, the home of defending MLS Cup champions LA Galaxy on March the 7th when they face Chicago Fire. I’m looking forward to it and I’ve watched a fair bit of ‘Soccer’ in recent years so I thought I would do a season preview. I will give a bit of a background to football in America and then provide a short profile of all 20 teams with a season prediction. This is the 20th anniversary of MLS. Football in the USA has a longer history than most people give it credit for. This year actually marks the 37th year of a national league and surprisingly the 103rd year of football governed by FIFA in America. Firstly, 2015 sees 2 new franchises in Orlando City..
WGC Cadillac Championship
by beepee1984 on 04 Mar at 05:38
The Course suited long-hitters and since making it bigger it will benefit the big hitters even more. Recent winners of the WGC Cadillac have shown form in several previous tournaments including the PGA Championship, Humana, Quicken National Links and Wyndham. Before the redesign of the course T Woods won here 7 times, the only tournaments that he has won more is the WTC Bridgestone and Arnold Palmer Invitation. The majority of winners have also already had a top 10 finish. My selection isn't bad of the tee only 14 yards of the Top Driver, has won at the PGA and WGC Bridgestone as well as coming a 2nd in last years Arnold Palmer Invitation. He finished 4th in his penultimate event as well as 2 3rd places earlier in the season in December. Keegan Bradley 50/1..

The Gold Cup Conclusion from the original blog with history
by meoldmate on 01 Mar at 21:34
THE GOLD CUP I have written a blog on the runners for this race with history to go with each runner as they appeared which many people have read and placed a mention at the bottom of the page. You can find this blog by typing http://www.olbg.com/blogs/post.php?id=407857 As the link will not work. At least twenty five horses came to be mentioned for this Blue Ribbon race and now the numbers would have dwindled somewhat to possibly twelve or maybe more. I started out thinking SILVINIACO CONTI would be the key player to this race and at 8/1 in October looked to be the best way to play. He has strengthen up since last season, as his trainer Paul Nicholls has highlighted and has been finishing his races off, as he has shown when winning at Haydock and Kempton. The twice he..

Adam Scott will be competing in another World Golf Championship this week and it is the Cadillac Championship which is held at the TPC Blue Monster course at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa Club in Florida from the 5th March - 8th March 2015. There is no cut and it is a limited field event for most of the world's best players. This tournament is part of the FedExCup schedule and the winner will obtain 550 points. The TPC Blue Monster course has hosted this tournament since 2007 and the past eight champions of this tournament with their final scores are - 2014 - Patrick Reed - 4 2013 - Tiger Woods - 19 2012 - Justin Rose - 16 2011..
Davis Cup 2015
by undertherobe on 03 Mar at 20:45
The biggest team competition in tennis returns this weekend for the 104th edition and with commitments from players such as Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray, this year’s competition promises to be another cracker. With eight World Group ties scheduled for the weekend, this blog takes a quick look through the matchups with the hope of trying to identify some value. Germany vs France These countries met in last year’s quarter finals with the French coming from 2-0 down for just the fourth time in their history and they eventually made it all the way to the Final where they were defeated by a Swiss team inspired by Roger Federer and Stan Wawrinka. This year’s German team looks stronger on paper than last year’s with Philipp Kohlschreiber and Benjamin Becker taking up the singles spots but despite home court advantage, they face an incredibly..
