Ayr Gold Cup Trends (2 x 33/1 selections)
by Micko70 on 15 Sep at 21:55
The William Hill Ayr Gold Cup is one of the biggest sprint handicaps run over the season, the race is a class 2 race run over 6 furlongs in September. Amazingly, when this race was first run in the early 1800's, it was run over 2 miles, it was then dropped down to a mile in 1870 before dropping to it's current distance of 6 furlongs in 1908. We normally see a huge field in this race, within the maximum amount of runners currently set at 27, we also have the Silver & Bronze Cup's for horses not good enough to run in the Gold Cup or the Silver Cup (Bronze Cup runners) The trends i am looking at this year are Age, Weight, Official Rating, Last Time Out, Last Run & Season Runs Just prior to the 5 day declarations, there were..
2014 Betfred Cambridgeshire Handicap Stats And Pointers , Saturday 27/9/14
by The Executioner on 18 Sep at 23:03
The Cambridgeshire was first run in 1839, the same year as The Cesarewitch was established and the races soon became known as the Autumn Double. It takes place on the Rowley Mile course over a straight nine furlongs trip, and it takes some getting, often a horse that has won over slightly further can run well rather than the more speedier types. During the race’s history there has six two time winners, Hackler’s Pride ( 1903/1904 ) , Christmas Daisy ( 1909/1910 ) , Sterope ( 1948/1949 ) , Prince De Galles ( 1969/1970 ) , Baronet ( 1978/1980 ) and most recently Rambo’s Hall ( 1989/1992 ). As with some of the other major handicaps of the season there has been an increase in prizemoney which has also seen an increase in the quality of entries, and often..

NFL EXPERT PICKS WEEK 3 Well it gives me great pleasure to welcome you back to the NFL EXPERT PICKS blog…your weekly one stop shop for NFL guidance right through to February’s big event! Last year this was a hugely successful blog as all your usual NFL commentators formed their own guiding coalition on a weekly basis and they’re back again this year once again. It’s so good to be back again and hopefully together we can come up with more of the usual quick one liners for each and every game throughout the rest of the season, with some informed thoughts on how the games should play out. Last season saw a very good strike rate for the majority of the NFL Experts and many of them out-performed seasoned pros who were giving their own weekly insights on the net on..

Liverpool - Ludogorets Preview - The Bulgarian Perspective
by botev1921 on 15 Sep at 22:17
It is no shock to me that English fans have absolutely no idea who Ludogorets are and the Bulgarian champions are one of those very interesting nobodies you see in the Champions league every once in a while, but in the context of the very questionable Liverpool performances lately, it is worth looking at the Ludogorets perspective and measure their chances of getting some sort of result on Anfield. If you are interested in a first hand info on Ludogorets, feel free to check my pre-season team preview Ludogorets (Razgrad) - The Story as I guarantee you will find all you need to know about them from start to finish. Ludogorets under their new manager - clash of two cultures To be brutally honest, you need to have seen Ludogorets play in more than one or two games in order to have..
The Southampton Perspective: Saints to Shoot Down Swans?
by danbradley on 18 Sep at 09:58
The Southampton Perspective: Saints to Shoot Down Swans? Last week was a very successful one for both me and my team as the Saints marched on to a 4-0 demolition of a poor Newcastle side, with all but one of my pre-match selections coming in giving an LSP of +11.35 - that's the profit you would have made from each pound you put on my tips. A lot of attention has been given to the misgivings of the visitors and the positives from the Southampton performance have almost been overlooked as a result, but, considering the huge turmoil the club went through and the number of new bodies in the team, it must be said that this was a fantastic early result for the Saints and proof that the club have recruited well and got the new players linking up almost..
