The Super Bantamweight Division - Frampton, Quigg, Rigondeaux And More
by bitmoretechnical on 01 Jul at 16:32
Keep your eye on boxing's super bantamweight division, it is about to provide some serious entertainment. On July 18 three of the main protagonists are fighting, not one another unfortunately, but those fights are just around the corner, and there are a few more characters who want to get a piece of the action. With 20 wins from 20 fights, Carl Frampton is the golden boy of the division at the moment but hot on his case is his UK rival, and also unbeaten, Scott Quigg. Nonito Donaire is a former unified champion who wants back to the top and maybe the best in the division, but widely avoided, is Cuba's Guillermo Rigondeaux. Frampton, 28, makes his US debut on July 18 and, although he shouldn't be seriously tested by Alejandro Gonzalez , his 22 year old undistinguished Mexican opponent, it is..

Ashes Series - Betting Tips and Analysis
by drobgod on 03 Jul at 14:26
GETTING THERE BUT NOT READY YET SERIES WINNER If I were putting pen to paper with regards to who was going to win the Ashes a few months ago it would have taken me very little time to point out that England had very little chance of even winning a single test let alone the series, but there is now such a feel good factor surrounding English Cricket that we must approach our betting with a slightly different view. Under a new regime and playing in a more aggressive style, England with home advantage as well will be full of confidence, especially after their recent performances against New Zealand, although without any disrespect to the black caps Australia will undoubtedly prove tougher opposition. The positives for England are the fact that Captain Cook has rediscovered his form, Root, Stokes and..
NFL Betting Pitfalls
by undertherobe on 02 Jul at 22:57
The NFL is big business and every week there are hundreds are markets available to choose from. With the continuing impressive coverage from Sky Sports bringing the NFL to a new audience and multiple live games each week, more and more casual bettors are turning to the NFL to get their betting fix. From reading various NFL and betting forums over the years, there appears to be a couple of misconceptions about betting on the NFL and one where the casual bettor can easily get stung if they don’t do their homework. A low points total or a double digit points spread are what I’m talking about and this blog is going to use the last twelve seasons to take a look at each of these points and hopefully, provide some advice to those who are fairly new to betting on..
Trainers to follow in July
by Scratville on 30 Jun at 13:43
An awful June means we go into July with a minus £27.45 LSP for the year. July wasn't kind last year so we have a mostly new set of trainers this July. We are going with 6 flat trainers, 4 NH and one Irish Flat trainer. FLAT TURF DAVID SIMCOCK (3yo+) Suffolk trainer who crops up from time to time, usually with his AW runners. This month we will concentrate on his 3yo's and older as he has a poor record with his 2yo's at this time of year (2/27) and (£21.45 LSP) over the last 4 July's. 2011 4/39 10% +£ 8.42 2012 4/36 11% (£18.95) 2013 9/37 24% ..
3 year old's and the weight-for-age allowances
by nellberg1 on 03 Jul at 10:34
Weight allowances for younger horses in group 1 races With a really good Royal Ascot now over and a distinctive pecking order for horses being established, it's time to look ahead to the latter part of the season and the effect weight allowances have on some of the biggest races when the generations clash. As soon as Solow had won the Queen Anne and Gleneagles was victorious in the St. James Palace, thoughts turned to "the duel on the downs" and a possible meeting between the 2 in the Sussex Stakes. The Derby winner Golden Horn will put that form to test against older horses in the Eclipse, Impressive Tercentenary Stakes winner in pencilled in to take on the 4 year old's in the Juddmonte International and races like The King George and The Arc D'Triomphe will see a clash of..
MLS Mid-Season Review and Ante Posts
by bobslay13 on 03 Jul at 17:49
MLS Update Some teams have already passed the half-way point in their MLS schedule and both Conferences have taken shape now so I feel it’s a good time to review the predictions I made in my Season Preview, add my comments about each side and see if anything has or could change in the ante-post markets. Eastern Conference The East has continued it’s mantle of the weaker conference struggling in most of the matches between East and West sides. There’s a considerable gap between DC United in 1st and the rest of the division, 11 points behind. To me, anyone bridging that gap already looks unlikely. The remaining play-off spots are really there for the taking for anyone. Even the sides towards the bottom could make it, with NYCFC improving their form and about to be boosted by Lampard, whilst Chicago and Montreal..
