US Open 2014 - Prediction blog
by botev1921 on 22 Aug at 00:02
After the huge success of the Wimbledon Prediction Blog and the positive feedback we received about it, our panel is back to give it another go, this time for the last Major of the season. The US Open represents something of a culmination for the tennis season as the summer is busy with all the US Open series tournaments and once the last Major is out of the way, the best tennis players can concentrate on rounding up their year with either eye on the Masters Finals or the smaller events in the last couple of months before the winter break. Just like for Wimbledon, our blog consists of six selections, all offered blindly by our experts, who have no idea what the others are thinking. There is the standard ATP and WTA champions selection and some ideas on players most..
The Barclays Preview - Ridgewood Country Club (PGA Tour)
by STEVEOCN on 17 Aug at 20:57
FedEx Cup - The Barclays, August 21st to 24th Tournament Intro: The PGA Tour heads to Paramus in New Jersey this week for the opening event of the FedEx Cup Play-Off Series. The Top 125 points leaders will tee it up at Ridgewood Country Club, a Par 71 layout measuring just over 7,300 yards. Designed by Albert Warren Tillinghast in 1929, Ridgewood has hosted The Barclays on two previous occasions with Matt Kuchar defeating Martin Laird in a play-off here in 2010 and Vijay Singh edging out Sergio Garcia & Kevin Sutherland in the 2008 edition. Course Links: It is worth noting that courses designed by A.W. Tillinghast have hosted several of Golf's Major Championships. The Black Course at Bethpage State Park was the home to the U.S. Open in 2002 & 2009. The Lower Course at Baltusrol Golf Club was the venue for..
The All Draws Multiple Challenge - week 1
by tbuckley on 21 Aug at 14:11
The All Draws Multiple Challenge - week 1 I absolutely love taking on a challenge, especially a football betting related one that can potentially help people and so when fellow OLBG member Josephfred350 posted on another blog to say that he couldn't find anybody who covered specifically selecting draws then I really could not resist. The challenge of selecting matches which I think have great potential to be draws and then putting them together in multiples in something that I've personally done on a regular basis for several years now and I like to do it as extra option to the all to win multiples that I do. I like to target draws as the odds are usually very good, standard draw prices range from 2-1 to 12/5 and clearly if you can get two or more draws together in a multiple..
