Manchester City v Tottenham Hotspur, Saturday 18th October (12:45ko) Preview Firstly welcome to my blog and my preview on Premier League matches involving my club Manchester City. This week I'll be writing about our 4th Premier League match at the Etihad Stadium, our opponents are Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs have had a decent start to the season, if you consider the fact that they've had a change of manager who'll be in the process of trying to install a new philosophy into his team, 11 points from a possible 21 is a very respectable start. Their North London rivals Arsenal can only boast 10 points and we're only 3 points ahead of them on 14 so far. Tottenham are yet to lose on the road too so Mauricio Pochettino and his side will be confident of getting..

by The rabbit on 19 Oct at 15:48
Matt Kuchar will be competing on the PGA tour this week when he competes in the McGladrey Classic from the 23rd October until the 26th October 2014. This tournament was first staged in 2010 and it is hosted by Davis Love III and it is part of the FedExCup schedule and the winner will obtain 500 points. The Seaside course at Sea Island in Georgia has been the venue since 2010 and the past four champions of this tournament with their final scores are - 2013 Chris Kirk - 14 2012 Tommy Gainey - 16 2011 Ben Crane - 15 2010 Heath Slocum - 14 The Course The Seaside course is a par 70 of just over 7000 yards with two par 5's and four par 3's and is not surprisingly by the coast so wind can be a factor here. The course is on..
The Biggest Mug Bet in Racing?
by garethp1981 on 21 Oct at 07:18
As an OLBG member I have been lucky enough to get the chance to join fellow members at the races a couple of times now. Of course the atmosphere at the racecourse and the racing itself is fantastic, but my favourite aspect of it is probably the conversations I have had with fellow members about racing as well as other sports. The most recent outing was to Doncaster and it did not disappoint in terms of the racing or the conversation, in fact I left not only having been lucky enough to win some money but also with a couple of ideas for things to write about in this blog. One conversation that I wasn’t actually involved in, but which I overheard on the way down to watch the OLBG race was about lucky 15 bets and the gist of..
Weekly Euro Football Predictor 2014 - WEEK 7 - Champions league
by botev1921 on 19 Oct at 22:19
After the great season we had last year and the tons of positive messages regarding our Weekly Euro Football Blog, we are back with a bigger team and even more determined to help you out with well-developed selections on the biggest European leagues and the Champions league. The idea behind the blog is to get differing opinions on the best bets for the best matches in Europe over the weekend from a panel of experts. Each tipster provides their perception of the way the game will pan out and where the value bet in the mass football markets might be. These opinions can be used in any way you wish. You may wish to take one bet where the panel agrees (signalled out as CONSENSUS PICK) and add that to existing bets you have or mix and match the various European..
Champions League Gameweek 3 - Liverpool vs Real Madrid
by ibfm23 on 21 Oct at 06:25
Liverpool host Real Madrid on Wednesday night in a clash between two of the most decorated clubs in Europe who are (unfortunately for Liverpool fans) living different realities. The Galacticos are on a 7 match winning streak in all competitions with a whopping 32 goals scored and just 5 conceded. The Reds returned from Loftus Road with all 3 points, however, it is crystal clear that the current squad composition is not geared up to compete for silverware. The bookies are giving Liverpool very slim chances with the WDL priced at 4.75, 4 and 1.85 respectively. Whilst the diehard fan in me always believes (or rather hopes) that the next match will turnaround the season, the rational me does not look beyond a Real Madrid win. This notwithstanding it is not unusual for Liverpool to turn up on big occasions (what..
