  • Euro 2016 - GROUP F Preview & Selections

    botev1921 on 22 May at 22:10

A bit more than two weeks left before the start of the European championships and club football is now pretty much over all around Europe. As the national teams are being assembled and managers figure out their final line-ups, I am including yet another article on the topic, this time dealing with one particular group analysis. Group F is probably one of the most balanced and there is no clear favourite with enough arguments to really stand out. The markets have been pretty diverse on the individual groups and personally I consider a balanced group much more interesting to work with from betting perspective. GROUP F - TEAM BY TEAM ANALYSIS I have looked at PORTUGAL as part of my other blogs and little seem to have changed in terms of their status as a favourite that is just short of depth…

  • PBF EXPANDING THE DANTE FESTIVAL.

    pompeybuster12 on 22 May at 10:34

PBF MOVING THE DANTE FORWARDS I thought it would be interesting to take a look at the ratings thrown up from THE DANTE FESTIVAL to see if we can take any pointers towards the bigger events ahead of us, York has a rich intertwined history with the classics, with the DANTE itself throwing 10 Derby winners forwards, the meeting itself actually takes its name from the Derby replacement race in 1945 run at Newmarket won by DANTE, the rest as they say is history. The top 50 numbers from the festival are listed below. PBF YORK RATINGS Danzeno 84 Oasis Fantasy 83 Magical Memory 83 Suedois 83 Barsanti 82 Red Pike 81 See The Sun 81 Duke Of Firenze 80 Thesme 80 Eastern Impact 80 Mythmaker 80 Clever Cookie 79 Curbyourenthusiasm 79 Mattmu 79 Brando 78 Doctor Sardonicus 78 Red Baron 78 Top Tug 78 Second Step 78 Easton Angel 78 Gracious John 78 Twilight Son 78 Hoof It 78 Fire Fighting 77 Tupi 77 Glen Moss 77 Croquembouche 76 Innocent Touch 76 Goken 76 Canyari 76 Zanetto 76 Royal Birth 75 Wings of Desire 75 Fine Blend 75 Dick Whittington 75 Normal Equilibrium 74 Deauville 74 Hawkeyethenoo 74 Intense Style 74 Love Island 74 Nemoralia 74 Cardinal Walter 74 Saigon City 74 Arctic Feeling 73 Lucky Beggar 73 Foundation 73 George Bowen 73 Rite To Reign 73 The Cashel Man 73 RATING THE RACES. • PBF EXPANDING THE IRISH GUINEAS MEETING.

    pompeybuster12 on 24 May at 22:15

PBF MOVING THE IRISH GUINEAS FORWARDS The Irish Guineas meeting features some of the best racing of the year and this year was no exception, the English equivalent represents a chance to plant a flag whereas here it gives the opportunity to raise that flag and rubberstamp one’s ability , this year was no exception with both of the Guineas winners in action and while both were beaten , from a ratings point of view the performances were worlds apart. It is a particulary interesting meeting for me to watch as my mother was from Newbridge and The Curragh was the first racecourse I ever set foot on. The top 50 numbers from the festival are listed below. • Royal Hunt Cup at Royal Ascot Key Race Trends - 15 June 2016

Robmull on 24 May at 19:11

The Royal Hunt Cup is a Class 2 Heritage Handicap for runners aged 3 years and older which is run over the full 1 mile of the straight course at Ascot on Wednesday, 15 June 2016 and is the biggest betting event on the second day of the Royal Ascot meeting. With an average field size of just over 28 runners hurtling down the straight course, the Royal Hunt Cup resembles an old fashioned cavalry charge and is always a fiendishly difficult event for punters to assess. During the past decade, just 1 market leader has obliged for a loss of 5.00 pts, with only a further 2 winners starting at single figure odds, whilst the exceptions were sent off at odds of 12/1, 14/1, 16/1, 20/1, 25/1, 28/1 and 33/1, which suggests that winners can come from just about…
