One trick jockeys Since going live on the 5th October until now there has obviously been loads of one ride jockeys. It has been noted that many appear with just one ride for the whole day and a good percentage are on horses who are a very big price in the betting, and more likely making the numbers up, than being in with a chance of winning. The blog has been well supported by other members which is good to see, as many eyes make light work. One trick jockey Checklist Question Does the trainer have a good strike rate at the course? Answer Many trainers have declared their runners with the rider having this as his single ride of the day, not being a positive one to take from the field, even though the trainer has a good strike rate. Question Does the jockey regularly ride…

  • Horse Racing Trends - Issue 9 - 25 to 31 October 2016

Robmull on 24 Oct at 14:39

The purpose of this blog is to provide trends based information that will hopefully assist readers to identify value and profitable wagers throughout the week. The content of this blog should not be considered as a source of free horse racing tips, however in my opinion, the data can be used to produce a list of potential candidates that can then be assessed further through the use of form study, race and ground conditions, plus any draw/pace bias, etc, to identify likely winners and hopefully profitable bets. Although it is highly unlikely that all of the trends detailed below will prove profitable to follow immediately, many of the statistics should be worth noting for consideration in the future. My intention is to update this blog on a daily basis, with information that will generally relate to the following day’s race meetings,…

Mexican Grand Prix Hi everyone, how you all doing? Good? Yep, me too! So the US didn’t disappoint, we ended up with with correct winner from the blog but the Rosberg pole didn’t land as for the Ricciardo bet, until the virtual safety car, which effectively gave Nico a free pit stop and that bet was dead in the water which was a shame. So we shoot straight from Texas and hot foot it across the border to Mexico. The Mexican GP returned to the calendar for the first time last year so there is not too much information we can pick up, having previously been seen back in the 90’s. If you like what I do blog about why not check out my others for the football, golf and F1 here There is plenty of discussions on all of these topic over…

ONE TRICK JOCKEYS Here are the links for questions on part one and answers on part two of the 1TJ blogs. One trick jockey Part one One trick jockey Part two I am using several of the questions that can be asked about a jockey who is riding at the one meeting. This looks more tidier than writing in the comments at the bottom of each blog, therefore readers can follow and understand what is on show. I will be selective with the list of 1TJ jockeys who i feel can do well at the chosen meeting. With this kind of process hopefully we can eliminate the jocks and horses that are unlikely to win. I am sure we can dig out a few winners, as the first blog gave us many This blog will work well in tandem with Robmull's weekly trends Horse Racing Blog. To…
