THE GOLD CUP I have written a blog on the runners for this race with history to go with each runner as they appeared which many people have read and placed a mention at the bottom of the page. At least twenty five horses came to be mentioned for this Blue Ribbon race and now the numbers would have dwindled somewhat to possibly twelve or maybe more. I started out thinking SILVINIACO CONTI would be the key player to this race and at 8/1 in October looked to be the best way to play.
